Ashclan

The Territory

Before the fire, the two clans had made their home in a lush forest just far enough from most twolegs. The territory was previously split using one of the bigger streams of water as the main border. However, since the fire burnt a good majority of the forest, Ashclan now resides on the edge of Ravenclan’s old territory and what was previously known as rogue territory. This part of the forest was the least effected by the fire but sadly presents the threat of unhappy rogues. They now use the distant moor, where the forest begins to thin out, as a border between them and the rogues.

Cat’s Outside the Clans

In the dark of night, weary paws drag against the forest floor. A small group of cats travel in silence through their burnt home. Ash and soot stick cling to their pelts like glue. Each is weary and tired as they head towards the small green hills that remained untouched by the fire’s wrath. Finally a black and white tom halts. His fur begins to bristle in fury and he sinks his claws into the ground.

“This is so useless... Starclan has turned their backs on us and it’s all of Ravenclan’s fault!” He growled, eyeing a young tabby she-cat with hatred. The tabby whipped around and lashed her tail.

“How dare you! We wouldn’t have even been fighting if it wasn’t for Silverclan stealing prey! You mousebrain!” She snarled, unsheathing her claws. The two cats stalked closer and the others whispered anxiously.

“Enough!” Yowled a tortoiseshell she-cat. Her voice made the other cats freeze and she quickly placed herself between the two angry cats. “Fighting and pointing tails will solve nothing. Our clans are gone and we are all that remains.”

There was a brief silence before the hot-headed tom challenged the tortoiseshell she-cat. “So then what exactly do you think we should do?” He snorted in ridicule.

The she-cat raised her head and glanced at the other cats. “We carry on and build anew. Ravenclan and Silverclan are merely memories but we are still warriors. So we will create a new clan together.” She said. The she-cat paused eyeing the silent cats nervously. Murmurs of agreement and support raised the she-cat’s confidence once more.

“Our clan will be named Ashclan. For just like the ashes, we are what remains after the fire’s wrath.” She announced.

About the Roleplay

This is a Warrior cats based roleplay that has the same basic Warrior Code, Medicine, and outline of the clans but doesn’t involve cannon characters nor clans (aside from Starclan and the Dark Forest).

The roleplay will center around Ashclan. The clan was formed after the previous clans, Ravenclan and Silverclan, were destroyed. The two clans lost many lives due to their constant fighting and were eventually done in by a wildfire, leaving very few survivors. The few survivors ultimately grouped up and formed Ashclan.

Out of the survivors, there were no deputies or leaders. This caused a great deal of bickering amongst the group of who would lead them. Eventually they came to the decision that a cat named Duskfur would lead them. She was on of the few that seemed able to calm tempers and coordinate proper teamwork among the broken group.

The roleplay will take place about 1-2 months after the clan has formed. The clan will still be on rocky terms as past Ravenclan and Silverclan feuds have yet to be put to rest. There will also be an issue with Starclan’s silence even after their leader has received her nine lives. Some cats may even question if she truly got them.

The Rules

• Forum rules are my rules.
• No god-modding, mary sues, etc. No one’s perfect so make sure your character isn’t either c;
• Keep it somewhat realistic. For example, no powers or rainbow colored fur. Just think first series realistic and you should be fine.
• Be kind and courteous so that everyone can have a good time :D
• Make sure to ask permission before killing or badly wounding someone else’s character. I’d even recommend discussing the outcome of a fight before it ends.
• I have no limits on how many characters you make so long as you are able to roleplay them all.
• Since this is a Casual rp, I’m expecting 1-2 paragraphs on average.

Bee’s Buzzing Corner

Hello and welcome~! I’m Bee or Buzz or anything along those lines. The corner here will be used to keep track of what’s going on in the roleplay as well as future plans and other news as needed. This is my first time making a group roleplay on this site so just be warned, I might need some assistance in keeping this thing on track. Adding Co-GMs will come later and I realize now I probably should have done an interest check but oh well. Anyways, tips and suggestions are always appreciated! Now then, on to the other important stuff!

Current News:
- Starclan remains silent, causing worry and questionings of loyalty to the newly formed clan.
- Rogues threaten the clan’s borders.
- Duskstar has recently returned from receiving her 9 lives and still needs to name a deputy.

Ideas for the Future:
- The creation of another clan? Possible split of ideals or preference of territory.

Olivia watched him and heaved a sigh. “A pity.” She corrected crossing her arms over her chest. “It’s always the pretty ones that end up as criminals. Such a tragedy, don’t you think Penelope?” The knight casted a disappointed look towards Penelope, clearly catching her off guard. “What?” Penelope squeaked. Was Olivia truly looking at Crow in that way? It really shouldn’t have surprised her. Olivia had a record to chase after boy she deemed handsome enough, regardless of their background. Penelope paid little mind to it usually but something just felt wrong with her looking at Crow in that light.

“Anyways, where is your camp? William and Abraxas traveled with you correct? I should greet them as well.” Olivia mused, ignoring Penelope’s baffled expression. Penelope watched Olivia, seeming to snap out of her previous thoughts. “Olivia, why are you here anyways? I know it’s not just for a visit. That much is clear.” she asked in a serious tone.

Olivia blinked and turned around. She smiled sheepishly at Penelope. “True. I was sent here as back up. In case something went array and you needed aid. I’m guessing things are going fine though. You appeared quite relaxed earlier and Crow over there clearly hasn’t been killed by William after all.” She explained calmly. Olivia flashed a confident grin at the two. “Now I’m just here for company and a full report to the king. Now then, which way Penelope?”

Penelope smiled faintly back at Olivia. She supposed it was nice to have her drop. It had been a while since the two knights had last seen each other. “I see, well, follow me then. We’ve just barely started to set up.” She informed Olivia as she took the lead in heading back towards the camp. Penelope didn’t get much of a chance to speak with the other knight as she noticed Olivia hung back to walk closer to Crow. Penelope couldn’t help but feel a slight twinge of annoyance.
