Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope noticed Rikki had a difficult time meeting her gaze and even seemed to hesitate before replying. It seemed whatever blind relief the female thief had had over hearing Crow was still alive was beginning to wear off. Luckily that didn't seem to get in the way of her letting the knights help them though. As she gestured over to the other two thieves, Penelope nodded her head and wasted no time in beginning to walk over to them to avoid lingering around Rikki.

"Wow.. I think she might dislike you even more than before." Olivia snickered under her breath as she moved up besides Penelope. "I would have thought you bringing the news would have changed her tune at least a little."

Penelope shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah well.. It doesn't matter. Come on, let's help them."

The female knight walked over to Hartley's side while she noticed Olivia swing around to join Alistair. Hartley turned to her with a friendly smile and Penelope found herself glad to have him there for company. She moved to begin helping him crush up the herbs and struck up a conversation with the young thief, which was rather easy to do since there was plenty to speak about after having been apart since he had reunited with Kip. The thought of it made her heart swell with affection as she was reminded that it was around then that she and Crow had first admitted their feelings for each other. She let out a small sigh as with it she felt another pang of longing to be at his side again.

"Sooo can we catch up now?" Hartley asked hopefully, disrupting her thoughts. "I want to know all about what happened at the castle. Oh and after too!"

"As long as you can multitask I don't see a problem with it." Penelope said with a hint of amusement. She paused and eyed the others nearby before lowering her voice. "But.. We've got to be quiet.. I'm not sure how much everyone here knows about Crow's past... And aside from that, I'm not sure how much I want them to know either."

Hartley frowned. "But they're his friends, aren't they?"

"Yes but everyone has their secrets." Penelope mused softly with a shrug.

"I guess... I'll be quiet and I won't say anything then." he promised with a smile.

Penelope nodded her head and began to quietly tell him the story about what had occurred at the castle in Younis. It was the first time she had ever told the full story out loud since most of her reports to other knights had been lies in order to keep her relationship and closeness with the thief unknown. She still recalled the raid rather clearly, able to picture the castle in the pouring rain rather vividly. With it she was also reminded of poor Abraxas, whos death she still blamed herself for. She let out a soft sigh and skipped over telling Hartley that particular detail.

As she finished with explaining that they had managed to get the staff from the castle, she paused to look around and make sure the others weren't paying attention. Luckily Olivia and Alistair seemed too wrapped up in their own conversation, which seemed to be a bit more serious than their usual ones as she notice Olivia eying him with a soft expression, Hazel was too far to have heard and Rikki seemed to be keeping a distance from her as they all worked. Looking back to Hartley, the young thief was grinning, clearly entertained by the story.

"So what happened after that? I heard rumors that the staff disappeared. Is it true?" he asked.

Penelope faltered and glanced down at the herbs. "Ah I think we're done. We should see what the next step is." she mumbled switching the topic as she instead looked over at Rikki to see if the oil was ready.
I figured xD
nice lol

Penelope gave a small nod of agreement as Hazel mentioned needing to get Crow out of her camp. The knight had no arguments there. While it was a bit nice to see him everyday, it certainly wasn't worth all the danger he was in. He still had time before the barons decided to do anything and she could only hope that was enough time for him to recover enough to make his escape. As Hazel went on to speak about making him some painkillers, she dipped her head gratefully. Though she would only be able to get a small amount for him, it was at least better than nothing since Jane wouldn't be willing to use such supplies for the thief.

She watched as Rikki ran off to go start the fire and then looked back to Hazel as the herbalist thanked her. The knight studied the herbalist for a brief moment, surprised by her lack of bitterness as she thanked her. Though, she supposed that Hazel had been acting a little less bitter towards her during this visit. Even when she had first arrived the herbalist had merely seemed curious rather than annoyed with her. Hazel hadn't even addressed her as rat yet. She must be really relieved about Crow.. Penelope thought.

"Thank you for helping with the medicine." she said. As she gestured to the three thieves, Penelope gave a small nod and then glanced at Olivia before looking over at Rikki as she guided the other two thieves. The female knight hesitated a bit, suddenly struck by a small feeling of awkwardness at the thought of having to look to the female thief for guidance after all that had occurred between them. However, she pushed it down quickly, focusing on the prospect of helping Crow, and walked over to her with Olivia casually following behind.

