Merle walked to her locker, head down ignoring everything around her. She fumbled with her locker but managed to open the stupid thing. Merle hoped with all her might that there weren't any of her 8th grade classmates in her class. They hated Merle. The had bullied Merle almost all of last year and Merle did not feel like repeating that hell. Merle grabbed her books and headed to her first class. Merle's first class was world history. Fabulous. history first thing in the morning. Nothing exciting just history, in a class filled with already tired students.

Tatsuo curled her hand around the scythe. Revenge. Such a sweet word. Sure this was hell, but hell offered revenge. And Tatsuo was going to take it. Tatsuo's smile widened. She felt better with a weapon in her hand. And a beautiful red scythe like this one felt just right.

Merle sat up, thinking about school. High school. This was going to be different. Her grades were great and she was good with her bass. Merle put on her black dress and cat hoodie, brushing her black hair out of her green eyes. As Merle left her room, she looked at her electric bass. She grabbed breakfast and ate it, not talking to her family. Once done with her breakfast, Merle found that it was time for her to leave for school. Merle's stomach twisted with anticipation. She didn't want to be picked on this year, but her scrawny demeanor, young age, and good grades, would make that hard.

Bio: Merle's family has always been hard on her. They have had high expectations of her. She was always expected to get A's so Merle has never really had friends. Her scrawny demeanor and young age had left Merle as a victim for bullying though she never let it show. She saved up her money for an extremely long time so that she could buy an electric bass. Her parents reluctantly left Merle keep her Electric Bass and Merle has been playing it ever since, though she still plays her stand up bass. Other: Merle plays both stand up bass and electric bass. She has been playing them for almost her entire life, though her electric bass was only bought in sixth grade.

In a final battle between good and evil a thousand years ago the world was devastated. But humanity moved on. They took refuge in the sky, leaving the desolate lands of the Earth. Their savior had died in the final battle in order to save the world and her tale was told as a legend. Humans thrived in a world of magic. The species became less human and demons and angels became more common. Arca Academy thrived in this new world. It started as simply an academy for mages but as the diversity grew the academy expanded. It taunt classes on combat and classes on magic though the normal subjects were also covered. The school had several things it was famous for. It's island was beautiful with caves and luscious forests. There was a legendary standee glass window in the girl's dorm and the boy's dorm. It is also said that the coffin of the fabled hero was on the island. There have also been sighting of dragons and griffons, along with other creatures.
