People who make animes apparently don't bother with those limits.
I will say, Mayt isn't thinking like a Phoenix Wing member at the moment. He's honestly never had a real close connection to the guild, ever. He'll defend it to the death, sure, but he still doesn't act like he's from Phoenix Wing.
Also, I can only imagine EL-Jamie going off on Mayt when he hears what happened in Edolas.
