(I'm out. Good luck guys. Kordan's on autopilot)
@Patches
Kordan's own ears had screamed at the noise, the sonic barrage bringing him to his knees. Upon rousing himself from the assault, things had gone very wrong, very quickly. The words his companions spoke were silent, lips flapping and no noise other than a ringing in his head greeting him. Touching his ear, his fingertips came back red, and with a shock Kordan realized he was deaf... But that wouldn't stop him. He'd get healed at the clinic, he was sure some mist user could patch him up. Looking around, the woman had multiplied, and the illusory terrain had failed to disappear... This was light magic on a level he couldn't comprehend, this total illusion that fooled the senses rendering him speechless. He'd of loved to study it, but as it turned out he wouldn't have the time. Thinking fast, his arm ignited in a nova of ghostly blue flames, power surging as lightning spiked through his hair and ignited his eyes in eldritch power.
"COVER YOUR EYES, AND HOLD YOUR BREATH!"
He bellowed, much louder than he probably needed to. With a turn and a swirl, the rune of explosive power inscribed itself in fire at his feet, as his gauntlet sprayed out liquid yim. Icy shields rose up to block his allies from seeing the epicenter of his blast, as he let out a burst of magical fire sufficient to turn the desert of shifting sands into nothing but blast-glazed glass. A swirling pillar of fire rose from him into the sky before bursting out in every direction, the explosion of flaming force wrapping around their icy barriers to leave them with pockets of rapidly heating air, their eyes drying up and singing if they hadn't followed Kordan's directions. The mischeivous pillars of flame that radiated outwards from him receeded as soon as they were cast, his flames swallowed up and extinguished as the light receeded into his body. The smouldering hellscape around them that was left would glow slightyly, the rock emanating wisps of smoke and glowing fragments of char. Looking around, Kordan was still deaf, but his smile was gigantic.
"DID I GET HER?"
@Nashie@Ember Storm

Kordan, bringing up the back of the group, was closest to this shadowy intruder, and as such, felt the most panic. Swallowing the fear that crept up on him, he took a deep breath and nodded, thinking about what was to happen next. They were, obviously, going to try to kill this woman. There was no doubt about this. So, he raised his gauntlet, a pilot flame igniting his whole arm in ghostly blue fire... but then he tried to be sneaky. Underneath the platform he was on, he attempted to sear the same rune on the bombs they'd found onto the bottom of the balcony. He used all of his knowledge of runlaying and soon, a small, smoldering copy was underneath her feet, seared in by his pyromancy... and he was ready to detonate that rune, should she act up.
"I suggest you answer my compatriots questions, else you'll face the same fate as your guards."

Once Johnny had grabbed every note and document that seemed damning, Kordan waited for the rest of them to file into the hallway. Once everyone was safely out of the room, he'd shut the door behind them, and turn to the lovely room, so full of flammable furniture and sewer gas. Cracking his fingers, he just smiled, before he lit the place up like a bonfire. A living nova of fire surged out, little gremlins of spark and ash turning the place into a roiling inferno around him, the place curling and blackening, warping under the incredible supernatural heat. The flame seemed to revere him.. respect him. It left him alone. Satisfied with his work, he'd reach to the red hot doorknob and open the door, shutting and freezing it behind him so that the fire he'd started would take time to spread... they probably hd ten or so minutes before it burned through his icy barrier.

"I suggest you all hurry up if you plan to talk to the thing." He said, bringing up the rear.

The newest revelations about Gustrag's true intentions were... well, to Kordan's sick and twisted mind, welcome. The Children had just gone from villains, to super villains. The lack of value for human life they showed, the sheer levels of depravity they had to sink to... It sent a wide, telling smile over his face, as he thought about what he got to do next.

"Little lady, I think you and me are gonna get along just fine... You just gave me the magic words."