"So, how can we help?" Penelope asked as she looked at Rikki then glanced down towards the pots they had set up.
Sounds good!
And nice xD everytime a noble is an ass to him he can just have them raid them xD
Penelope gave a small smile at Hartley's words. "He's definitely a survivor." she agreed with a nod. Her gaze turned back over to the herbalist as she spoke up again and informed her that she could prepare the medicine for him. The knight let out a soft sigh of relief. She hadn't been expecting the herbalist to be able to prepare it so soon, even if she would have to wait a while. Knowing that she'd be able to give the medicine to Crow as soon as the next day, she felt a little more at ease.

"I don't mind waiting at all." she said with a firm nod and paused as her gaze drifted over to Olivia. "You can head back to camp if you want though."

Olivia shrugged her shoulders and glanced towards Alistair before looking back to Penelope. "I don't mind sticking around." she mused then looked towards the herbalist. "I can help too."

The knight gave a small nod to her friend. While she didn't mind Olivia staying, she hoped that it wouldn't put the other knight in any trouble. Even if the medicine managed to get done before the sun rose like Hazel claimed, there was still a chance sneaking back into their camp would be much more difficult than usual since quite a few knights got up early aside from the guards. Not to mention it wouldn't give them much time to sleep before they had to go about their usual duties. Olivia didn't seem hesitant about her choice though so Penelope focused back to Hazel.

"We can both help." she offered then paused before adding. "Also, do you have anything that would numb the pain of the wound? The physician is looking after him but.." Penelope frowned and glanced off to the side. "she's really only doing the bare minimum since she still views him as an enemy like most of my comrades... I don't think she intends to use anything to help with the pain."
Awww cx it's going to be so bad when he leaves for the castle
The knight barely had time to go any further into detail before she was suddenly bombarded with questions from the three thieves. She glanced around at the three of them as they finally seemed to settle enough to wait for her to respond. Feeling like she could speak now, her gaze shifted to meet Rikki's again. Though the female thief had caused a bit of trouble by trying to get between her and Crow, she felt a wave of sympathy for the other woman who had believed him to be dead. She placed her other hand over Rikki's and gave a comforting squeeze as she held her gaze.

"He's not. I wouldn't lie about that." she assured softly. Letting her hand go, she turned her gaze to the other two thieves. "After I killed Jaxon, the fight pretty much ended and a few of my comrades started recognizing Crow. I told them that he wasn't the enemy and that he had saved me.." the knight faltered slightly as she recalled how panicked and helpless she had felt during that moment when Crow was near death. She let out a shaky sigh and shook her head.

"I was the leader of that patrol so I gave the order to take him back to camp with us.. We patched him up with what we could find at Jaxon's camp. Gavin, Olivia and a few other knights rotated carrying him until we reached our camp the next morning. Gavin managed getting the physician to treat him and thank the gods, she was able to save him." Penelope felt her throat grow a bit tight as she explained all that had happened. Though he was better now, the feeling of being close to losing him was still fresh and recounting the story gave her a strong desire to turn and go straight back to his side.

Clearing her throat a little, she looked over at Alistair. "The injury is going to take a while to heal though. He can barely move right now so he's still stuck at my camp... The only issue is his illness.." Her gaze shifted to Hazel. "His coughing busted his stitches today."
Yeah it probably won't xD

Penelope partially forgot about Hartley xD
Having been prepared for a possible attack, she was instead surprised as she heard a familiar voice say her name and before she knew it, Hartley wrapped his arms around her. The knight blinked in unbridled surprise at his sudden appearance. Penelope had nearly forgotten that the boy had been caught up in the mess with Jaxon as well after all that had happened. Suddenly feeling grateful to know he had made it out, she returned his embrace and gave him a small pat on the back.

"It's good to see you too." she mumbled and took a step back to look at Hartley. "I'm glad you got out ok... How did you end up here though?"

Hartley's smile faded and he lowered his gaze. "Crow told me about this place...I'm sorry I couldn't do anything to help."

Penelope was just about to reassure him that Crow was alive when Hazel approached and spoke up. She looked past the young thief and over at the herbalist. The knight frowned slightly as she began to notice just how drained Crow's companions looked. It caused her to feel a stab of guilt over the fact that she hadn't even thought about visiting them until Crow's illness had acted up. Nearly losing him had been hard enough, his companions were likely convinced that they had lost him completely and it showed.

"I came because I need your help, Hazel, but more importantly, to tell you that Jaxon is dead and Crow is alive." Penelope explained as she met the other woman's gaze. "I managed to get him back to my camp in time and that physician you worked with before treated his injury."
Same xD
I'm really excited for that haha
John's definitely going to think Crow's like his father lol
