Let's Set Sail

Setting : Medieval, Little to no fantasy

Genres : Action, Adventures, and a little romance.

Warning : 18+ due to darker themes. Also likely taking place over PMs.

The kingdom of Crutha was known as the land of gold. Everyone in the kingdom seemed to thrive with unlimited resources and supplies. Even the lowly peasants appeared healthier and in better condition than those of other kingdoms. However, the brightest stars also have the darkest shadows.

Unknown to most and ignored by those who knew of it, the Crutha kingdom had set up a system of slavery on several islands near their coast. The slaves were often villagers from their own kingdom. It was a way of controlling both the population and obtaining resources. Every once in a while, they did take prisoners from rivaling countries but disguised the ships as pirate ships so that it wouldn't cause a war.

Our characters are slaves at one of the islands. Their time there can vary person to person but one thing is for certain, they are planning a revolution. The revolt will eventually succeed and when it does they will take over one of the ships. The freed slaves will now be deemed as unlawful pirates and we can work together to plan what happens from there on out.

Alrighty! Thanks for reading all of that! Hopefully that leaves a couple people interested. :) I'm looking to make this a 3 to 4 person rp. I don't want it to be a huge group since I'm generally not good at those and I figured this requires too many characters to be a 1x1 xD

- I'd prefer if everyone was able to rp at least 2 characters each since they will eventually be sort of a pirate crew :3

- 18+ themes. Gore, swearing, etc. Although, I'd prefer if we kept the sexual stuff implied rather than rp it out. You can always take it to a separate PM!

- Casual ~ For me, this means at least 2 paragraphs per character.

Penelope listened to Crow as he spoke about the law. She surveyed the area once to make sure it was no one but the two of them before she decided to reply. "Don't confuse the law for one person's greed." She told him in a hushed tone. While she didn't say much, it was clear that she didn't want to be deemed as a traitor if someone should over hear them. It was ok for someone like Crow to talk about the law and the king as such but for a knight, Penelope knew that her job meant she was suppose to hold her tongue and remain loyal.

She turned her head to look over at Crow and she smiled a little in amusement as he talked about how stealing was his way of making a difference, even if it was a small one. "This is going to sound strange but you sound like my father when you say that." She told him with a small laugh. She focused her gaze back ahead as they walked, her mind drifting to her family. "He won't say it or even acknowledge it in a conversation but I know he's not pleased with the state of the outer villages. He's a skilled knight, yet he chooses to work out here rather than in the castle." She explained.

A proud look gleamed in her eyes. "He told me once when I was little that he did it for the people. He was able to take a commanding role with the guard down in that village and while he might not have been able to do much, my father lessens the abuse of the villagers. He tries to remind his comrades that they are still loyal citizens and often tries to buy them a day or two more when taxing comes around." Penelope said.

The knight gave a soft sigh and looked over at Crow. "As knights, our loyalties lie with whomever holds the throne. It's just something you have to accept as part of the job. But, that doesn't mean we can't make our own choices. Even if they're just small ones." She told him. It was clear by the look in her gaze that it was something she believed passionately in. In fact, the words weren't even her own. They were her father's words when she had first decided to become a knight.

[Can You Hear Me? Over.]{MxF Plot}

Hello there and thanks for clicking! I'm Bee and I have this old plot of mine that I never got to try out. I've been craving it for a while so hopefully someone likes it. xD But before we get into the plot, here are some things to know about what I'm looking for and what you should expect!

- I tend to play females so naturally I prefer to play the female character in this plot. I am open to doubling though.

- 18+ please! It's post apocalyptic, there are going to be some dark themes. As for sexual stuff, I'd prefer to fade to black. Gore, swearing, etc are all ok though.

- High Casual. I'm trying to push myself to reply with about 5 paragraphs on average. So far I'm only at 3 so you'll have to bare with me sometimes.

- I'm on pretty often right now since it's summer, however, the fall semester starts soon. Once it does, I'll probably be replying every 2-3 days depending on both my school and work load.

- Romance. I love it as an undertone but I don't want it to take over the roleplay. This rp should focus on survival, character development, and some drama.

It's years into the future. After years of mass destruction and war, the earth is now quiet. Almost all of the world's population was killed in those brutal years and survivors are scattered far and wide but are very few. The buildings that remain now have moss, vines and other various foliage growing inside them as they slowly corrode away.
MC is a lone survivor. During her daily routine of scavenging for food and water, she happens to find a walkie-talkie of some sorts. It's in relatively good condition despite being old and worn down. With no better way to spend her free time alone, she takes it in and begins to attempt to fix it. After many days of scavenging for parts and tools, MC manages to restore the old radio. She turns it on and of course it's as she expected, nothing but static. However, she still leaves it on and carries it with her, like a memory of the past.
One day, while twisting the knobs out of boredom, it no longer becomes just static. Instead a voice comes over the radio. It's YC voice, whom for some reason, also has a working radio. Excited and shocked, the two communicate through the walkie talkies for a while before they decide to arrange a meeting in person.
For the first part of this roleplay, our characters will be purely communicating by voice only as they travel to some agreed upon meeting place. Problems and issues can occur along the way to both characters and other side characters(or villians) can be introduced.

This Is Victoria:

Victoria is a reaper of killers. This means that she was one human and was likely killed in a gruesome way. Her soul was too strong too become just another ghost yet it was also too corrupted for her to become an angel. Her purpose is to take the souls of those who aim to cause more deaths like her own and protect those who are innocent.

Her job is basically getting her own revenge. She isn't one to complain though and even finds herself to be a bit heroic. However, there is still one thing that constantly bugs her. It's the fact that she doesn't know who she used to be or how she died. All she knows is it was a gruesome death and that her first name is Victoria.

For now, Victoria still continues to work alone and protect the lives she deems as innocent. She's by no means a guardian angel and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty.
