Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Oh true cx honestly I feel bad for them already lol

I was kinda thinking of that myself actually xD I'd be up for her teaching him some things
"Damned thieves! Damned Younisian curs!"

Penelope watched her brother as he gritted his teeth together while Jane poured a bit of alcohol over his still healing wound to keep it from getting infected. It was now nearly sundown and she had finished with her work for the day. The knight was tired and eager to get some supper before turning in for the night, however, first she wanted to check to see how her brother was doing. She had only spoken to him a small bit when she had first returned from Wheldrake with the other three.

"Oh would you hush up already?" Jane sighed tiredly. The normally kind and friendly healer seemed drained after having to care for her injured comrades. "I swear you men cry more than women in labor half the time."

"Would you just hurry up?" Layth grumbled in a defensive voice, looking slightly embarrassed. His gaze finally caught sight of Penelope and he gave a quick snort. "What are you here for?" he grumbled.

"Just checking to make sure you're not giving Jane here too hard of a time." Penelope responded with a smirk. She walked further into the tent to stand besides the other two and eyed the gash on his side. Though she was no medical expert, she assumed that it was healing alright. It was difficult to tell since she didn't notice much change in the stitches. She lifted her gaze back up to Layth and let out a small sigh. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine." he insisted gruffly. "The faster this heals the sooner I can hunt down those bastards that stole our supplies."

"Yeah well that's going to take a while so don't go doing anything rash." Jane said as she began to wrap bandages around his wound.

Penelope nodded her head in agreement. "She's right. Besides, right now we need to focus more on damage control and preparing for the next battle... and healing so you can even fight in it."

"I'm aware." Layth growled. He let his shirt fall back down as Jane finished bandaging up his wound and gave her grumble of thanks before he moved to take a step towards the exit. "But that won't matter if they steal all of our supplies again."

The female knight frowned a little at his words. Usually she didn't agree with her brother and his worry over the thieves but this time was different. After all, they were talking about a whole different group of thieves, even if Layth wasn't aware of that yet. She gave a small nod and moved to follow her brother out of the tent as he walked on, slowed down by his injury. "That's true.. if we can't catch them before the new supplies get here, then we're just going to have to be extra cautious."

Layth gave a small grunt of agreement then shifted his gaze over to Penelope. "I'll figure it out. Now leave me alone. I want to get some sleep.." he grumbled as he walked off towards his tent.

Penelope rolled her eyes at her brother's foul mood. It seemed to have gotten worse due to his injury, if that was even possible. She let out a soft sigh and trotted off to grab some supper before she retired for the night.
Nice xD

I'm excited too cx Part of it is Gavin's family who I figured may eventually pop up/run into them at some point xD
also I just realized that Gavin's family kinda has that Weasley Harry Potter vibe lol bunch of kids and gingers
The next day Penelope was up early despite her late night out and set to work on helping her comrades in getting the camp back to normal. For the majority of the morning, she spent her time with Tomas as he and a small group of knights did inventory. The battle had been rather harsh and quite a few weapons had been damaged in the process. Usually they would replace them right away with new ones but since they were low on supplies, they had to be more careful with what they replaced. A sword with a scratch or small chip would likely have to wait until they received new supplies while more broken ones were tossed out right away.

"I think we finally finished it.. Only took us three days." Tomas sighed as he held up half of a sword.

"We had a lot to cover and this was only a small part of it." Penelope reminded him with a small shrug. She held out the sack they had for the broken weapons and let the older lieutenant toss it in before she tied it close.

"I suppose you're right." Tomas mused. He glanced around the tent with a tired gaze. "I just hope the supplies get here soon."

"Has Mia mentioned anything about them coming in?"

"I believe she got a letter saying that our request had been received by the king but now it's just a waiting game. It'll probably be another week or so before the supplies actually get here." Tomas told her.

Penelope nodded her head, a bit relieved to hear that they wouldn't have to wait too much longer. "That's not bad.. Younis likely won't even be able to recover that quickly so we still have a chance to keep things from turning in their favor." she said. So long as Jaxon doesn't strike again beforehand.. she thought uneasily. Suddenly wanting to change the subject, she shifted her gaze towards the exit. "Anyways, what's next?" she asked, wanting to move on to their next task.

