Blue Demon || Female || Older || Ace

I go by Blue, Demon or BD. Or even Hey You if it's clear enough that you're talking to me. XD I prefer Blue or Blue Demon. And no, I didn't choose "Blue" because I'm sad. It's my favorite color. (And now you know.)

So I've failed miserably with balancing work and free time. (Basically it's been all work and no free time.) However I want to let you all know I am trying. >< Hopefully I should start rounding up replies this weekend.

Thanks so much for all your patience with me.
I think I'm gonna have to call this one. :(

Dead.

A shame, but we gave it a good try.
Sorry for being MIA. I've been uber busy with studying for a test (which is pretty much going to determine my entire future) so I haven't and wont be on for the rest of the week. Hopefully I'll have time by next Monday to start replying again.
Sorry for being MIA. Which I'm probably going to be for the rest of the week. If you guys get to a place where you need me to move the story along, just go ahead and godmode me or whatever. Hopefully next week I'll be back posting.
Munk said Great post, Blue Demon!

Ollumhammersong said Im going to try and post tomorrow. I have a bunch of things that all needs posts so Im going to have to hunker down at crap out eight or so responses to things.

That sounded like me when I forgot to long on for a week.... I had soo many replies all over the place.

And I'm loving my new nickname stickman. Chopsticks. :D
I hope you like where I'm taking this. It'll include everyone's skills and whatnot in the plan. :)
If you don't like it... sorry :(
Mordechai continued to look at the map after the Baron spoke. It was apparent the man was disheartened by the lack of support, but he was still going through with it. The Baron's will was strong to oppose the history of years of racism and elitism. He didn't realize silence had fallen upon the chamber until he lifted his head. The darker skinned man frowned. It was obvious this small band had run out of constructive things to add. The White Shields usually had straight forward tasks. Go here, hit this. Kill so-and-so. Etcetera. This was a little out of most of their expertise. If he was judging by everyone faces. Even the cocky white boy Caden seemed to be at a loss. The Western man looked back at the map then the men in the room.

"So your real problem is the meeting." Leon said suddenly. "Do you honestly believe if you make it to the meeting alive that people will support you?" The older swordsman had sprung to his feet as if he was unable to keep still any longer. It make the Baron turn his head in order to look at Leon.

"I don't follow. But yes, I do believe that I can get enough support at the meeting in order to at least get my proposal onto the docket." The Baron looked a little confused at the line of reasoning.

"You said your problem was Heath and Janus." Leon said pointing at the two Barondoms. Then he looked up at the men, and woman, at the table. "But in reality it's getting LaFlur to the meeting. And making sure he has something to come back to." Leon cracked a large grin and suddenly Mordechai was getting what Leon was saying.

"That's brilliant." The young man said smiling. Leon cracked a smile and clasped the baron on the back. "All you have to do is be here and at the meeting. Thereby distracting both the Baron and Baroness." Leon's eyes flicked over to the mage. "Think you could manage that?"
Shigetoshi was glad that the guest lets his slip slide. He quickly grabs the rest of the boards and follows Tatsuki, abet a little slower. He wasn't used to the balancing act. However he manages without dropping anything or making a fool out of himself. The Innkeeper watched Tatsuki serve the other guests and he fretted a little internally. Wasn't he supposed to serve everyone? After all it was his job. Tatsuki was kind enough to help make dinner, who was Shigetoshi to make him serve the other also. But the other man didn't seem upset or annoyed at all. In fact he seemed largely happy by the entire ordeal.

At least until he passed out the last dish. Shigetoshi finished as quickly as he can without rudeness before moving over to Tatsuki. The other man was already sitting at their table. Shigetoshi placed the two dishes down and places the serving board on the floor next to him as he knelt down. He found himself frowning as he looked over Tatsuki. Perhaps he had been wrong. Maybe the other man was upset at having to do all this work. The dichotomy of his earlier happiness and his current mood was throwing Shigetoshi, The sounds of everyone eating and taking were but mere background noise.

Shigetoshi took a deep breath and finally asked the question that had been on his mind. "Are you okay?" Shigetoshi's voice was quiet and a little unsure. "Do you need anything?" He didn't add the question that he somehow made the other man unhappy. Or had caused this mood.
Lei Ne decided she rather liked the bemused look on Thorin's face. His surprise made the skinny woman chuckle, though she hid it behind a hand. She knew the other look on his face too. Chances are he'd never fit though. Shame that. She just smiled as he cast another furtive glance as he pulled out his cask. She happily sat back and watched her new teammates. It was obvious by body posture that the samurai wasn't quite smitten with her. He backed it up with words.

Next time, just ask, will you lass? I heard you were good with words, so next time, show us.

Completely non-offended Lei-Ne kept smiling. "In my experience asking only gets you rude gestures or a beating." She crossed her legs and snuggled a little further into her seat. "Though I suppose I will next time if only to keep you from actually shooting me or whatever your preferred method is." She tilted her head to the side like a bird watching a worm. She eventually moved her eyes away and to the door as Thorin continued talking about his past job. The troll seemed to be genuinely happy to be relating the story. She added that to her opinion on him. So far there was only two people in this room that she might trust.

The first was herself, duh, and the second was Thorin. She didn't trust either the rigger or the samurai as far as she could throw them. From what she saw, they were looking out for themselves only. Not that she was blaming them. She probably wouldn't go out on a limb for anyone in this room, the troll included. If she got in over her head she was more likely to bolt without a word. Of course, before that her signature bad luck would probably kick in making everyone's life a living Hell.

Lei Ne was pulled out of her people watching as the subject changed back to the job. She leaned forwards, opening her mouth to mention they were still missing their mage when Red said it first. Lei Ne clicked her mouth shut and sat back with a dainty frown. Of course. She shook her head as she reviewed the information. She could chat up some suit to get info. Simple. She might even be able to get the blueprints also if Red couldn't.

Okay, that adds another task to our job. We need to find a way to deal with Koch-Huang's MagiSec. Hire another mage, get somebody to scope the place astrally, something. I don't know how these things work, and as far as I know, none of you guys are Awakened, am I right?

Lei Ne nodded her head to the question. She didn't even realized she just completely lied when she did so. Lying was mere second nature at this point. The dissemination of false and true information had kept herself. And she didn't really trust anyone where. Why would she tell the truth when in a way the lies had become the truth. "Red." Lei Ne frowned at one of her nails. "Can you get me an employee list, faces, names, and where they live?" She should get a start on gathering Intel.
Munk said Aaand posted! Seems like Red Five hasn't figured out that Lei-Ne's an adept yet. Do some research, Red!

Lol. I'll work on my post and have it up sometime today. :)
Lord Pie said Shame to have Roman drop out, I did enjoy his character and posts! But alas what else to do in such situations.
