Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope looked over at him with mild confusion as he slowed to a stop and moved in front of her. As he pulled her close,, her confusion faded into a smile as she leaned in to meet his lips and wrapped her arms around him. The knight looked up at him as he pulled back and assured her that she'd find a place amongst the outer villages. She gave a small nod of agreement, knowing she'd eventually figure out something to do. The thought of not being a knight was merely strange to her. After training and working as one for her whole life, the shift into a different career path would be a bit difficult.

“A-and maybe if you feel like you’ve done enough there… you could find purpose in your family… our family.”

Her eyes widened at his words with unbridled surprise. She felt her heart flutter, excited by the thought of them creating a family. It was strange how differently she looked at the idea of children and marriage when it came to her future with Crow. Before meeting him, she had been solely focused on her career with little care for the idea of marrying or having children. Largely because she had expected to either remain alone or be pushed into an arranged marriage, not truly caring about which it ended up being.

However, after meeting him, that changed greatly. It was difficult to imagine herself marrying anyone else. Even though she had come close to marrying Gavin, it had been an arrangement she was originally forced into, something that wasn't her choice. Crow, however, was her choice. The thought of marrying him and raising children together made her heart fill with warmth for the possibilities their future together held. It made her happy to know that he was thinking about it too. Penelope smiled up at him lovingly. "Gods I love you." She giggled before leaning up and kissing him deeply as she pressed into him.

After a moment, she pulled back and rest her forehead against his. The knight met his gaze and smiled. "I know I'll figure something out once the time comes." She mused in agreement with his words. Though she didn't believe she had done that much for her kingdom - especially considering her failure to prevent the war - she was grateful Crow seemed to think she had done well as a knight.

"It'll just take a while to get used to the idea of that changing." She told him with a shrug. She reached a hand up and lightly toyed with his hair as she averted her gaze off to the side, blushing a little. "And what you said earlier sounds pretty good too... Our family.. I mean." Penelope felt a little embarrassed by bringing up the topic again. It wasn't something they had really discussed before and was meant for the distant future, but the knight wanted him to know that she was having similar thoughts when it came to their future together.

Penelope let him go and took a small step back, her gaze shifting over to the camp before looking back over at Crow. "We should both get to bed soon. It's getting pretty late." She told him, quickly switching the subject to relieve herself from some of the bashfulness she felt.
Sorry that took me longer than I thought it would. I ended up crashing for a little cx

Penelope was too busy thinking about the consequences of leaving to be him she didn't really think about how life would work when she finally left cx
Penelope gave a reluctant nod as Crow said they should meet in a week. "Sounds good." She agreed. Though it made sense, the knight couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that they would have to go without seeing each other for a while. The feeling made her wonder how she had gone two years without seeing him. She glanced over at the thief, longing for the day when they could settle down together without any mission or war standing in their path. Though some things had changed, her desire for a future with him felt the same as it had two years ago. The knight shifted her gaze ahead, briefly thinking about how she had thought settling down with him was impossible after failing her mission.

The thought turned longing into determination to not repeat past mistakes. So long as I've got air in my lungs, I won't give up. She silently promised. However, the troubling reminder of his illness crossed her mind. Perhaps they could survive a war but could he survive his sickness? Penelope felt uneasy. Even if the herbalist was able find a cure, the knight worried it wouldn't be soon enough, especially if Crow kept pushing himself so he could continue to protect the villagers and his companions. She frowned a little. As soon as she handled her reappearance back at camp, she'd make sure to speak with a physician about working with Hazel as soon as she got the chance.

As they neared the camp, the knight let out a tired sigh. "I can't wait for this war to be over.." She muttered shaking her head. Her gaze eyed the empty camp ahead of them for a moment before looking back over at him. Pushing down the negative thoughts of what stood in their way, she smiled dreamily, focusing on being with him after the war. "We won't have to worry about the next battle or meeting again... I'm proud of my job but gods, I think after all of this I'll have done enough. I think I've already had my fill of fighting for the kingdom." She rolled her shoulders then casted him a teasing smirk.

"Fair warning, I might just become lazy and sleep most of the day." The knight paused, her smirk fading as she took on a more thoughtful look as she thought about what life would be like after the war. Though she knew she wanted to be with him, she hadn't thought much about the details, such as getting married, the possibility of children or what she would do after leaving behind her work as a knight. "It's going to be strange not being a knight though." She mused in a more serious tone.
True xD

Ok c:
Yeah, it is lol

He picked like the worst person so fall for then xD
Penelope finished getting dressed and turned to him as he stepped over to her and kissed her forehead. As he answered her, she gave an uncertain look as he tried to reassure her. "Well it's not exactly just a simple cough, Crow." She said with a small frown of worry as she looked up at him. The knight was worried he'd push himself too much and somehow make his condition worse. At his attempt to lift her spirits, she gave an amused smile at his words and rolled her eyes.

