I also stated that patriarchy existed before, not like I pretend it's an old wives tale.I'm trying to convey that believing something exists or not isn't a matter of opinion, but rather a matter of perspective. Kind of like the creationism vs Darwinism, its all about how you perceive the world. Some people, like you, believe patriarchy exists because there was a patriarchy, and it still lingers in some areas of the world. Some believe patriarchy doesn't exist because, while it was present in our world, we have put the majority of it behind us.
