Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope gave Crow a look of sympathy as he groaned, feeling a similar frustration about the woman's arrival. She watched as Liz sat down closely besides Crow, feeling her annoyance with the woman beginning to flare. Of course she wasn't the only one. The knight glanced over at Crow as he responded coldly to the noblewoman. She just wished that would have been enough for the noblewoman to give up. Unfortunately, it would take much more than that to drive the woman away.

At her next words, Penelope bit back a snort. Having cleared the air between her and Crow, Liz's taunts about sleeping with him didn't quite have the same effect on her as they had the night prior. Instead of feeling hurt, she just felt frustrated and a bit embarrassed for once buying into it. It made her wonder just how long Liz intended to try and milk the rumors going around. Maybe I can get her to back off from them a bit... she wondered. The thought caused her to stifle a smirk as her green eyes danced over to Crow.

"I've got to agree with her there." she spoke up with a firm nod, seeming to catch Liz off guard as she noticed her look back over to her. "You've certainly must have been tired after having to toss her out of your room. I imagine that took quite a bit of effort."

"What?" Liz questioned pursing her lips into a thin line.

Penelope's lips twitched upward into a smirk, unable to hold it back any longer. "That's the game you were referring to, right? I'm just agreeing with you. Surely Crow here was tired after having to deal with you and get you out of his room when he was trying to go to bed. It only makes sense." she shrugged innocently. The knight had to bite back a laugh as she noticed Liz's once confident attitude seemed to flounder for a moment, clearly caught off guard by her knowledge of the truth. It probably wasn't the most honorable move Penelope could have pulled, but she had to admit it was a bit satisfying.

So will Penelope cx
John might ruin the moment a bit by explaining just how formal he expects their courtship to be though XD[
Penelope was glad that they had an easy time slipping out of the room and smiled a little as he eventually fell in step besides her. Though the morning had had a much more rocky beginning, she was eager to put it behind them and focus on the more appealing thought of what the rest of their day was going to be looking like. As they stepped into the Great Hall, she began to glanced around for an empty table and caught sight of Liz who was sitting alone. It seemed her prediction of the noblewoman still being around had been right after all.

She glanced at Crow as he muttered about acting like he didn't notice her in hopes of the noble leaving them alone. The knight gave a half hearted smile at him, knowing fully well that wouldn't work. If Elizabeth had waited for him for this long, she was going to approach them no matter what. However, she didn't bother to say any of that to Crow. She figured the viceroy was already aware of it and was just trying to be hopeful. So instead, she just let out a sigh and gestured to an empty table. "Let's go sit over there." she said.

Even though Liz joining them was inevitable, Penelope wasn't going to just willingly sit with her. In fact, she made sure to choose a table far from the other noblewoman. While the knight doubted it would dissuade her from coming over, it at least made it more clear that neither of the two wanted her around. Penelope sat down across from Crow and flickered her gaze past him towards Elizabeth. As expected, the noblewoman was already getting up to make her way over to the table. The knight rolled her eyes subtly and shifted her gaze back to Crow to act as if she hadn't noticed the other woman approaching.

"Well breakfast probably won't be pleasant." she mused to him, lowering her voice slightly. "We barely sat down but she's already making her way over here."
Thanks c:
I can at least pretty much guarantee one post a day xD

Also love the large difference of Rowan and Evan having a nice evening out versus Damian chasing down Iris with his car XD
Rowan tipped her beer to Evan as he said cheers before taking a long sip from it. The taste was a bit refreshing to her and it was nice to have something to take the edge off a bit. Anyone that knew Rowan knew that she could hold her liquor rather well despite her relatively small size though so it was unlikely she'd be feeling the effects of just one beer. As Evan spoke up again, she looked over at him, lifting her brow curiously as he brought up the job that he had for tomorrow. Listening him explain that it was another debt collecting job, she nearly got disappointed. It sounded like it wouldn't be much different than what she had done that day.

