Meg held her breath as someone opened the door. Once the boy uttered the word orphanage, she felt a huge wave of relief pass over her. Finally. After weeks of searching, she found it. She didn't even think twice about the boy using a device to speak, it didn't matter. All that mattered was that she was here.
Shortly after, the adrenaline flickering inside her burnt out. She felt her legs waver and fell to her knees. Breathing was becoming even more difficult and she swore she saw bunny rabbits chasing around the boy's head. She tried answering the boy, but it took everything out of her to even take a gulp of air.

EDIT: Wait... In Fairy Tail, how do the guild members get the mark on them? I think I remember Mirajane stamping it on Lucy, but I can't really recall. Does anyone else know how they get it? lol

Paige immediately bent down to help Kassy put the quests back up on the board. She grinned, not caring that Kassy didn't have complete control over her powers. There was a time when Paige started learning-. She stopped herself mid-thought. Paige couldn't remember how she learned her magic and she might never known. She shook her head and washed away all thoughts of her unknown past. Paige glanced back at Kassy and smiled.
"Well Kassy, you bumped into the right girl to help find your first quest. We should start with something simple so you can work on your control," Paige said while glancing at the job requests. "Hmm... Do you see any that stand out to you?"

Meg was a complete mess. All of her clothes were drenched in water, dirt hid her pale face, and she felt ready to collapse at any moment. It had taken her forever to find this orphanage. She couldn't even remember the last time she ate a good, healthy meal.
She gasped at the huge mansion sitting in front of her. If this wasn't the place, Meg wasn't sure where she would go next. Praying it was, she knocked on the door. Breathing was becoming difficult and she felt her eyes start to flicker. Not now... Don't fall asleep yet.
"Hello?" Meg called out.
