Again, not everyone wants to be Aes Sedai, so why am I worried about it? Even if everyone did (which they don't) it'd just be a different sort of RP. I'm not really seeing the problem still.

I'm failing to see the issue with this. :D
But we've already had one person who wants to be a warder, so not everyone wants to be Aes Sedai. If it becomes an issue, i'll say something but at this point I'm not going to place limits on character types.

That is why I'm really starting to lean towards going back in time instead of forwards.

And I have to admit, I am really impressed with the amount of people who've replied to this. This weekend I'll start compiling information for an OOC thread.

It wouldn't be set right after the end. And not everything would be perfect. The nations would probably still quarrel with each other. There'd be wars and misunderstandings. There would be a lot we could do.

Brilliant book series. Just started 10. But, would definitely have to ask if it was before or after the 10th, because of what actually happened. Then, Talents, abilities, if the Forsaken are going to be assholes with us, or to busy staring into the mirror and making it tell them they are pretty. Also what the status of the Seanchan is. So, lot to talk about. But I would still be interested in it.

Well, if it is after the series. The forsaken would be dead/not there.:x As for the Seanchan, concidering the ending of the last book there'd be at least a peace between the nations.

Considering the amount of people who haven't finished the series that are expressing interest, I think I might go for setting this RP before the book series by a couple hundred years. Maybe during Arthur Hawking's time?

What did you have in mind for the characters? Would we be channelers?

I was thinking one person would be a Ta'veren. And everyone else could be whomever they wanted. Since I only wanted a smaller group I kind of assumed everyone would pick either a Channeler or someone equally empowered. Of course depending if it is set before or after the New Age, it depends on whither or not Saidin is clean of taint for the guys. Which would created problems if it was the former.

I never got into the Game of Thrones craze. :\ First because the show's porn. Second because the books were boring. (Runs away from angry fans)
