About

Blue Demon || Female || Older || Ace

I go by Blue, Demon or BD. Or even Hey You if it's clear enough that you're talking to me. XD I prefer Blue or Blue Demon. And no, I didn't choose "Blue" because I'm sad. It's my favorite color. (And now you know.)

Also, I just discovered DMC and now I'm Dante trash.

The OOC

These are the voyages of the starship Orion. We will continue to explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go where no one has gone before.

Rules:
  • My word is final
  • Respect the other players.
  • If there is a problem, take it to me (or another GM)
  • Please don't spam.
  • No God-Modding or metagaming.
  • I reserve the right to reject any character if they don't fit the setting.

About:
The year is 2734 and the ongoing war with the Dominion is in full swing. The Federation and the Klingon Empire have entered a cease fire to join forces against the Dominion. The Dominion have allied with the Cardassians and taken over Deep Space 9 and the Bajoran system including the Bajoran wormhole. So far the Empire and the Federation have only suffered losses in their encounters with the Dominion. The worst was when the Seventh Fleet tried to stop the incursion in the Tyra system which resulted in the loss of 98 ships.

However, the Federation, with Klingon assistance, is mounting an attack to retake Deep Space 9 and the wormhole. The Federation can't afford to lose or else Vulcan will fall to the Dominion. Already the fleet there is nearly defeated. Overseeing the attack are Captain Benjamin Sisko and General Martok. The Fleets slated to be involved were the Second (from Vulcan), Fifth and Ninth (Comprised of Klingon ships).

We are not involved. USS Orion is currently being utilized as an escort ship for Ambassador Spock as he continues his work with the Romulans.

Goals:
As a GM my goal is to introduce fun, new environments (with a few nods to the TV series and movies). I welcome input and suggestion for directions the RP can take. This will be partially sandbox, I wont force direction if all the players take initiative, but I'm not afraid to be rather heavy handed if I think the player run direction is floundering.

I do have a first arc planned, but it's malleable. Things never run as planned.

Character Information:

Please do not post your CS in the tab until I have OK'd your sheet. Elsewise it's automatically rejected. If your character is accepted please don't use hiders (unless there is a photo that is abnormally large) in the CS tab.

You are allowed more than one character. You can have as many as you can handle (Unless it gets out of hand).

How I'm choosing characters going for the same position:
  • If I have two finished characters who both want the same position I'll decide based on their skills and will choose the character that will benefit the ship most. The remaining character will be allowed to be under them.
    • IE: Years in Starfleet, Prior Training, Age and In The Field Experience
    • EX: Two characters vie for the Chief Medical Officer. Character B gets the spot. Character A can be either a nurse or just a regular Medical officer.
  • Person A's first character is the Helmsman and A wants their second character to be Chief Engineer. However person B wants their first character to be the Chief Engineer. I would give the spot to person B because they don't have a prominent position yet.

He must have had a completely justifiable reason to do so... *looks around nervously*

I have no idea. I tried to find out the context but failed. Chances are it's to teach her an elaborate lesson. Perhaps she didn't buy more milk.
Mailsi might one day go dark side... There's a very real possibility.

Wait! I just figured out the reason for the school. To keep an eye on those students who might one day become villains. Haha.

EDIT:
On another note. Here's Clark pushing Lois out a window. (Because it was there)

Broker had a slimming black pea coat on with a black cloche hat tucked firmly on her head. Her dark, skinny, blue jeans were tucked into a pair of high heeled boots to give her extra height. Trailing behind her were Ted and Liam, as usual. Their breath puffed out in front of their faces. Each of them watched those people around them. Every so often Broker would pause, pull off a knit glove and touch an object before moving on. They had scouted out the Pavilion since they learned of the meeting place.

Broker had tried to set up an earlier meeting with Argus, but with the scant information she had, she failed. Now she was here hoping to beat out the other members of the coalition. Morons, each and everyone one of them. Which was why her game plan had changed. Ted pealed off at a small nod of Broker's head. Liam and Broker took up the guise of a couple wandering the grounds and taking photos. All the while they watched the super villains from the funeral home arrive.

Looks like a few of them actually understood the concept of stealth. She watched as they approached Argus. The transmission from Ted came in so Broker could overhear what was being said. The old man like to talk and talk. She filed away the information for a later occasion. It was a very hand thing to have a perfect memory.

Broker posed with Liam for another photo before giggling. Liam, for his part smiled like he might at his wife. Liam's wife was probably a very patient woman. Then the two wandered off back into another part of the garden, still leaving the pavilion in sight.
Posted. I'm going to hold off on adding in Kyle's reaction until something else happens on the Squad's end.

Also, I'm not sure who's still at the front. I know Mar'i's inside and so is Rita. Cat boy is on the roof somewhere. Is everyone else still at the front?

Mailsi rolled her shoulders as Kieran's location came to her via telepathy. She hated telepaths, but she couldn't really complain. She had asked for it after all. She took a deep breath and prepared herself to teleport. She was just about to activate her powers when a broadcast came over the facility. Mailsi still held herself on the edge of teleporting but waited to watch the message.

It was grisly. It had been too long since she had watched someone get maimed. Still, she knew it was fake and that took out a lot of horror for the situation. Though the utter realism of the session still turned her stomach. It was a good show and the message was simple. Mailsi ignored the little barely audible voice in the back of her head. It whispered to her that thy should press in. That now was their chance. They had the other team on the defensive. They were only showboating because Mailsi's team had the upper hand. If Mailsi kept on the pressure they'd win, what were a few holographic hostages? It wasn't like this was real.

Mailsi triggered her comms, not waiting for S'tann or to even discuss this with him. Their fast was too slow. It was time to fall back.

"We're retreating. Meet up with us outside the base. If you need directions, bug S'tann." Mailsi took a deep breath and changed again. She might call her ability teleportation, but it wasn't. It was travelling along sound waves at the speed of sound. Despite looking like a duck and quacking like a duck, it wasn't a duck.

Within milliseconds of teleporting Mailsi appeared at the front of the base. The damage here was worse than she had realized. And she was more than a little surprised to see S'tann looking like death warmed over.

"Everyone okay?" Mailsi eyed S'tann's side, but spared everyone else a glance. Mailsi suppressed the shiver as the cold hit her harder after her little teleportation stunt. I am a pillar. I am immovable. Mailsi mentally chanted. I will hold us together.

"Who's buried?"
I'll probably get my next post up tomorrow. :)
@FacePunchI can have Mailsi call in a retreat or fall back and regroup... If we like the nicer phrase.

And Kyle will NOT like these turns of events. Another dissenter.
I'm not sure if I should post again... or wait for more people. (I know I want to... but)\

Also, last week was terrible and I found this highly amusing. I hope it makes someone happy. As it made me happy.
