Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope frowned slightly as Gavin denied her attempt to switch groups. It seemed that the male knight was hellbent on, not only separating the two female knights from the thieves, but also keeping Crow nearby him. She had caught on that he was acting rather suspicious of the thief, perhaps even a bit more than usual, which confused her since she didn't think there was any reason for his distrust of the thief to suddenly increase. Perhaps he was just paranoid because of how late they had woken up.

She let out a soft sigh as Gavin moved to take the lead of the first group before turning to look over at Crow. "I have a feeling it's going to be a long day for both of us...Good luck." she mumbled to him then turned her attention to the other two thieves. Alistair clearly wasn't sure what to think of this new arrangement while Rikki eyed her. The female thief didn't seem overly pleased about the situation either but the faint smirk on her lips was enough to put Penelope on guard.

"Well, looks like I'm with you guys today." Penelope said, offering a small smile. Though she wasn't thrilled about the situation, she at least wanted to try and make sure things ran smoothly.

"Yeah.." Alistair agreed, scratching the back of his head awkwardly before exchanging a glance with Rikki.

Rikki paused then crossed her arms. "Sorry, I'm confused again. I thought you were the one that outranked him." she said with a nod towards Gavin. "Or does being your 'friend' give him special privileges?"

Penelope rolled her eyes at the accusation. It seemed Rikki still hadn't completely dropped that argument, nor her assumptions about her relationship with Gavin. "I just see no reason to fight with him on every decision is all. He's convinced you guys are the main threat so maybe working with Crow a little more will make him see that you're not." she shrugged her shoulders and turned to begin their walk towards the town. "Regardless we still have work to do."

"Ah so now you choose to take the lead huh?" Rikki questioned her with a smirk.

"If you want to lead go ahead." Penelope said stopping to looking over at Rikki. She held the thief's gaze and gestured for her to pass her. "I just want to track this bastard down. I don't care about who leads who so long as it gets done." she stated sternly.
Rikki shrugged her shoulders. "No need to get all worked up again. I was just saying." she mused as she moved to follow the knight. Alistair followed the two with a small smirk, nearly seeming a bit entertained.

Penelope let out a heavy exhale. She had a sinking feeling it would be difficult working with them as Rikki was clearly still trying to get under her skin while Alistair was clearly not going to make any efforts to make the situation better. At least he's not making it worse.. she thought as she focused her gaze ahead.
Gavin's trying to keep an eye on Crow xD

It's cuz it was a limo my friend's kinda rich so his mom got us a limo for prom lol and I guess they were looking for a getaway car? lol the driver was just like 'yall crazy' xD

That sounds amazing honestly lol

Ok c:
Penelope rose up to her feet after waking Crow up. She stretched out her limbs, trying to jog herself further awake as she still felt a bit drowsy. She watched as Crow headed off to wake up his comrades before she walked over to join Gavin and Olivia. The male knight crossed his arms as he stood over her with his arms crossed. "Do you know how long you were asleep for?" he asked her.

Olivia shrugged her shoulders and slowly stood up. "Not really." she yawned. "I just remember it getting harder to stay awake so I figured I could sit down for little while and rest my eyes.. guess I fell asleep instead."

Gavin gave a small nod to her words before casting a subtle glance towards Crow again. "Well we need to get moving now. We've already wasted enough time." he sighed. He gave a displeased look as the thief joined them and shifted his gaze over to Penelope. "I still say we should leave in smaller groups. Plus if we separate, we'll be able to cover more ground faster."

"Works for me." Penelope said with a small shrug.

"Good, then let's split up in threes." Gavin announced and paused for a moment as he glanced over the group. "I'll go with Olivia and you, thief." he narrowed his gaze on Crow then looked back to the female knight. "Penelope you can accompany the other two."

"What?" Penelope blinked, surprised by Gavin's choice of pairing. She was certain he was going to split up the group based on knights and thieves. This was much worse than she expected since it would mean that she would not only be working away from Crow but she'd also be working with Rikki. After how the other day had went, the thought of having to spend most of the day with the female thief didn't sit well with her. "Now hold on Gavin, maybe me and Olivia should switch." she suggested.

"Yeah, I'd be ok with that." Olivia piped up as she glanced towards Alistair.

"You'll just end up getting distracted." Gavin snorted at her then looked back to Penelope. His gaze softened a bit pleadingly. "If we split up like this I think we'll have more success.." He said then shifted his gaze to Crow challengingly. "Unless you have a problem with working with me, thief?"
Yay Hartley's back xD

Makes sense cx
My cat does that too lol

Well that's good then lol

It was definitely crazy XD And dang! That reminds me of my prom night lmao
We went to a restaurant in SD and like as soon as we got there three people came running out and tried to get in our car and then some other guys (workers from the restaurant I think) just popped up and tackled them to the ground.
Then later while we were eating a cop came by to ask us questions about what happened so that was fun lol my friend even got a picture with him xD
Penelope chuckled and rolled her eyes at him as he insisted on carrying her back to camp. As they finally reached the clearing and he placed her down, she let go of him and began to make her way over to the bed. The knight didn't hesitate to lay down, finding herself rather exhausted. She returned his smile and leaned in to meet his lips at he kissed her one more time. "Goodnight Crow." she mumbled before laying her head back down and closing her eyes.