However, he quickly made it sound more interesting as he described the clients to be smaller ones with less class. Rowan laughed a bit as he mentioned the likelihood of them trying to charm her. She was about to respond to him when the waiter returned with their food. She paused and turned to flash the waiter a smile. "No I'm fine too actually, thanks." she said with a small nod. SHe watched the waiter as he dipped his head politely.

"Enjoy your meal." He smiled and walked off leaving the two alone again.

Rowan watched him leave for a moment before turning her gaze back over to Evan. "Well it sounds like fun." she said with a smirk. "I'm sure I can handle whatever they try. Besides, might be fun to toy with them a bit. If they're as scummy as you say, I'll be sure to get their hopes up just enough before I tell them who my brother is." She was just excited to have a bit more experience with the business her family ran. She was confident she could deal with whatever crude things these smaller clients did. Besides that, it wasn't like she would be going alone either. If anything went wrong, she'd have Evan to watch her back.

She took a bite from her sandwich, enjoying the flavor of the freshly made food. As she swallowed her bite, she looked over at Evan and grinned. "So what do you think of the sandwich? Did it live up to the hype I gave it?"

Damian stepped out of the car and trailed behind Iris to the door, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he waited for her to open it. Observant as ever, he didn't fail to notice the way she fumbled with her keys. Nervous? He pondered. He didn't dwell on the thought for long. After all, it made sense for her to be nervous or even scared. She was about to live with someone who was rather dangerous. Or at least, who she thought to be dangerous, since he had no intentions of harming her. As she finally opened the door and suggested for him to wait at the bottom of the stairs, he nodded his head. "That's fine." he agreed, moving to lean against the wall as he waited for her to pack.

It wasn't long before she reemerged from her room with two suitcases and set them at the top of the staircase. Knowing that was his cue, he pushed himself off the wall and headed up the stairs to collect them. He just started to pick them up when his gaze drifted towards the room she had disappeared into again, wondering how much she was intending to pack. Shrugging it off, he turned and carried the two bags out to the car. It didn't take him that long to load them up in the trunk of his car, admittedly having to move around a shotgun to make the extra space before shutting it. He turned and headed back inside, surprised to find that Iris must have still been packing.

He raised a brow and began to walk up the stairs to check on the girl, wondering if perhaps she was having a difficult time. Damian knocked lightly on the open door and then stepped into the room, blinking with surprise as he found out that it was empty. His dark eyes widened as they fell onto the open balcony doors. He raced over to it and leaned on the railing as he looked out, searching for Iris, who was clearly making a break for it. Though it was dark, the dim lights from nearby houses still managed to let him make out her small silhouette as she raced towards an alley.

For a moment, Damian considered not going after her. After all, how hard would it be to play it off to his gang that she had just merely escaped while his guard was done? However, the thought was quickly tossed aside. Though he may have been willing to look a bit incompetent, his gang would look for her and he wasn't sure he wanted any of them aside from Rowan or Evan dealing with her. Plus there was still the threat of a rival gang catching word of it and tracking her down themselves to use her as bribery or worse against him. He couldn't let her get away.

Turning on his heels, he raced out of the house and jumped into his car. Knowing very well where that alley ended at, he stepped on the gas and took off down the street, intending to cut her off before she could even make it to the other side.
True cx but then it'll turn into another mess after lol

Also speaking of that, I'm kinda thinking John will give Crow his blessing after Albin gives in to Penelope's plan cx I figure he may have already been close to approving of Crow but wanted to wait so Penelope wouldn't be distracted during her work xD since he's the type to not want to risk that lol
Penelope rolled her eyes at his joke but beamed as he agreed to going with her to Bellmare. While it wasn't much different than any other inner kingdom, the familiarity of it made it particularly special to her. Having lived there practically her whole life, she had plenty of memories, both good and bad, there. Plus, there were certain parts that did make it unique in some ways. She even debated stopping by her actual home with him. She wanted to show him as much as she could so it was certainly on the list. It'd just be a bit more difficult since it was likely that her aunt or cousin would be home. Perhaps they could just swing by the outside of it at the very least.