"Let's report to the barons that this is done. Then maybe we can start helping out at other spots of the camp." Tomas answered her. He turned and began to walk out of the tent and Penelope followed quietly behind him.
Oh dang xD that's crazy that it has that many minor characters lol
although I've been lowkey planning out quite a few for ours for when Crow and Penelope go into the inner kingdom xD

Ok cool c: I'll probably be on quite a bit since I don't work until monday lol
"You too." Penelope replied as he told her to be safe. She leaned in to meet his lips for a parting kiss before turning to head off towards her camp. She let out a small sigh as she walked, glancing back once over her shoulder towards where Crow had left. The knight wished she could have stayed out a bit later like usual but knew she needed to get back to camp so she picked up her pace slightly as she focused her gaze back ahead.

--

It wasn't long before she reached the knight's camp, however, she hesitated at the edge of the forest as her gaze landed on Gavin. She had been thinking about how to approach him during her return. Knowing how paranoid the male knight was with Crow, she figured it was best to face him right away and explain the situation as Crow had. Though, she wasn't quite sure how well he would take it given how certain he was about Crow meeting with Jaxon. She inhaled quietly before moving out of the forest and into view as she walked towards Gavin.

The male knight spotted her quickly and perked up upon seeing her returning to camp. "You're back. How did it go?" he asked studying her gaze. He frowned slightly. "You did confront him about it right?"

"I did." she said with a small nod. She paused and then let out a soft exhale. "Gavin, I think you just jumped to conclusions when you saw him meeting with that man. He told me it was just someone with a possible lead to Jaxon."

"And you believe him? Penelope, I told you he was going to lie to you." Gavin said with a hint of frustration seeping into his voice.

"I know. But I think his story checks out. I asked him about the threats and all but it just seemed to be a moment of poor choice on his part." Penelope explained shaking her head. "He even talked about the man telling him about a lead up in Black Hollow."

"Bull shit." Gavin growled quietly. "He's lying to you, Penelope. I didn't hear one mention of Black Hollow or any lead."

"You barely heard anything at all." Penelope retorted as she crossed her arms.

"Well what I did hear doesn't match up with that at all. He mentioned a 'suspicious knight' which I can only assume was me and what about the alliance I talked about?" Gavin argued.

Penelope rolled her eyes as Gavin went on, even adding new information. "Gavin, they were probably just talking about them working together because of the lead and a suspicious knight doesn't mean you. Can you just drop this already?"

Gavin clenched his jaw and shook his head. He looked ready to argue further but hesitated. "What if I can prove I'm right?"

"And how would you do that?" she questioned raising an eyebrow at him.

"They mentioned something about a week. So in about five days something should happen.. I think either another meeting or a raid. Will you believe me then?" he asked hopefully.

Penelope pursed her lips together, getting a bit annoyed with how certain he was that Crow had been meeting with Jaxon. "Enough Gavin." she muttered. "It's getting late and I'm tired. Nothing is going to happen."

"But Penelope-"

"Goodnight Gavin." She said curtly before walking off towards her tent to settle down for the night.
Sorry it's taking me so long to reply! I got a little bit of writers block for some unknown reason and then I got busy with friends lol I'll try to get my reply up sometime tonight but if not, tomorrow for sure :D
Makes sense xD

I just got back from work so there's a small chance of me taking a nap soon xD
Penelope sighed serenely as he began to press a few kisses along the side of her neck. She was enjoying the feeling of his lips on her skin again until he stopped to try and change the number of days before their next meeting. The knight was a bit hesitant to change it, given that she wasn't so certain she could make it in four days. However, as he kissed her deeply, she already began to be swayed by his words. Surely it wouldn't be too harmful to meet him just a day earlier than she was already planning.

At his flirtatious words, the knight smiled at him and gave a soft giggle. "Alright you win." Her gaze studied his for moment and she brushed a strand of hair back from his face as she felt a swell of affection for the thief. "It's hard to say no when you say it like that." she murmured with a coy smirk as she leaned in slightly to teasingly brush her lips against his before pressing in with a tender kiss.

After a moment, she pulled back and let out a small sigh, feeling reluctant to move from his arms. She wished she could stay out longer but knew that likely would be wise as there was much to do and she needed to be prepared. It was going to be difficult to go back to their normal meetings. The thought of seeing him in four days nearly made her want to find a way to accompany him on a trip to Black Hollow. However, that wasn't possible at the moment. "I should get going before it gets any later." she mumbled and pressed a kiss to his cheek before letting him go and moving to step out of his embrace. "I love you and I'll see you in four days."
Same x3 they're such a mess right now

I wasn't sure if we were planning to have them meet before the big reveal but I figured Penelope probably wouldn't be able to get away from camp too soon. It's up to you though! I'm good with them meeting up maybe one more time if you want c: Crow could probably convince her to meet a little sooner so it doesn't overlap with him meeting Jaxon cx

Oh dang lol
