We'll paint the scene, we'll write the melody. We are the creators.

Bio

I'm Bobert, I like to roleplay, and I wouldn't be here otherwise. I enjoy creating unconventional characters, as I like to explore the different ways they might interact with others. Automatons are a favorite, 'beep bop' goes the robot.

If you're still reading this, that's cool. Hope you have a nice day

Xeno accepted the handshake, understanding the concept but clasping Matt's hand at an odd angle which made the actual shaking part awkward. Quickly Xeno withdrew his hand, finding the texture of Matt to be somewhat unpleasant as he was used to solid and plain surfaces. "Team," Xeno muttered as a few other pokemon began to discuss something. His attention was drawn again to the objects he'd been given, and his earlier question was thankfully answered. "And 'Anthony' is the other squishy one, correct?" Xeno tried to clarify, attention turning to the pokemon in question. He'd need to figure out exactly what was going on regarding this 'team' but that didn't seem important at the moment. The crystal while not normally something he'd be overly interested in did look kind of appetizing, and it would be good to know if it was important.
Sorry to hear about your teacher, KaBling. I can't say it's happened to me before but I can imagine the sort of gap it would leave in people's lives. EDIT: Short IC post, ik. Sry.

I just need to come up with something. I've got a few conduit concepts but they're just floating in empty space right now. I think one of them has more potential as an NPC than a player character.
It had taken a little while but Jacob had found a tunnel that didn't seem to have anything down it, and threw down his old hoodie to rest his head on. Laying at the side of the tracks, back to the wall, Jacob tried to rest but sadly it would not find him. Each time his eyes began to feel heavy a loud scream would sound from one end of the tunnel or another, and when he'd gotten up to ask for silence he'd found there was nobody down the way he'd walked. Still though the shouts persisted each time he tried to close his eyes, so Jacob now just lay against the tunnel wall, unfocused eyes on the dull metal rails in the middle of the tunnel. Though the ground was uncomfortable to lay down on the comfort of a pillow of sorts was nice, and so Jacob was left to leave his now somewhat distant thoughts to fester.
With everyone making second characters I'm starting to think I should too :I
Natasha's scream caused Jacob to cringe, the sound shocking him and as it persisted from the corner of his eyes he could see shadows closing in. She was gone quickly though, and Jacob breathed a sigh of relief as his attention was brought to Nova. When the boy finally spoke Jacob couldn't help but be worried at how serious he sounded, already a little shell shocked from the scream. He'd wanted to tell Nova he wouldn't hurt them but knew he couldn't make such promises. It was never something he'd wish upon another though, his own family coming to mind as Nova left the room. His breathing now ragged Jacob held back what tears he could, his mind now on the night he'd lost nearly all he had. His mother, father, and sister slaughtered in their sleep before that thing had tried to take his life too. He'd seen their bodies, the blood on that thing's teeth, and the murder in it's six glowing eyes. "It'll happen again... I promisssssssss," had been all it told him in that moment he'd been paralyzed with fear. He didn't understand it until now, and Jacob's breathing quickened as his sadness became anger. Trying to keep himself in check he clenched his fist, looking down at it as an oily looking substance began to ooze out his palm. It dripped to the floor, wisps fading away just before contacting with the concrete bellow. With an low shout Jacob threw what was in his hand away, launching the ball of ooze at the wall opposite him. His breathing heavy Jacob pushed himself to stand up, watching as a ball of shadow inhaled the air around it and sucked a set of posters off the wall. The result was a lanky and dog like creature, torn up posters mocking a skeleton with an intact reaper skull over it's head like a mask. With a snarl the thing turned to look at Jacob, a long tongue made of shadow rolling out it's slack jaw and running over it's eyes. Sensing the tinge of fear Jacob now felt a set of spines rose up off the thing's back, it giving a hungry snarl as it drew closer. The dog like shadow lunged, Jacob flinching as he felt the paper push into him and he opened his eyes to see the creature trying to maul him with claws and teeth it didn't really have. Finding the feelings he'd used to bring this thing into existence he grabbed hold of the strip of paper it used as a neck and yanked backwards, the shadow drifting apart as the paper skeleton fell to the ground. Still trying to regulate his breathing Jacob looked down at the shredded posters, letting go of the piece he held in his hand before grabbing his old jacket and walking out of Natasha's room. He wanted to find a quiet tunnel, somewhere to think and maybe rest his mind.
With his old hoodie under his arm, Jacob had opted to just follow Natasha and Nova back to where he'd found them. Though it was easy to dismiss Jacob had this odd sense of paranoia following him, and couldn't help but feel like the painted skulls were watching. Once they'd reached Natasha's room, the two of them had begun messing around on a somewhat large and well used laptop. The instant consensus between the two was watching a program but what to watch managed to be something they argued about. Unsure what to do, Jacob threw his old hoodie on the ground and took a seat against the tunnel wall, pushing his glasses up to rub his eyes. He was tired, and down here in the tunnels only made him feel more so but he didn't want to fall asleep. The two children had spoken highly of this 'Scorn' and Jacob figured he owed it to whoever it was to at least introduce himself since he was apparently now part of this organization. Though he thought he could hear people talking from somewhere down the tunnels, in reality there was only one other reaper down there with them and he didn't plan on staying for long. "What's your biggest fears?" Jacob asked absentmindedly, hardly aware he'd asked the question out loud.
Hey bob, If you want you can move Natasha and Nova around a bit, so Jacob can do something.
Oh alright. I was waiting for you since I didn't know if you were wanting to do something. I just knew you were probably waiting for Argetlam :P. Sure, I'll post :)
That sounds a bit better, Automaton, but you're missing the 'age' section of your app. As for the rest of it though I see it as a bit scant there's no real problems with it. It's up to Argetlam I guess :).
His attention apparently expected, Xeno stopped looking at his map for the time being and observed as the other foreign pokemon began introducing themselves. Putting two and two together, Xeno came to realize these were like the others he had found in what the Quagsire from early had called 'Allure Town'. The inside of the dwelling seemed to fit even if he still didn't know how he got there, and Xeno became a little more trusting. "My uh- name is Xeno," the sableye answered to the pichu, folding up his map as he watched a slimy looking pokemon approached where the two of them were. Filthy? the sableye thought briefly, looking down at his free hand then glancing at the hand that held his map. Where he'd touched it he'd left a few faint black smudges but not enough to really be 'filthy'. "They aren't as dirty as they look," Xeno commented a little absentmindedly, holding up his free hand to show what he meant. "Most of it doesn't come off at this point; it's more stain than filth," he continued to explain, his interest shifting to the two objects he'd lain on the floor. Putting down his Map Xeno grabbed the badge and gem, holding them up and asking, "Are these of importance?" It was odd having a proper conversation twice in one day, and Xeno couldn't help but feel a slight warmth like he'd used to back in his infancy. His presence didn't seem to agitate anyone like he'd been so used to and it was pleasant.
