Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope's excited too cx
Gavin's sulking a bit though lol
"Are you ready?" Penelope asked as she reached Gavin and Olivia. The other two knights were standing together waiting for her. Gavin was weighed down quite a bit with a couple bags of supplies while Olivia gazed tiredly ahead, likely still recovering from the amount she had to drink the night before.

Gavin nodded his head. "Yeah. Did you manage to get Mia's permission?" He asked.

"Yep! She wasn't thrilled about it but Tomas helped me convince her." Penelope informed him with a small shrug. "Here let me help you carry all that." She stepped over to the male knight and took one of the bags from him despite him being a bit reluctant to give it to her.

"Thanks." Gavin mumbled with a grateful nod.

"Do we have to leave so early?" Olivia groaned.

Penelope smirked. "It's not even that early. You just made the mistake of drinking last night." She shook her head.

Gavin sighed. "I guess we should head out now.. It's going to be a long trip."

Penelope eyed the male knight. Though he was being a bit quiet about it, she could tell he was dreading working with Crow again and for so long. She hoped that he would continue to keep it to himself though and made no comment on it. Instead, she nodded her head in agreement and followed behind him as the three knights began to make their way towards Whitebridge to meet up with Crow again.

---

It was a fairly quiet and quick walk. They didn't have to worry about patrols this time since Crow wasn't with them so the group was rather relaxed as they walked. Penelope spent most of the time chatting idly with Olivia to pass the time a bit faster. Gavin remained quiet for most of the walk, only occasionally jumpig into the conversation.

As they drew closer, Penelope felt her heart begin to race excitedly as she would soon be able to tell Crow that she was able to travel with him. She picked up her pace a bit, moving to walk a little ahead of Gavin now rather than following behind him. The thief soon came into view as the group reached the meeting spot and Penelope grinned as she approached him. "Well, looks like you're going to be stuck with us for the next few days." She announced as she stepped up to him.
Honestly xD

Sounds good!
The three knights traveled back to their camp without much issue. Though Gavin obviously wasn't thrilled that they'd still be working with Crow, he didn't protest against the plans Penelope had made and merely offered to grab the supplies while she spoke with Mia. Olivia, of course, seemed willing to go along with it and had little interest in the details. After catching the other two up on the plans, a comfortable silence fell over the three knights as they returned to their camp.

Penelope and Gavin made sure to help Olivia to her tent first. Once the other female knight was out of sight, the two parted as well and headed off to their own tents to settle down for the night.

---

The next morning, Penelope woke up early, mainly due to her growling stomach rather than anything else. The last she had eaten was the small portion she had for lunch and had ignored her hunger once they had returned to camp due to how tired she had felt from the long day. The knight got up and headed off to grab breakfast before she planned to speak with Mia. The camp was already bustling with activity. Ever since the raid, it seemed that most knights got a head start on the day, still scrambling to try and recover.

She grabbed a quick meal alone, since she didn't plan to meet up with Olivia and Gavin until later. The knight finished two bowls of the porridge that had been made—she usually didn't take more than one serving but hunger got the best of her this time— then set out to speak with Mia. She hoped that she would be able to convince her baroness to let her leave camp for a few days. The thought of it again made her heart flutter with the excitement of being with Crow for so long. Feeling renewed determination, she stepped into the baroness' tent.

Mia was speaking with Tomas when Penelope entered. Their conversation died down as Mia looked over to see Penelope. "Ah there you are. I was wondering where you've been.. You must have had a long patrol."

"I did." Penelope nodded.

"I bet. Layth mentioned something about you chasing a lead up in Whitebridge. Did you find anything?" Tomas asked eagerly.

Penelope shifted a bit and met Mia's gaze. "That's actually what I'm here to speak with you about... Yesterday, in Whitebridge, a peasant had some information about spotting the thieves down in Aramoor before he left to travel up to Whitebridge. I know that was a while ago considering how far apart the two villages are but I think there's still a good chance they're down there or that we can find a better sense of where they went if we talk to the villagers in Aramoor."