She was still worried about him but he seemed to be alright for now so she let the topic slide. However, Penelope still planned to be a little more cautious of his illness in the future. She leaned in to meet his lips as he kissed her. "Yeah, let's go." She told him, giving his hand a soft squeeze. Unfamiliar with the way they had come due to being blindfolded, she let Crow take the lead.

Following after him, the knight casted a glance back over her shoulder at the cliff before looking over at Crow. Despite her concern about his health and all the trouble they had been through, she was happy about the way the day had turned out. She was able to spend most of her day with him, making the trouble she would face returning to camp seem like a small price to pay. The thought made her wonder when they would be able to meet again. Between him losing the camp and her having to do damage control for being gone for so long, she doubted it would be anytime soon, making her heart sink slightly. It was difficult to only be able to see him for short periods of time, especially when the meetings were far apart.

Penelope let out a small sigh and pressed closer to him as they walked. "So when do you think we'll be able to meet again?" She asked him softly. "I figure it'll take a while for things to calm down at my camp.. Maybe around five or six days."
She's happy with that XD

Thanks xD I'm looking forward to my clock never changing lol

Yeah! c:

Penelope looked over at him as she laid besides him in the grass. She gave a breathless chuckle at his words. "I think we certainly made the best of a bad day." She agreed with a small smirk, blushing faintly. The knight held up the bandage blindfold in one hand, twirling it with her fingers. "Can't say I've done something like that before." She mused dazedly as she looked up at the object in her hand before placing it off to the side.

She turned, shifting closer to him, as she wrap an arm over him and rested her head against his chest. The knight closed her eyes, remaining pressed against his side. She was tempted to fall asleep right there, finding herself warm and comfortable in his embrace. However, she knew they likely couldn't risk staying out much longer. His companions would eventually return to camp and they needed to beat them back. She was also worried about his illness. After seeing him collapse earlier, the knight guessed that he needed as much rest as he could get.

At the thought of it, she frowned, feeling a growing mixture of worry and fear over his waning health. Penelope looked over at him and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "We should get going." She mumbled, shifting away from him to collect her clothes. The knight slipped her shirt back on over her head and glanced over her shoulder at him. The day had been long, filled with avoiding knights, traveling to the meet up point and them sneaking off to be together.

She felt her worry grow, wondering if it would have been wiser for them to just stay in camp and get rest rather than traveling to the lake and sleeping together. How stupid of me..The knight thought with a grimace. She had been so caught up in her desire to spend as much time with him as she could that she didn't consider the strain it might put him under. "How are you feeling?" She asked tentatively as she looked over at him.
No worries I was at work most of the day anyways cx
Yeah I agree! I'm good with fading out early

I think it did but it won't change until next year unfortunately

Sweet cx I should be free all day too unless my friends want to do anything that day
Penelope let out a content sigh as he pressed a kiss to her lips. Between the scenery in front of her and Crow besides her, the knight nearly felt like they were in their own world, far from the troubles they would eventually have to face again. Thoughts of war, illness, and their differing statuses were pushed to the back of her mind as she looked over at him. "I love you too." She mumbled, her eyes drifting to his lips desirously and leaned in to meet him in another kiss.

She met him with equal passion and moved to rest one hand against his cheek as they kissed. The knight barely noticed him shift them away from the cliff, a little too distracted by his touch as she willingly followed his lead. As he shifted in front of her, she wrapped her arms around him and grinned faintly as he gave her bottom lip a soft bite. While he kissed along her jaw, she moved one hand up to lightly run her fingers through his hair, shivering at the feeling of his lips against her skin.

Feeling him toying with the fastening of her dress, she traced her hands down his arms before beginning to loosen the ties of her shirt. She pulled back from him slightly to slip the fabric off before pressing back into him. Penelope met his lips in another passionate kiss before pulling back, flashing a small, mischievous smirk. Glancing over her shoulder, she made sure the ground was clear before clasping his tunic in her hand and giving him a small tug, pulling him down to the ground with her.

Penelope laid her head back to look up at him, finding her heart racing excitedly as she met his gaze. The knight smiled affectionately at him and pressed a few kisses to neck while she trailed her hands down to the hem of his tunic. "I'll never understand how I got so lucky meeting you." She murmured against his skin.
