House Name: House Nerian

Head of House: King Ernst of Nerian, or simply Ernst Nerian, is the first monarch from his royal line, his mother having been the eighth and last monarch of house Olern, his father the noble lord of Nerian.

The eldest legitimate child of the union, Ernst was formerly the master of the royal stables. Widely considered a lunatic in his youth, Ernst lead what was considered a doomed campaign against the Tar Sequin position. Originally sent to be killed so that one of his more intelligent siblings could take over as heir, Ernst lead one of the few successful campaigns of the Wolastran war effort, winning not only battles (which the other armies had no trouble doing), but also completing his objective (which the other armies failed miserably at doing).

Despite his efforts, the war was lost. Ernst took over soon afterwards, establishing himself as a patron of many building projects and managing to rebuild the royal army. Despite his skill at generalship, Ernst has been cautious in terms of military affairs, signing humiliating treaties with the Squinites to avoid a second war, which many (wrongly) believe he has the skill to handily win.

Family Members(wife/husband, sons/daughters, brothers, etc.):
-Annika Nerian, formerly of house Gauth, Queen of Wolastra, Patron of the artist's guild and former ambassador to Nastrond.
-Reinhardt, former heir to the throne, now a brigand.
-Alois Nerian, second-born of the king, current heir, scholarly and unremarkable.

-Arwen Nerian, sister to the king, Lady Admiral of the royal fleets.
-Hansel Nerian, nephew to the king, general in the royal army.
-Karl Nerian, nephew to the king, famed artist.

-Marcel, Mark, and Sigurd Nerian, half-brothers to the king.

-Oliver and Max Olern, half-brothers to the king, both advisers and trusted confidants.

-Erwin Nerian, uncle to the king, Lord of Nerian.
-Alexander, Erwin, and Annabelle Nerian, cousins to the king.

House Placement(the kingdom they rule): Wolastra

House Coat of Arms: Azure, owl and hound combatant gules.

House History: House Nerian have been lords of Nerian for hundreds of years now, even holding the throne for one year before assuming it as it has currently.

House Nerian has been well known for its love of the hunt, represented by the hound, and their wisdom, represented by the owl. Commonly referred to as House Olern's right hand in the past, House Nerian is one of the largest houses in the kingdom, currently holding two counties and having many members spread across the continent.

The house was founded when one of the first Olern kings granted one of his household knights the newly completed castle of Nerian. As the man had no surname beforehand, he simply took the name of the castle as the name of his house. During the three empire periods, the house served the Olern house no matter what small treasons they committed. From such a humble beginning, the House has become the most powerful in the land through naught but diplomacy and marriage.

Minor Noble Houses:
-House Gretin, lords of Gauth.
-House Olern, lords of Thann.
-House Nerian of Nerian, lords of Nerian (Distinct from the royal house).
-House Wach, lords of Atran.
-House Aschendan, lords of Aschendan.
-House Stein, lords of that coastal city whose name I can't read.

Head General: Sigmar Stein.

Head Admiral: Arwen Nerian

Ambassadors: Harien Wach, Erwin Nerian, Ashe Aschendan.

Other: Wolastra is the first country on the planet to have discovered the compass, though it is still in a prototype state. Few are privy to this knowledge but the king himself and his closest retainers.
So yeah, I'd like to reserve Wolastra
@The Kid Lantern Okay, I have done as asked.
Wolastra sounds interesting.
Am I doing it rite?
Answer Scene: Rapid Unplanned Disassembly

With many companies prepared to present their newest products, one massive announcement echoed through the wide open spaces of the large convention center, the gauntlet, something that could revolutionize manufacturing. According to spokeswoman Jennifer Warpwell, the device would allow a single man to construct a space-craft in no time. Nothing of the sort had ever been thought of before, but behind the scenes, tensions were high. Struggling with her collar and sweating through her suit, Ms. Warpwell watched as an engineer fumbled with the gauntlet, pulling at parts and growling as a pop let out and smoke poured out.

"It's not ready, Ms. Warpwell, our initial estimations were off. The gauntlet suffers from an unforeseen malfunction in the projector module. If we are to present today, it will surely fail. We just don't have the proper equipment to ensure success in this environment." The man said, pulling up his welding mask to reveal a dirt-caked face. An older man in a suit squinted furiously.

"So we jumped the gun is what you're saying, the biggest project our company has ever pushed, and we can't even get it ready for the biggest Expo in our lifetimes, in everybody's lifetimes!" He pursed his lips and swallowed.

