Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope looked over as Crow returned to them. She gave a small nod of her head and began to step up to the stallion before she suddenly paused, an thought clearly passing through her mind. She turned back to Crow and took a step back. "Go ahead and get on the horse first. I'll sit behind you today." She insisted. "This way if we have to ride fast, you won't have to worry about your wound brushing against anything and reopening it." The knight figured it would be easier for him to simply hold onto the saddle rather than her at the moment. Plus after the attack from the day before, Penelope wanted them to be prepared to flee if they had to.

Once he was up on the horse, she climbed up behind. The one trouble was their height differences which made it a bit difficult for her to see around him and also direct the horse. It led her to pressing against his back as she reached around him to take the reins in her hand and peered over his shoulder so that she was able to see ahead. Though she did enjoy their closeness, it wasn't the most comfortable of positions for her but the knight preferred the discomfort over the risk of Crow's injury getting worse.

She gave the stallion a small kick and began to follow William as they set back out on the rode again. She pulled away one hand from the reins to adjust the hood of her cloak, making sure her face was hidden as they headed back down the road. At least Crow gave her more of an opportunity to hide her face away should they come across any nosy people or knights. She let out a soft sigh and rested her chin lightly on his shoulder as she looked out at the street ahead, finding the position a bit more comfortable. "Well I see why you're always tempted to fall asleep like this." She mused quietly.
Definitely cx And I imagine Gavin won't be too friendly with him either once Penelope gets back together with Crow

I'm good with two more nights too. I'm not really sure what else we could throw in at this point anyways.
Same XD Speaking of which I still need to finish Penelope's timeline dang xD
Penelope sighed a little as Crow tried to avoid getting up and turned her head to look over at William as the older knight stepped up besides her. She took a small step back to give William space to inspect Crow's injury. From a distant, she eyed it as well, feeling a bit uneasy at the sight of it. Penelope had had many wounds but never anything as bad as Crow's so even she felt a bit unsettled by it.

She was relieved to hear he was healing fine though and relaxed a little at William's words. She looked over at Crow as he stood up and nodded her head. "Alright." She agreed then leaned over to press a quick kiss to his cheek before he left to get the horses. She turned and grabbed her things before moving to join William as the two knights headed out of the room. "How's your arm?" Penelope asked her comrade as they walked down the hall.

William shrugged. "Nothing to be concerned about." He answered gruffly.

Penelope gave a small nod. "Well at least we'll be back in Brerra soon." She mumbled, side glancing over at the older knight.

William gave a small grunt of agreement as they reached the innkeeper. He handed over the keys and then the two knights headed outside to wait for Crow to get the horses. "Exactly what is your plan for when we get back, Penelope?" He asked, narrowing his gaze at the female knight.

"Finish the mission and hope for the best." She responded casually, clearly picking up that he was trying to figure out what she was planning with Crow. While William was more tolerable now, she definitely didn't want him learning about their actual plans.

"Even if the king had poor judgement, surely he wouldn't allow him to rise all the way to the status of nobility." He scoffed.

Penelope paused before letting out a soft sigh. "Maybe not... But we have to at least try." She said, lowering her voice with quiet determination. It was all an act of course, one William luckily seemed to buy. He snorted at her words and shook his head still disappointed in her decision. Luckily, William didn't seem to even consider that Penelope would be willing to leave behind her noble life for Crow. She shrugged her shoulders and looked ahead as they waited for Crow to reappear with the horses.
I'm looking forward to it too xD Gavin is a major rule follower but he's also trying to work to help change the rules and better the kingdom so I could see them eventually gaining a bit of respect for each other eventually lol

That sounds good! That was about what I was figuring was left before they reached the border. Geez we're getting so close XD
Penelope nodded her head in agreement before turning to head down the hall to the room. As they stepped inside and he let go of her hand, she walked off towards the remaining bed and sat down, proceeding to take off her boots as well before settling down for the night. She laid back on the bed and closed her eyes peacefully. After the day they had gone through, the knight was tired and the softness of the bed soon had her drifting off to sleep.

The next morning seemed to come all too soon. Penelope began to stir as faint morning light filtered in from the window. She opened her eyes and let out a sigh, reluctant to get out of bed. Finally summoning the energy, she sat up, wincing slightly as the movement stirred a dull ache in her body, reminding her of all that had happened the day before. Letting out a small grunt, she got up to her feet and glanced around the room at the other two. She debated waking Crow up for a moment, thinking about trying to give him more time to sleep but then heard William beginning to stir as well and decided he wouldn't get much of a chance now that William was waking up.

