Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope leaned in as he kissed her one more time. Like the viceroy, she savored the moment of having him so close. With any luck, they wouldn't have to wait for too much longer before they could be public about their relationship. Having him close to her like this again just reminded her of just how eager she was to quit sneaking around. The knight was proud to be with him, whether he was a thief or the viceroy, and couldn't wait for the day when she could cease pretending to be uninterested in him.

As he pulled away, she stood back as he moved to the door. She squinted her eyes as well as the light poured in from the open door and followed him cautiously into the corridor as he gestured to her. Stepping back out, her gaze immediately drifted over to the nearest window, eying it warily for a moment before relaxing once more as she saw it was still just raining steadily. Her gaze focused back to Crow as he spoke up and she let out a small sigh, nodding her head.

She smiled up at him as he kissed her cheek. "I love you too. And thanks... Good luck with your tutor whenever you have to face him next." she said with hint of concern. The knight still felt a small bit guilty for being the reason he skipped his lesson that day but she had to admit, she was rather glad he had. Despite the storm and her fear, it was one of the best days she had had since their return to the castle.

Her gaze shifted past him as the sound of approaching footsteps caught her attention. She glanced back at Crow and gave him a small wave before stepping away from him to take up her original guard position. It was good timing too since the person who appeared happen to be the guard taking her off of her shift. She dipped her head politely to the other knight before turning to head off to the Great Hall where she was supposed to meet up with Jonathan. She casted one more glance over her shoulder towards where Crow was headed before turning to focus her gaze ahead as she walked down the staircase. Now alone, the space around her felt a bit empty as she walked. Though, she wasn't alone for long.

"Hey Penelope!"

The knight blinked and turned her head to see Cedric hurrying towards. She raised an eyebrow at him, wondering why the other knight was even headed in her direction. "Hi Cedric. Where are you headed? Didn't they just start serving supper?" she asked him as she met him halfway.

"They did but I was hoping to catch you." Cedric admitted with a small smile. "I wanted to join you for dinner if you don't mind."

"I don't but I'm planning to have dinner with Jonathan, one of the visiting lieutenants.. I guess you can join us if you don't mind him." she said with a shrug.

"I don't mind at all." Cedric's smile grew.

"Alright then come on. He's probably already waiting for me there." she mused as she began to continue on her way towards the room down the corridor. Cedric nodded his head and trotted after the knight.
They're both so unprepared for that ^^;

And ooo I love it xD is that yet another character I smell? XD
I imagine she'll find it kinda amusing at first but that won't last long before things start to get awkward lol
Penelope smiled up at him as she heard him laugh at her words. As he leaned in to kiss her, the knight met him halfway. Even though she been prepared for the kiss, she was slightly caught off guard by the passion he put into it. However, she wasn't complaining. She wrapped her arms loosely around his neck and pressed into him as he held her against himself. When he pulled back, she had to pause to catch her breath as well.

At his words, she smile endearingly at him. Though she had just been joking around, it warmed the knight to hear him reassure her of how fully his heart laid with her. She gently caressed his cheek and pressed an affectionate but short kiss to his lips. "I love you too, Collin." she murmured softly. "And I know you will. You've already done so much for me, giving up your life and all. It's more than I could ever repay but I'll certainly try."

She pressed a kiss to his cheek and moved to slip her around his middle. The knight began to notice that the sounds of the storm had died down. From what she could tell, the rain had settled into a steady trickle rather than a heavy downpour and it had been a while since the last sound of thunder. The knight blinked as another thought struck her. "Crap, I've still got to meet Jonathan for dinner.." she muttered, mainly to herself. Looking up at Crow she gave a small frown. "Sounds like it's settling down outside...We should probably slip out soon." she said with clear reluctance to leave.
Speaking of being optimistic xD

I'm kinda thinking we should throw in Adam and Alden framing Crow for stealing like after this lol I imagine Adam would have been a bit scared by seeing Crow conversing with the three nobles and would want to act fast. Maybe one of his followers even overhears Udolf complaining about Crow skipping his lesson too so he decides it's perfect chance to frame him? Plus it'd be difficult for Crow to have an alibi since it'd expose him and Penelope XD What do you think?
Penelope glanced towards the door as the shadow of someone passed by. She stiffened briefly, holding her breath as she waited for whoever it was to pass by. Luckily it didn't seem to be a servant as the footsteps faded and the two were alone again. She relaxed a little and shifted her gaze back onto Crow as he began to explain how his time with the other nobles had been going. It sounded like the thief was having quite a bit of success and she was glad to hear it. The more nobles he had on his side, the more difficult it'd be for Adam to do anything to him.