"Son of a bitch! We're all gonna lose our goddamn jobs because some dumbass down in testing didn't see a bloody prob-"

"There wasn't time for testing, sir, we were 'sure to succeed'." The older man scoffed and shook his head. Warpwell bit her lip.

"How big a problem do we have here?" The older man asked with a scowl. The engineer hesitated and grappled with the gauntlet.

"My guess? Ten percent chance the thing explodes on stage, forty percent it lets out a deadly burst of radiation right into the user's face, and fifty percent chance it doesn't do anything at all." The older man grumbled to the ceiling and fell against a nearby wall. He pulled out a cellphone.

"Cancel the demonstration... Warpwell! Get on stage and try to fix this disaster." With a nod, Jennifer complies, walking out on stage and issuing an apology to a resounding cry of anger. Immediately, Groundley had gone from the front-runner in technological debate, to a laughing stock.

How did the Keplerian Cooperative force all forms of space travel from the past into obsolescence?

Name - Andrew Nolan

Alias - Ferro Lad

Age - 19

Powers/Primary Skills -
Organic Iron Transformation- Ferro has the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic Iron. He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will. After transforming into Iron he possesses vast superhuman strength and is invulnerable to most forms of bodily harm.

Weaknesses -
No Anchoring Ability- Ferro is unable to anchor himself to the floor, meaning he is easily thrown around.

No Formal Combat Training- Ferro relies mostly on brute force when fighting. As a result, Ferro lags behind better trained fighters. His speed when in combat is abysmal when compared to a trained opponent or ally.

Brief Bio - Andrew Nolan and his twin brother, Douglas, were born with severely deformed faces. Horrified, their mother, Mary Nolan, a famous stage actress, abandoned them. Left in the care of an unscrupulous scientist called "Doc 30", he escaped as a teenager while Douglas remained behind. As a result of this experience, both Douglas and Andrew gained the ability to transform into living iron, from which Andrew took his name (Fe is the periodic table designation for Iron). After Braniac 5's betrayal, Ferro Lad rejoined with the remaining members of the Legion to protect them and perhaps find his brother once again.

Signature Attack: Throw Ally
Paul's heels embedded themselves in the ground as his target was yanked out from under him. Stumbling until he was flatfooted, Paul growled angrily and searched for her with a few quick turns of his head. Standing a few moments, furiously searching for his quarry, Paul gesticulated wildly, his arms thrown every which direction.

"You running? I didn't even have time to kick your ass! Dumb Fritz bitch!" Paul shook his hand in frustration for another minute or so.

She couldn't have gone far, I'll catch her, I just gotta find out where she went, probably hiding in a ditch like the commie she is.

Turning his head one more time, he noticed the other fighters pushing an armored car. Had they captured her in there? Was her weakness armored cars? Gliding over, he slid himself under the truck and out the other side because it looked cool.

"You happen to know where the commie bitch went?" He said, leaping to his feet. He moved to the driver's side door and floated in over one of the heroes, entering the back by punching his way through the barricade. Looking around, he was disappointed not to find the woman. Flying back out disappointed, Paul sat on the hood and dangled his leg.

"My question still stands."
@Gunther Sounds good.
Event: The Battle of Colcord

The result of the Mau-Tong Concordat would be the rise of a group known as UWA, the United World Army, who attempted, with the aid of Exot remnants and the funding of the Hassat and Iq'na, to return democracy to the planet. Unfortunately, the Cabal was incredibly popular amongst the common folk, and the UWA had virtually gone by un-noticed, despite a few bombings in Colcord, the capital of Cabal rule, little had been done to initiate full out civil war. The Cabal police force had been quick to arrest members of the UWA as domestic terrorists, torturing the men into revealing all they knew about their sponsors out in the Exot-aligned territories.

After the death of former leader, Ambassador Harwin Cree, leadership of the UWA went to former Cabal member Jericho Cruz, who, years prior, had been ousted due to his refusal to agree to Operation Legion. The Cabal, careful to ensure it didn't become public knowledge, captured Cruz and tossed him in a federal prison. Cruz's popularity with the army lead to the newly formed UWA to free him and use him as a spokesman. Realizing the danger of this, Observer One pulled all his fleets back to Earth and suspended Operation Legion. Cruz's charisma allowed the UWA to gather an immense new army, which assaulted Colcord, a huge Cabal crackdown ensued, but the fighting continued for months, with no end in sight, this event shattered public confidence in the Cabal, resulting in similar rebellions across Cabal territory.
