I dunno, just bringing time travel or alternate dimensions into this seems like a bit too much. I could imagine those kinds of elements coming in much later into the story or something, but it's a bit too weird to bring in right out of the gate. If you really want to have a character who is like a knight, you can always just make a character whose personality and abilities and stuff are knight themedWhere?

Actually, that was my first idea just make him valiant. A knight enthusiast.

And I will give you a hint: It starts with M and involves Nicholas Cage.