"That's good." she said with a hint of relief in her voice. "I'll still try to keep an eye on him but with any luck, he'll realize he's got to give up." As he went on to mention that it could be also lead to them not having to hide anymore, a hopeful gleam entered the knight's gaze. While the main priority was to keep him safe from being targeted, it would be a lovely bonus if it meant they would no longer have to sneak around everyone. "That'd be nice. I'd like it if it worked out like that." she agreed with a soft smile.

Having calmed down from the last ripple of thunder, she was a little bit more relaxed again. She glanced up at him and gave a small smirk of amusement as another thought crossed her mind. "The downside is that you'll probably get a few other offers for courtship before then." she pointed out. Once more people started accepting the former thief as the viceroy, it would only be a matter of time before someone tried to advance their family name through a marriage offer. Even if they weren't truly fond of him, power was power and there were plenty of nobles after it.

Feeling a little better, the knight let out a dramatic sigh. "I suppose I'll have quite the competition ahead of me. We both know how fond you are of noblewomen after all." she joked with a wink. "Although, there aren't too many that know how to wield a sword so I can likely scare them off by challenging them to a duel if I have to."
It's pretty effective lol
Penelope closed her eyes tightly as the second clap of thunder made the shelves tremble. As she held herself back from trembling as well, she couldn't stop her teeth from beginning to chatter nervously. Just when the knight was hoping the storm was slowing down it sounded like it was still going strong. Trying to calm herself, she attempted to refocus on Crow, the feeling of being close to him again, the way he soothingly traced his hand over her shoulders and the gentleness in his voice as he spoke to her. For a moment, she didn't reply as she tried to regain her bearings after being shaken by the rather intense clap of thunder.

"I sent out letters... No replies yet b-but I figured it would take a while. Hopefully I'll get something soon." she finally mumbled. "A-and I did catch those lieutenants. Turns out I actually knew one of them." Penelope shrugged her shoulders and opened her eyes again as she pulled her head back just enough to look up at him. "He's been hoping for a peaceful end to the war too actually so I know I have his support.. Out of the three, I think only one is against me really. He seems set on seeing the war to its end for w-whatever reason."

A hint of annoyance flashed across her gaze as she thought of Doran, who had deemed the others as 'spineless quitters' just because they believed a peaceful end to the war was more reasonable than a constant stalemate. She shift to rest her head against his shoulder. "I think it'll be fine though..I-I talked to Naida about it and she said she'd help me out too." The knight took in a shaky breath as she tried to block out the sounds of the rain as she focused on Crow. "How's your plan with using those nobles going?"
The perfect revenge xD
Penelope gave a small nod as she glanced up at the ceiling. She hadn't really noticed it due to their height difference but the ceiling was rather low. If she reached up, she'd be able to touch it with her hand. It was a bit impressive that Crow hadn't knocked over more things than just a mop, however, considering how the thief was so skilled at sneaking around, she supposed it made sense. Her attention shifted back over to the former thief as she noticed him move to grab something.

She raised an eyebrow curiously as he picked up the mop and stepped over to the door. Making out his movements in the dark, she soon realized what he was attempting to do and smirked a little as she watched him barricade the door with the mop. As he turned back to her, she returned his grin with a small smile. "Good thinking. That's at least one less thing we have to worry about." she mumbled with a hint of relief.

The knight certainly felt a bit more secure knowing there was less of a chance of them being caught. They had both been careful to put distance between each other and to have that go to waste would be a problem, especially considering the reason they were doing it in the first place. Her feeling of security didn't last long though as a large growl of thunder made the knight freeze for a moment.

Her heart began to race anxiously again and as the sound faded, she moved off the wall to press into Crow again, burying her face into his neck as she tried to calm her nerves once more. "Gods I hate this weather." she muttered bitterly.
Nice xD

Penelope realized they probably should be a bit more careful lol