She stretched and moved to sit up as well as he agreed with her about going to breakfast. At his words, she gave a nod of agreement. "Hopefully... Although I can't say I'd put it past her to still be waiting there." she said with a shake of her head. Though her worries about Liz had gone with their talk, Penelope still found the noblewoman to be unwanted company. "I look forward to the day she does leave too...Although, I must admit, I wouldn't mind seeing her face when we start courting." The knight looked over at Crow and smirked. "Not that you're some prize to be won, but after all she's said to me about my scar and the taunting she's done, it'll certainly be excellent payback."

While usually about acting with such pettiness, Penelope couldn't help it, especially since she was temporarily silenced from telling the woman the truth about her relationship with Crow. Her past concerns aside, Liz had been trying to get under her skin since their first meeting. It may have worked to some extent then but now feeling more confident than before about their relationship, Penelope was only left with the singular feeling of annoyance towards the other noblewoman for all that she had tried to pull. Seeing her react to the female knight with the 'hideous' streak on her face end up with the viceroy would surely be at least a little entertaining.

Penelope shrugged her shoulders and stood up to her feet, stretching out her back for a moment. Since she wasn't planning on having any guard shifts, the knight didn't bother to put on her armor, settling for just wearing her loose fitting shirt and pants. Today would likely be the first proper break she had since , well, she couldn't really remember. It seemed like between the war, Jaxon, and trying to end the war, that she had been going nonstop. Sure there were small moments of peace that she had found during all of those but it was the first time she was taking most the day to actually relax without any set plans to accomplish before it's end. While excited for it and to spend time with Crow, she nearly felt a bit guilty, especially with how little time they had to convince the king.

Deciding not to focus on that now though, she moved to step over to her door, opening it slightly to peak out into the hallway. Since it was the knight's quarters, they didn't have the regular guards station outside but she wanted to make sure the halls were clear before stepping out of the room with him. Luckily it seemed most knights must have already left to get breakfast or to their guard post, leaving the corridor empty. "Well at least this area's quiet enough right now." she mused as she opened the door more fully to step out of the room so they could begin their walk to the Great Hall.
Honestly ^^; And even that break will be short once plans for the war's end go into effect xD
Penelope gave a small laugh at his reaction to her words and gave her shoulders a shrug. As he rolled off of her, she turned over to face him, smiling as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. The knight chuckled as he pressed a playful kiss to her nose. "Well, if I must." she said, giving an exaggerated sigh. "For one, you're definitely going to have to wear something that doesn't scream viceroy." Penelope teased toying with the collar of his tunic. She smirked and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "And sneak around a few guards... And try not to bump into anything on the way as well."

The knight gave him a playful wink and then shifted to settle in more comfortably against him. "Joking aside, I can probably distract the guards at the front gates for a bit when I leave if it'll help at all." she offered more seriously. Penelope nestled her head against him and gave a peaceful sigh. She was enjoying the time they had together and thrilled to know that it wouldn't be as short as usual. After getting rather used to sneaking small moments rather than whole days, it felt like a miracle that they'd get practically a whole day together.

As she laid besides him, an idea sparked in her mind that made a fresh wave of excitement light up her gaze. "If you wear a cloak to hide your face, we could even go to Bellmare today." she told him with a smile. "It's not far from where we'll be meeting anyways. I could finally show you around there." The knight had been wanting to show him around her home town for quite some time now and couldn't help but jump at the chance as it appeared. They'd of course have to be careful to keep his identity hidden from the nobles that lived there, but she still thought the trip would be well worth it.

The knight casted a brief glance towards the window. While she was more than content spending the morning with him, she knew that it was probably time to get moving if they wanted to grab breakfast before leaving the castle for the day. With that in mind, she pulled back from him slightly and gave a small smile. "Regardless of later plans though, we should probably head to breakfast if we don't want to miss it." she mused.
Sorry I haven't replied much today! Too me a bit to get over some minor writer's block for the characters xD

That's good that you enjoyed it though! And yeah definitely a nice time lol