She turned and stepped over to Crow's bed lightly tapping his shoulder to wake him up. "Time to get up." She murmured.
I'll reply in a moment but I just did Gavin's personality quiz and it's perfect XD

He's an ESFJ! So he's just one off from being exactly the same as Penelope since he's a bit more social than her xD
Yeah xD

Ahh I need to look at that again now that you mention it xD
While her and Crow are kinda opposites, I'm thinking her and Gavin are actually kinda similar. They'll work good together and even develop some actual feelings towards each other but I imagine they might actually bore each other after a while. Especially for Penelope since Gavin is much more serious than Crow xD

Oh nice! I totally see that song fitting her when they meet up again.
As they reached the inn, Penelope dismounted the horse and headed into the inn with William while Crow handled hiding the bow and staff away for the night. The two knights stepped into the inn and Penelope got the room as usual. She made sure to ask for one with three beds and glanced towards William out of the corner of her eye, expecting him to look rather pleased about this new situation. However, his expression remained stoic. It seemed the older knight was a bit more compliant after having Crow save him, something which Penelope was admittedly thankful for.

While she was certain that William still greatly disapproved of their relationship, she was glad that he had at least seemed to develop some respect for Crow. She hoped that it would last them through the rest of their time together and not just for the day. She gave William the key to let him go ahead to the room while she hung back once again to wait for Crow. It wasn't long before the thief returned to the inn and she walked over to meet him halfway.

"Seems like we're back in the part of Younis where they're a bit more used to having travelers." She mused as she walked up to him. Penelope paused then pressed a deep kiss to his lips while being mindful of his wound as she shifted closer to him. She closed her eyes, finding comfort in his touch. Due to the chaos of the day and the fact that she wouldn't be able to share a bed with him, Penelope found herself determined to make the most of their time away from William, even if it was brief.

After a moment, she pulled away and moved to take his hand. "We should go. William's been a little bit more bearable and we should try to make that last as long as we can." She told him with a small smile.
I might have to give it a try xD

Honestly I'm not prepared either XD

Oh good thinking! Especially since we've got a war coming up cx

So my dad was listening to some of his music today and one of the songs I think really fit Gavin's point of view when he eventually finds out about Penelope and Crow XD
Penelope gave a small smile at Crow's words and nodded her head. Once he was up, she stepped over to the stallion with him and stood back slightly as he secured the staff and bow to the beast. She would have helped him but doubted that he would let her as she recalled how certain he was about being the only one able to hold the staff without getting killed. The knight paused for a moment to eye the staff before moving to mount the horse.

She helped Crow up onto the horse, keeping an eye on him to make sure he was able to make up safely onto the horse. Once he was seated behind her, the knight relaxed a little and maneuvered the horse to follow William as he lead the way down the street once more. Penelope smiled as Crow kissed her cheek and she looked over her shoulder at him as he spoke, giving a small shake of her head at his lopsided smirk.

At the mention of the attacks, she took on a more serious expression as well and let out a weary sigh. "I hope so.. At least when we get back to Brerra it'll be a little safer.. At least we're getting closer to reaching the border." Penelope mused. She prayed that they'd at least be able to avoid anymore attacks until they crossed over the border. Not only would that get Crow out of harms way but it also meant that her and William might be able to get additional help from local knights.

At his last words, she gave a small murmur of agreement. "Me too." She sighed, moving to rest a hand over one of his arms that was wrapped around her waist. "After all this, I'm hoping we can go at least a week without feeling like one of us might die." The knight frowned a little as she consider the various times when it had seemed they had come close to death. It made her become tense again, eying their surroundings in an overly cautious way before looking back ahead as they traveled. "It'll be nice.. To get away from all of this and just settle down." She added in a quiet, nearly dreamy tone. Despite the hardships they were likely to face upon being together, Penelope was still excited and greatly looking forward to simply being with Crow, away from the ties of the King and his mission.

Penelope eyed the sky. It would be growing dark soon so she hoped they'd be able to find an inn soon. She looked over her shoulder at Crow. "I'm wondering if we should get three beds tonight." She told him before going on to explain,"With that wound, it might be better for you to have a bed to yourself."