Mia paused, exchanging a glance with Tomas before looking back at Penelope. "That's the most information we've gotten from a patrol so I agree that it would be worth to check it out. We'll have to send a patrol down there."

"About that.." Penelope gave a sheepish smile. "I'd like to take the patrol I took yesterday down there."

"You?" Mia frowned. "Penelope, I'm glad you had an effective patrol but you're still a lieutenant and the camp needs you to help us recover around here too.. That's a long time for you to be gone."

"I know but can we really trust anyone else?" Penelope countered. "All of the patrols the other day failed to find any lead whatsoever and my mine did. Olivia, Gavin and I know how to work with peasants so that we can catch these thieves. If we let someone else handle it, there's a good chance they'll let this lead slip through their hands."

Mia pursed her lips together, still looking reluctant to agree. Penelope grew a bit tense with worry as she held Mia's uncertain gaze. It seemed that the baroness was still against sending her even despite the argument she had given. Tomas glanced at the two women before turning to Mia. "I can deal with a bit more work for a few days." he said offering a kind smile. "I say let her go. She's probably right in guessing most can't handle this very well if they have to work with peasants.. Layth and few others were already making a big fuss about her getting information from them."

The baroness look over at Tomas and then shifted her gaze back to Penelope before giving a long sigh. "I suppose you might be right.... Alright, Penelope. You can go. Make sure you're well prepared for the trip and most importantly, be careful."

"Thank you, Mia." Penelope said gratefully as a wave of relief washed over her as the baroness finally agreed. She dipped her head to the two before quickly slipping out of the tent. Now that she had gotten the approval, it was time to meet up with Gavin and Olivia so they could leave soon.
Man, Gavin's going to cry out of joy when he thinks he was right about Crow xD
Her gaze softened and she returned his smile at warm words. Her smile faded a bit as he pointed out that they would need to be parting ways. Penelope glanced ahead at the other two knights, knowing that it was probably best for them to part now since Gavin likely needed help dealing with Olivia. She imagined that his patience was wearing thin after all that had occurred. Slowing down besides Crow, she turned to him and nodded her head. "That should work." She agreed.

Penelope smiled up at him and slowed to a stop again so she could kiss him again, this time lingering around longer. As she pulled back, she met his gaze and gave a small grin. "I'll see you tomorrow. And with any luck, we won't have to part again for a few days." She couldn't help but be excited by the chance to travel with him for a few days since it meant they wouldn't have to separate for a while, even though they'd be looking for dangerous enemies and have the company of the other two knights. Having already been on a dangerous mission with him before, Penelope knew very well that they'd still be able to make the most of the time they'd have together. Provided him and Gavin could keep from clashing again.

"I love you and I'll see you tomorrow." she told him before pressing a kiss to his cheek. Having said her goodbye,, she reluctantly stepped away from him and turned to catch up with her comrades. She noticed that Gavin had slowed his pace slightly and was occasionally glancing over his shoulder, likely checking on her. At his side was Olivia, whom she could tell the male knight was trying to keep a careful eye on despite being a bit distracted. Penelope picked up her pace slightly and came up besides Olivia.

"How's she been so far?" she asked him as she eyed her friend.

Olivia looked at Penelope and crossed her arms. "Oh pleassssee. I'm not tha drunk."

"You're drunk enough." Gavin grumbled, still clearly in a foul mood.

The other female knight ignored him and turned to Penelope with a curious look. "So where'd lover boy go?"

"He's leaving to go set up camp for the night." she told her with a shrug. "It's just us now... But we'll have to meet him midday tomorrow."