Looking to the cowboy and Yoshimi in turn, he smiled, before his armored arm burst into blue, ghostly flames, his hair beginning to spike up and flow in the heat and electricity. For the first time that night, Kordan let his emotions flow, the magic pouring out of him pure and hot as he let it burst out of his eyes, the blue irises alighting in supernatural blaze.
"You all might want to find the rune. I can cover the part where this place burns to the ground... I'll be behind you all, just move fast. You don't want me to catch up!"
@Patches

Kordan just grinned, gathering the explosive and slipping it into his robe, keeping it safe. Turning to Yoshimi, he smirked.
"You're not near as much fun as I give you credit for then. I finally have bad guys to set on fire. No qualms, no ethical conundrum, no should I or shouldn't I. The children are evil, plain and simple, and I get to strut my stuff. I'm ecstatic. Yoshimi.
Now, let's get with our friends."

Looking up at the grate ceiling above him, a sparking fireball coalesced in the palm of his hand, and a blaze burned in his eyes...
@Nashie
Johnnie and Astrid would hear a the loud sound of rippling, roiling flame as a pillar of it erupted from the floor below them, over where Kordan and Yoshimi had been. The metal wilted before it liquefied, leaving a glowing hole of molten material. Rising on a gust of wind, Kordan stepped through, having successfully gotten through the grate in his own fashion.
"How did you two fare up here?"
@Patches

Kordan was more than a little excited. Cover was blown, a dumb stealth mission had turned into something he could actually work his magic in, and there was an evil organization to take down. She'd never seen him smile wider as he dusted himself off, walking towards the dead man. Standing him up against the wall with a quick blast of wind, he began patting him down and rifling through pockets.

"You guys need to invite me to things like this more often. It's lots of fun, I have to say. Think stealth's been blown to the point I can start using lightning?"

He asked casually, as if he got into this kind of trouble every day. Unflappable, he kept rifling through the dead man's pockets for... whatever it was Yoshimi was looking for. He'd forgotten already.
@Patches
Kordan rolled his eyes at the mention of a bomb. He'd crunched a door, survived setting himself on fire, and rode on a rocket-ride on the way up. The fact that Yoshimi still thought heat and fire could hurt him was adorable... wait, shit! It could hurt Yoshimi! Using his natural storm powers, he whipped up a whirlwind that blasted the guard into the nearby brick wall.

"Yoshimi, get down, and get behind me!"

He used his gauntlet, summoning forth the liquid waters of yim. Swirling them in front of them, he created a half dome around the guard, magically freezing and hardening it. Hopefully he was strong enough to contain the blast, and not the other way around. You know, the way that caused icy spears to shoot into his flesh.
@Patches
Kordan was very quick to join her. The man was on his front, and a swift kick would send him tumbling to his back, only to look up at the flaming eyes of the pyromancer above him. The bilgemuck around him was nasty and sour, and almost boiling from Kordan's magic as the mage put his foot on his chest. Extending his hand imperiously, flames would roar from his blazing hand to form a searing, hissing stream of plasma that ended a few inches from his neck.
Go ahead, Yoshimi. Ask him all the questions you want. He starts feeling like he doesn't want to talk, and I'll start setting sensitive bits on fire."
Again with the controlling those constructs... It was almost like light and mist had a baby with Kordan's mean, mean imagination.
@Patches@Nashie
Kordan just grinned. Oh, this was the part of these fights he lived for. Cracking his fingers, his eyes burned with inner fire, his own unique ability coming to light. With a low whistle, he did his best to cover Yoshimi as he pointed his finger imperiously at the guard. Like a kill command, two lithe cat-like apparitions made of smoke and living flame manifested. Sending them after the guard to distract him from Yoshimi, he figured this was how they'd stay stealthy. If there was nobody left to notice, then technically nobody noticed.

"Alrighty then. Little less stealthy than you all wanted. Fuck it, let's play. Johnnie, get off that grate, it might shock the shit out of you here in a moment." He said, his steps beginning to leave steaming puddles of boiling water in his wake as he stepped through the muck. One of his hands waited, pointing at the door the guards had shouted from.
