Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope looked over at the paper he pulled out. She gave a small nod of agreement as he explained they likely wouldn't have much to worry about upon returning to her camp. In truth, the knight was still a bit concerned about how her comrades would react to the thief's return. Especially her less than kind brother. Just the thought of Layth finding out that Crow would become the next viceroy made her cringe. She doubted that news would go over well and was suddenly rather glad to know he'd be stuck at the war front when it was officially announced.

As he went on to say they could tell Olivia and Gavin, she raised her brow in mild surprise. While she also trusted the two not to say anything, she was merely surprised that he suggested it, especially after how secretive he usually was. Penelope smirked a little in amusement. "I see your soft side for them is starting to show." she teased with a playful nudge.

"But I suppose we could. I trust them and I think the most we'd have to worry about is Olivia teasing you about it." Penelope crossed her arms over her chest and shook her head as she thought about her friend reacting to the news. She was certain Olivia would have a field day with the news that Crow was going to become a noble. As for Gavin, it was difficult to say how he'd react but she assumed he'd be shocked more than anything and perhaps a small bit pleased now that she wouldn't be abandoning her life as a noble.
Same cx

Penelope realized that dealing with her comrades finding out Crow's alive and not in jail probably won't be easy xD
Penelope nodded her head a bit absently as her gaze swept over to the gossiping noblewomen. She eyed them for a moment, disliking that they were likely creating some rumor or assumptions about Crow being allowed out of the castle alive. She sighed to herself and looked back ahead. Though she found their gossip annoying, there was nothing she could do about it and soon enough any speculating would be put to rest once he formally took the position as ambassador.

Her attention shifted back over to Crow as he asked about her plans to confront Mia. She had already been doing some thinking on how to go about it but the thought of it made her nervous. There was still a lot of uncertainty that she felt in trying to convince Mia to let her return to the inner kingdom. Even though she had been thinking over how to deal with this situation, she wouldn't know how well her plan would work until she actually spoke with the baroness.

"Sorta." Penelope mumbled as she looked up at him. "I'm hoping that if I can get her to agree with me on ending the war that she'll see reason in letting me return to the castle. If I can do that, I probably won't have to fight her too much on leaving. She'll still have one lieutenant with her after all and then I can represent her back at the inner kingdom." She gave a small shrug and paused as another concern, though smaller, came to mind.

"Also, I've been wondering... What should we tell my comrades about you, you know, not being arrested?" she asked. "I know word will eventually get out about you becoming viceroy but.. I'm not sure if it's a wise idea to mention anything to my battalion about it."
Definitely lol Gavin and Penelope are both pretty work focused
It's for sure another way her and Crow balance each other out cx

"I'm sure you'll remind me even if I do." Penelope mused with a small laugh at his teasing wink. She got up from the bed and gathered her clothing from the ground. She smoothed out her shirt as she slipped it on and did the same with her pants. Though laying besides Crow for so long had been rather enjoyable and comfortable, her shoulders did feel a little stiff so after getting dressed, she rolled her shoulders, causing for a faint pop to sound from them.

As Crow turned to her, she smiled back at him and nodded her head. "As I'll ever be." she responded with a smirk. A long day of traveling really didn't sound too bad to her now that she was traveling alone with him and the closer they got to the outer villages, the easier it would get. Penelope stepped over to join him and lead the way out of the room.

The knight slowed her pace slightly as they walked down the hallway, suddenly remembering that Crow had stolen from the innkeeper the night before. She hoped that since they had received no visit from the noble yet that it meant he had yet to notice that the wristband was missing. The thought of it made her all the more eager to leave the inn before he could. As they stepped into the main room, she walked over to the innkeeper to return the key to him. The knight watched as he eyed Crow warily and gratefully accepted the key from her.

It seemed Crow had been right in assuming that the man wouldn't notice. After all, he just seemed relieved that he'd no longer have the thief in his inn anymore. Penelope muttered a word of thanks to him before stepping away from the desk and heading out of the inn with Crow. Once outside she let out a small yawn and looked over at Crow. "Ready for one last day of unwanted staring?" she joked with a small smirk. "At least, I think once we leave Sarton it should start to die down a bit."
Unfortunately for him Penelope's just a little too focused cx
her and Gavin get along for a reason xD even though she's not as bad lol
Penelope returned his grin with a smile and closed her eyes as pulled her into another kiss. Though she believed they should get ready to go soon, the knight wasn't all too eager to rush out. It was rare for her to be able to wake up besides him like this and she wasn't looking forward to having to deal with other nobles again once they set out for Wellspring. At least the staring would likely die down some more the further they got from the inner kingdom.

As he gave her a mischievous look, she raised an eyebrow at him but didn't get a chance to ask anything as he suddenly shifted them. She blinked in surprise as she now laid on her and he hovered over her instead. The knight lightly bit her lip as began to kiss along her collar. She hesitated, a bit tempted by his words and his actions. After all, she wasn't exactly eager to get up that morning. Aside from the long day of traveling ahead of them, she enjoyed being able to be close to him like this, a luxury they would soon have to give up for a while again once they returned to the castle.

However, they still have quite a few days left and a long ways to go. It was best to get a head start. "As much as I'd like to, we should probably get moving." she told him with a soft sigh. Penelope shifted away from him and leaned up to press a quick kiss to his cheek as she moved to sit up. "We've got a long day of traveling ahead of us."
Penelope thought it was cute cx

Exactly lol
And honestly they probably would xD
Penelope returned his tired smile with a hopeful one of her own. She couldn't wait for that. Though it seemed that day was still far off, she was just as eager for it to come as she had been before with their plans in Farhill, if not more so now that she wouldn't be giving anything up to be with him. She gave a small murmur of agreement as he mentioned being relaxed. The knight smiled to herself as she felt him bury his head against her neck.

She listened to him mumble and gave an amused look as he passed out right after speaking. "Good night, Crow." she mumbled softly to the sleeping thief. Penelope carefully shifted to get more comfortable as she laid pressed against him and closed her eyes. In the privacy of the inn and the warmth of him besides her, the knight drifted off to sleep in no time.

Penelope began to stir from her rather deep slumber the next morning. She was reluctant to open her eyes and get up as she was rather comfortable lying there besides Crow. However, she knew it was probably best not to sleep in and let out a soft sigh before opening her eyes and forcing them to focus as she tried to fight off any lingering sleepiness. The knight yawned and shifted her gaze to look over at Crow besides her. She was still pressed closely to him and smiled as she studied his face for a brief moment. It was nice being able to wake up besides him again.

Though she would have liked to merely lay there besides him all morning—his sleeping face was rather cute in her opinion—she knew they'd have to get moving soon. Penelope propped herself up on her elbow and leaned over him to press a tender kiss to his lips. "Rise and shine. We got to get moving soon." she murmured as she pulled back.
Makes sense lol