Gavin turned to look over at her with a frown. "We're still working with him?" he questioned and shook his head. "You saw how he was back there and he lead us to a dead end anyways. Penelope I think it's time we work on our own. He's probably-"

"What he did back there was wrong and he realizes that." Penelope assured the male knight, meeting his gaze. "And I'm thankful that you stopped before the situation got even more out of hand, Gavin, but you also need to stop accusing him so much. He's not working against us and he's the best chance we have of catching the actual criminals that attacked our camp." She paused and shifted her gaze ahead. "I'm not saying you have to trust him or even get along with him but just stop trying shift the blame onto him. We'll be able to avoid more trouble that way."

Gavin fell quiet and shifted his gaze to the ground in thought. Penelope waited a moment longer for an answer but as one never came, she decided to go on to fill in the other two about the upcoming plans to travel to Aramoor and get permission from Mia for the long trip.

Luckily I think she will be xD
what Crow's really going to need to learn by the end of this mission is communication XD
Penelope frowned a little as Crow pointed out that the plan wasn't that great as well as the fact that it was unlikely they'd be able to recover any of the stolen supplies. While she had already suspected that they won't, hearing it come from him seemed to make her have to accept it as reality just a little more. However, that didn't make her determination to find them waver. She still had to make sure that they weren't able to strike again. The image of Millicent flashed through her mind and the knight tensed slightly at the thought of such a strike happening again.

She was pulled out of her thoughts as Crow pulled her closer. Finding his presence comforting, she leaned into him. "I'm not sure.." she admitted, thinking over how to go about getting approval to leave for so long. The knights didn't often stray too far from the camp and rarely were any allowed to leave for days at a time aside from scouts or spies that were meant to keep track of Younis. She could always leave without their permission but that would be rather risky, especially after seeing how Mia reacted to her disappearing for just one day before.

"If I can convince my baroness that I have a strong lead that the thieves are in Aramoor, I might be able to." she told him as she thought the situation over more. "That last attack was brutal and I think everyone's desperate to get revenge, even some of the more level-headed knights so it shouldn't be too hard.. I just have to make sure she sends me and those two rather than anyone else."

Penelope smirked a little bit as an idea came to mind. "It might even be a good thing that we ran into Layth today. I'm sure he'll be quick to spread that I got my lead from a peasant so many will probably dismiss it or believe it's not good enough. Which means she'll be less likely to try and send a different patrol." It would also likely keep her uncle and Bennet uninterested in her business, leaving only Mia as the main person she had to convince.

She looked up at Crow determinedly. "I'll figure it out somehow. This is the best plan we have and I'm not going to let them get away with what they did to my comrades."
Poor Crow xD even though he did mess up lol
And Penelope's actually more experienced than him now xD
Penelope let out a long sigh as he apologized. She was glad that he seemed to realize the fault in his actions, which allowed her frustration to die down. The knight paused before moving to grab his arm, slowing to a stop. The other two were farther ahead but with Olivia drunk, she doubted they would fall behind very much if they stopped for a moment. "Thank you." she sighed. "I know I can't convince him or change his mind but I plan to talk with Gavin too.. At least to try and get him to relax a bit more. I'm not sure how much will change there though."

She frowned and shook her head, doubtful there was much more she could say to the male knight to get him to be a bit more cooperative with Crow, especially after what had occurred. However, if he insisted on working with them, he would have to try to change a bit as well. Penelope looked up at Crow and pressed a quick kiss to his lips before pulling back to meet his gaze with stern affection. "Just remember I'm not going to get caught up in whatever he's saying about you. His accusations may be annoying but they won't be effective." she told him firmly, thinking that Crow was bothered by how Gavin continued to accusing him of being untrustworthy and trying to get her to side with him.

Penelope turned and began to walk on so they wouldn't fall too far behind the others. This time she stayed close to Crow though, not taking off like she had done when they left the tavern. Her gaze shifted up to the darkening sky before looking back to the thief. "We'll have to be heading back to our camp soon.. It seems Whitebridge was a bust so I'm assuming our next move for tomorrow is to head to check out Aramoor right?" she asked him, wanting to focus back on the mission now that everyone seemed to be calming down from what had happened.