It didn't take long for the knight to drift back to sleep. She was already tired and got comfortable easily on the bedroll. Penelope fell into a peaceful and dreamless sleep without any trouble.

---

"Penelope. Penelope wake up."

The female knight jumped slightly at the urgency in the voice trying to wake her. She had been sleeping rather deeply again so she automatically grew worried that she was missing something important. Penelope quickly sat up, blinking her eyes open as she looked up to see Gavin leaning over her with a worried expression.

"What's going on?" she asked him as she rubbed her eyes.

"We overslept." he responded with a frown. She noticed his gaze narrow distrustfully at Crow besides her before focusing back to her. "Olivia fell asleep on her watch and I just barely woke up."

Penelope blinked in unbridled surprise at his words. She looked past him towards where Olivia was slumped against a tree. She was awake up it was clear to Penelope that she was struggling to fully wake up. It was strange since-though Olivia wasn't the most diligent of knights-she usually never fell asleep during her guard duty. Not to mention how out of character it was for Gavin to sleep in so late. The male knight was usually always up early. The day's past journey must have taken more energy out of the group than she had previously thought.

"We better get the others up too then." she said nodding to the other thieves. She turned to Crow besides her and gave him shoulder a soft shake. "Hey time to get up."
It really is xD

Both! I lean more towards cats just because I appreciate how quiet they usually are when they're not tearing something up cx but I love dogs too!

Omg you've had some wild experiences xD I love that he just walked out like that lmao what a legend
I can't say any of my stories are like that most of them are pretty tame and didn't happen directly to me lol I guess I usually avoid that trouble somehow

Like one time I had just started my break, like literally just got to the break room at the very back, and one of the cashiers was paging me to come back up front. So I went ahead and went back to see what was going on, thinking maybe they wanted me to wait a little longer before I left or something, and it turns out that a fight had started lol

Some angry customer started knocking over displays and my manager and another cashier had escorted her outside of the building and when they did she started punching at them I guess. Idk exactly what happened-I ended up on the register during all of this because the cashier had left and that's why they called me up XD-but my manager came back with like a swollen cheek and the cashier had a couple bruises on her arm. Then the police came back later to see if they wanted to file charges or anything but they didn't because my manager just wanted everything to be over with
Penelope looked up at him as he reassured her about taking over her watch. She gave a small chuckle at his words. "Good to know." she said with amusement as she remembered their past journey together and how he usually struggled to stay awake. It was also a little relieving to find out that she wouldn't have to be worried about him potentially falling asleep too. After all, she was sure that would only cause issues in the morning since Gavin was usually the first to wake.

She was pulled out of her thoughts as she noticed the playful gleam in his gaze as he pulled back from her. Before she had a chance to react, he suddenly swept her off of her feet and up into his arms. Caught off guard, Penelope gave a surprised look and quickly wrapped her arms around him to stabilize herself. She turned to him and rolled her eyes with a laugh as he winked at her.

"Alright show off, I get it," she teased and pressed a playful kiss to his cheek. "you're awake." She chuckled and smirked up at him. "You can put me down now."

Poor Penelope doesn't realize it's more of a convenience than an inconvenience XD

I don't blame him lol
I applied at a cat cafe that's opening up near me so I could just take care of cats and deal with less people cx

And oh my god. I'm so glad I don't work in retail. Like the people that come into grocery stores are bad enough but that just sounds like a whole new level of crazy XD I can't believe someone would even think that was like an ok thing to do like what the hell? xD

I just get people acting like I can magically change the rules/prices or make whatever product we're missing suddenly appear lol

And really? I'm up for hearing it lol
Comfortable in his warm embrace, the knight could already feel her drowsiness beginning to set in again. It seemed she had underestimated how tired she had really been and instead of waking her up more, being with the thief seemed to have only worn her out further. She was a bit surprised that she found herself nearly fighting to stay awake, usually she was able to handle her weariness better than this.

As he pulled away from her, she looked up at him and nodded her head in agreement with his words. "Yeah, we should get back." she agreed, stifling a yawn as she forced herself to sit up as well. She reached and grabbed her clothing from the ground nearby before turning to look over at Crow as he spoke up again. She hesitated as he offered to take her shift again, still feeling a bit guilty about making him stay up for her. However, this time the knight couldn't help but think it might be the safer option. With the way she was currently feeling, there was a good chance she'd fall asleep on the shift anyways.

"Well.. If you're sure it's not any trouble," Penelope said slowly as she looked over at him. "it might be better for you to cover my guard shift. I'm honestly not sure how much longer I can stay awake." She gave a sheepish smile and then stood up to slip her clothing back on. She rolled her shoulders and then turned back to Crow to met his gaze. "If you get tired though, just wake me up and I can switch out with you so you don't have to do the whole shift." she told him, before leaning over to press a kiss to his cheek.
Right xD I went ahead and threw it in

Yeah lol I'm pretty sure that's the case too so we'll see how it goes xD
I firmly believe some customers just aren't even humans sometimes XD The lack of common sense or any sense of manners is just lost half of the time plus I'm an introvert so like not a people-person to begin with really XD
