The main difference is Type B is recognized as skills by some, they've been classified. Type A is not.

Type A for the most part since it's largely uncontrolled, if I'd have to place it. And move it up rank as it becomes more controlled by your character.
Though, to be honest, the types are more of guide lines than anything else. You don't have to mention which type, just name it as PK. It's all good. After all, none of this is a science. C:

Type B is more of the measurable aspects of ESP if such things were. Type A is more along the lines of feelings. They feel their way through the paranormal. Like a big ol' paranormal reciver depending on what sort of senses they have. Some Type A people sense danger. Some get things wrong all the time. (Like if you asked someone to choose the correct card in a 50/50 scenario, they'd always get it wrong.) Then there are those with uncannily good luck.

Type B are more classifiable abilities. Mediums, Seers, Clairvoyants, Dreamwalkers, Empaths, etc.

Did that help clear it up a bit?

I think it'd be kinda fun to play as something to the effect of the skeptic who got roped into this as the camera operator or ghost whisperer, who actually turns out to be the most in tune with the supernatural out of the group, despite being the only one in the group who doesn't believe in this stuff (in which case, it might be a good idea for me to coordinate with at least one of the other players to figure out why I'd even bother playing along, like if I owe them a favor and the team needed an extra member, or what).

Yes. In the OOC I have a character sheet outline that has a spot for ESP. The only thing I ask for is don't go crazy. We're not doing a "fantasy" story. :)
And yeah, coordinate away.

Of Steam and Souls

Having been supplied with a time frame Shigetoshi bids Tatsuki goodbye for the moment and heads out to inform the guests when dinner would be ready. He gives the young guest a bit of leeway and add a few minutes to the estimate, just in case. The Fujiwara sisters, the married one, were thrilled that dinner was being made by Tatsuki. They pulled Shigetoshi into their room and quizzed him on what was being made. Since he really had no idea other than what he had seen he was only able to tell them about the breaded pork. For some reason this seemed to disappoint them. Perhaps it was too similar to Japanese cuisine? When the sisters finally released Shigetoshi he hurried back to the kitchen. He would be happy when he stopped being in the middle of whatever that was.

"Still want my help?" Shigetoshi asked as he stepped into the kitchen rolling up the selves of his outfit. He smiled crookedly at the guest before moving closer to see what was being done. He had been gone for a fair amount of time so he wasn't sure if there was much else to be done, if anything. "Or do you have everything taken care of?" He found himself slightly disappointed at the prospect and gave himself a mental kick. Again, he wasn't a love struck teen. He needed to get over himself and stop acting only a little better than the married Fujiwara sisters.
