Fairy Tail: We Are Family

"Telekinesis? That's very cool! Just think of when you master it! You'll definitely be a force to be reckon with.", Paige smiled and ruffled Kassy's hair.
""So... um... what magic do you have?" Kassy asked. Paige smirked and looked around the crowded guild. Everyone was chatting with friends or keeping to themselves; it almost felt too quiet. Someone needed to change that. She nudged Kassy a little bit behind her.
"Watch this," She said. Paige raised both of her hands and bright blue light radiated from it. Jumping high up in the air, she screamed "Wake up Fairies! Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!"
Paige threw a huge whirlwind from each hand at the guild, which erupted into complete chaos. Tables, chairs, and bodies flew everywhere. There were no looks of surprise on any of the guild member's faces, only the occasional mutter of curses and threats. Most wizards stood right back up on their feet, ready for a playful brawl to break out.
"Are you up for this, Kassy?" She asked, looking back at her.

Name: Serena Meyers

Feel for element :( Do you like it? Dislike it?) Serena is extremely passionate about her abilities. Bringing life to all things green makes her feel like she’s helping Mother Nature return to her luscious green state. She loves helping people, and having the ability to bring plants to life brings her a sense of joy and accomplishment.

Personality: Serena is kind and loves helping the people she cares about. One of her many goals in life is to make every person she meets smile. She tends to be a bit over dramatic at times though and being as clumsy as she is, Serena has a habit of causing more trouble than she means to. But, her hardworking spirit never gets her down, and she’ll do anything she can to find a way to help those in need. Serena also has a passion for art work and spends most of her time drawing and painting.

History:
Serena grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere Nebraska as an only child. Her mother home-schooled her and made it her life’s mission to keep Serena sheltered from the outside world, rarely letting her even leave the house. Serena made the most of it though, and studied in art culture and general knowledge of farming. Despite having overprotective parents, she never had a rebellious thought; she knew it would tear her mother apart should she ever leave.
One afternoon a raging thunder storm blew over the farm. A lightning bolt struck the fields, causing a wild fire to burn through half of the family’s crops. Serena was completely devastated and worried about the family’s future. If they didn’t figure out something soon, the family wouldn’t be able to afford their house or farm anymore. Serena was out one day trying to salvage any plants she could find, crying as she realized there was practically none left. All she could think about was the plants coming back to life. She pleaded and begged God to save them. After shutting her eyes in prayer, Serena opened them to find an entire field of healthy crops.
Serena couldn’t explain what had happened to her parents and she was terrified to even try. What she even say to them? It was just best to keep it a secret. To this day, her parents believe the magically growing plants to be an act of god. From the age of 14, Serena studied and mastered her beautiful gift. At the age of 18, she left her beloved home for a chance to find what her gift meant and how she was supposed to use it.
Serena currently lives in [city this takes place in] and attends the local college. She is studying in the field of art and hopes to become a successful artist in the future. Serena also works part time at a nearby garden and lives by herself in a one bedroom apartment. Understanding modern technology and what Twitter is has become a real challenge for her, and she struggles every day to understand what her peers are talking about. (Serena owns a home phone, she doesn't get or understand cell phones yet)

Paige smiled, happy she could help Kassy. She glanced over to the bar, but found [insert whoever is in charge of putting guild marks on] wasn't there.
"Don't worry! It barely feels like anything! Unfortunately, [he or she] isn't here right now. Maybe while we're waiting we can explore the guild? It'll be fun! You're super adorable and nice! I know we'll be great friends! Or we can practice your magic outside? Whatever you like! Speaking of magic, what's yours?" Paige rambled. Hopefully she wouldn't scare away Kassy. Paige genuinely liked her, and hoped they could be friends in the future.
