That is actually an excellent question. I've tried where I and another play a 4 person student team by doubling up but it never really worked out. So at the moment I am picture more something along the lines of recently graduated hunters/esses working together on some mission thing and we can thicken the plot from there.

Alternatively instead of being a team of students we could play a pair. It could be a combination 'we had an odd number of students this year/we are trying a new teaching program' cause that's a thing that happens in actually schools like all the time? And from there we can deal with our characters dynamic of being an equal partnership with no leader ( exasperated perhaps by the fact that both characters have a strong personality and had expected to be the clear choice of the leader of what ever team they were put on. ) and put together a bigger more intense plot undercurrent for them to deal with.

But I am of course open to suggestions; did you have anything in mind?

Kelly finished up washing dirt off of his hands and knees and had got to splash water from the sink on his face. It was rather refreshing after hours of playing footie with the boys in the local park. The day had been hot and sunny for this time of year. A perfect day to go out and play in otherwords. But all day and all through the game he had been notable distracted. It had prompted him to excuse himself and head over to the local public restroom. A small single stall establishment, nothing fancy and honestly a little funny smelling as these public johns tended to be. But it was nice and pirvate and gave him solitude and quite to think about what was on his mind.

First had been that weird ass email. He had figured it was just some ribbing from one of his mates. Set up a fake weirdo email address and send him random spam and crap. He hadn't thought much of it...that was until that damn dream. The one that told him he was going to be some sort of magical girl. He got enough of that crap from his mates (Mostly good natured if annoying ) and from the local bullies ( Much less good natured ).

"Stupid dream..." He muttered as he splashed another handful of water to his face "The bloody teasing everyone is always giving me is finally start'n to get to my subconscious ." before mopping it dry with a towel and giving himself a good hard look in the mirror. Sure he wasn't the tallest bloke, nor was her particularly stout or sturdy. He had what his mother had said was a runners build. Not every lad had to be some rugby looking troll. You could be perfectly manly and have narrow shoulders, fair skin, and soft features. He sighed scratching his head. "Not much sense in worry about it. Was just a dream that was triggered by my wanker friends and their silly prank email. Nothing to get worked up about." he told himself as he finished cleaning himself off.

He turned to exit the single stall and in front of him, where the door out of the cramped little john was a different door than the one he had used to get in. At first he stared in dumb confusion but the details of the dream came back to him. A door way that would take him to the place here he would become a magical girl. He swore under his breath. "No way, this can't be happening." He grumbled. He began to bang on the door and yell for someone to come and open it from their side. Surely if that it wouldn't take him to where ever this door was meant to take him. But it seemed as if magically no one was able to hear what he was doing on this side of the door.

For a good bit he was simply pacing around in the small bathroom, trying to think of his options. Alas the only ones he could think of was to use the door or be stuck in this foal smelling john forever. With a deep breath he made his decision and opened the door. And found himself...well...somewhere. He was briefly disoriented by the wild change of scenery only to see a few people. All girls, a pair Japanese by the looks of them, and another one mixed Asian and something else like him.

"Oi, any of you birds know what's going on?" he said and bit more loudly than he probably meant.

Name: Kelly Long
Age: 14
Gender: Male ( though there are skeptics)
Appearance:Just a totally manly man, in the peak of his manliness. Nothing girly here...nope not at all.
Personality: Kelly is the child of a Irish woman and a Chinese man, who met in Spain of all places both on mutual business trips. After marriage the pair of them found a permeate place to live and work in England; where Kelly has born. Kelly has always had to deal with his fair appearance and as such it has given him a fiery and straight forward personality. While he is often thought of and described as petite, he prefers to think of himself as 'scrappy'. Often in the losing ends of scrap he started by over reacting to a comment someone else made about his appearance and name. That being said, the little bugger has a heart of gold and if he feels like he's genuinely in the wrong or seriously hurt another he'll do just about anything to make it up to them.

Mythical Creature: Foo Dog ( Or Gaudian Lion Dog )
Powers:
Foo Barrier: The foo dog is a guardian spirit, meant to ward off evil from homes and places of sanctuary. He can Raise a defensive barrier around himself in the form of a glowing blue aura. While it can stop physical attacks its defense there is limited and can only be held for a brief time against such attacks. It is especially effective at defending against curses or enchantments.
Foo Claw: In Magical 'Person' mode Kelly's left hand becomes animal like and is his greatest offensive weapon. From it he can use his 'Foo Claw' technique. He can summon glowing aura of energy around the hand that is reminiscent of Saint Elmo's Fire. He can toss it from his hand as a projectile or use it for a much more powerful up close blow.
Place of Power: Foo Dogs were said to draw their strength from the place they were bound to protect. To that end at the start of fight Kelly can summon a 3 foot tall obelisk from the ground that is reminiscent of a Chinese grave marker. The closer he is to this object the physically strong her becomes. Within 20 feet of the object and his strength is practically doubled, outside of 40 feet from the object and he is back to normal strength. If the item is destroyed by the foe it will result in a temporary drain on his abilities and for a short time he will be unable to use his Foo Barrier or Foo Claw

Ah man, that was the one I was going to do!!!!

Okay, Not really, but good choice! I'v been wanting to use a Gashadokuro for something and just hadn't had the inspiration or opportunity to implement anything.

Personally I'm stuck between giving a boy a banshi or a siren so they get a hella lady like trasformation to be all flustered and embarrased by, A tiny girl that is 'Oni with an Iron Club' themed, or to go way deep into the mythological creature bag for something super weird.

So when I was working on Bijou's fighting style and her character in general I was heavily inspired by Sara from Samurai Champloo. Who's fighting style I would call elegant and dance like using sweeping strikes, dance like twirls for momentum, thrusts, and terrifying crushing power. Originally I actually had Bijou with the same weapon as her but thought it would be to on the nose and that a Crows beak would better suit her french knight theme. Perhaps that is a better example of what I mean when I say 'dance like style'.

Given her defensive semblance I don't see the point in giving her a buckler? and while a shot gun does solve the accuracy issue of a blind character it is also one of the most destructive close range firearms one could possible have. If one has any worry about friendly fire being an issue giving the blind girl the shot gun seems to be counter productive to me. I much prefer the idea of the head being launched like a grappling hook like fashion and also having flail like application afterwards?

I tried to get her to work with a sword for months, but eh...it just doesn't suite her. Rapiers and dueling blades simple do not speak to character for me? IDK perhaps its a personal problem and I need to compactly over hall the character.

ANYWHO

Shall I just post Cinis's character sheet? Or are there any alterations you'd like me to make to her character before bringing her over?
