Paul sighed softly, Frankly he was exhausted. Having escaped barely from several firefights only to link up with other stragglers and making it to the rear guard positions only to reinforce the rear guard units until the rest of the regiment had escaped was exhausting. During the fighting Paul had received several minor injures including a projectile that had smashed one of his armor plates that cut him when it broke apart.. It was only thanks to single brave driver and her transport that he escaped to the fort having arrived earlier today. He had barely an hour of sleep before he was issued with new papers to fill in loses in the 4th squad. Paul Saluted sharply"Private Paul Dresdner sir." he said as he tried to hide his exhaustion. "I'm From the south in a little town no one has ever heard of." Paul said quickly "I'm A transfer from 1st squad 8th company...couple of you boys picked me up when we pulled out of the city..." he said softly as he looked slight down at the ground. -------------------------------------------------- As a transport arrived Sam jumped off ready to join her new squad. "Squad four...." she muttered as she looked down at her assignment papers. all around her she saw fresh recruits as they got off their transports. on order of an NCO they were ushered to the parade area. As the area came into view Sam saw the remnant of the unit she was assigned to. fresh faces and the faces of stoic soldiers who had seen combat mixed as the NCO looked at the recruits assignment papers and sent them towards the direction of their squads. Sam quickly found what looked like a more "seasoned" Soldier, still in armor covered in dirt,dents,and blood "Hey where is 12th company fourth squad?" She asked briskly as she tried to not seem as scared as she felt. The soldier looked at her and chuckled "Over there" the soldier said with a grunt jerking a thumb in a direction "You a replacement?" The soldier asked annoyed with a very angry look. Sam nodded and said with as much confidence as she could muster. "So what if I am?" The soldier laughed at her as he saw through her false bravado " first lesson rook.... and learn well before I ain't so nice...Stay the fu..." The soldier said before being cut off by an NCO "Hurry up Trooper!" He called as he eyed the soldier "Come on recruit...lets see if we can find your squad..." he said quickly. Sam was shocked, She knew war would be tough, but to see such hostility. Sam Thought about Sev and Paul, She prayed they wouldn't turn out like that soldier. As the NCO guided her she soon found her squad. nervously she blurted out with a quick and awkward salute "Corporal Samantha Meyers reporting for duty!" she said without taking a single look at any of the members.

Civil war

With news of rising tensions The Shan have mobilized several division and fleets in response to news of Krall invasion fleets moving into position in Seraphian space. of the Divisions being sent are that of the Famed General Ale'is and her 365th combined arms division. The general made a name for her self during the Antigen revolts ten years ago. With an almost unavoidable war looming on the horizon many we give our best wishes the Shan and Seraphian forces in their battles. We pray they will return home safely. The Krall have demanded that the Shan not get involved or war will be declared between the two races. If war were to be declared The chance that war between these two large races could ignite wars all over territories held by both sides

Shan-Seraphian relations

for the past two weeks both governments have been in contact with each other slowly learning to communicate better. Shan empire had discovered the world a month ago when a long range scout had stumbled onto the planet. with obvious signs of life a small team of scientist studied around the planet and its communications around the clock. After two weeks of study a message was sent in what little they know of the Avian species language, a message of peace was sent. shortly after a lander with two Shan emissary and their bodyguards landed in a remote location and waited for the arrival of the new species. When they Seraphian arrived a short conversation began in where it was understood that The shan didn't mean any harm. Kept in secret a relationship with the Shan began with only a few people in charge even knowing at first.

The secret war

Since the last war the Shan and Krall have been at odds. Very few know that a secret war between the two has been going on. Shan and Krall blackops teams have been combating each other all over the two races territories. The Krall outer colonies revolt,the assassination of a prominent Krall general, and the destruction of the Shan capital ship "Guardian" have been acts of Shan and Krall aggression. with the out break of war soon new "accidents" have began to happen more frequently, our assumption is that operations have been stepped up to secure holdings and pave the way for both sides offensive actions.

Gali response to war

Even with the threat of war the Gali government has refused to conscript soldiers to is military, depending on the volunteers that have enlisted and the Volunteer corps. The corps consists of citizens who on their off time train in some aspect of the military. From rifle training, manning a tank, piloting a fighter and to work on a Ship in the Secondary fleets. While they are armed with secondary vehicles and weapons the king feels that with the newly accepted updating agenda the volunteer corps will be ready to fight for their people.
