He stretched his back out slightly, before letting out a sigh.
"I should probably head off. I have work to do. There's plenty of food in the kitchen, just let yourself out when you want. Maybe I'll see you around," he said, giving him a wink before heading back inside.

She didn't see anything wrong with poking a bit of fun at the girl who was quickly becoming her best friend in the facility. She was sure the girl would return fire.

Jen laughed a little at that.
"You don't need to have a bunch of stories to have a conversation. You can weigh in your opinion, make a joke, anything. Can you imagine how boring a conversation would be if it was just people recounting stories?" Jen said, grinning a little, "You just need to give it a try and put yourself out there a bit."

"I actually feel jealous of you. You think its a curse that you haven't experienced all of this stuff, but I see it is a blessing. You still have so much to do, so much to see. And you have something I never had. You have people to help guide you through everything, to show you the good and the bad, and to support you along the way. I didn't have that for most of my life. You're lucky," Jen said to Katherin, her eyes happy. She hadn't had someone like that till she met Dolly, and she definitely didn't have it over the past two years.
