People can travel between Earthland and Edolas right? If so how long has that been going on?

No, they cannot freely travel between the two worlds. It's possible, but there's really only one (Two?) known anima to do so.

That's her deal, for me, I've only been in one guild and it wasn't a particularly nice one. Got the mark removed as soon as I left. So my experience with Guilds is a tad biased as well. Besides that, yes, Mithera is the black panther in the backyard. Tomorrow she'll be a wolf, if I remember right, and then a tiny little dragon that'll sit on your shoulder most likely. If you need to talk to her though, you're out of luck." She smiled a little, before looking back at the book, drumming her fingers.
