@Amphibious Assualt Finally someone that's actually gonna wait until the Full Lore is released to create a character. x)
@Amphibious Assualt The full Lore will be released with the official post... there will be ALOT of it to read through, yaaay. The stuff you saw in this post is merely a fraction of the full compendium. x)
@GummyCat I pretty much have all of the lore of the entire universe in a bunch of files on my computer, as of right now I'm just reshaping it to a more compatible state, but I'll try think of something you could do. :>
@GummyCat I'll consider it.
@ActRaiserTheReturned Yep, we do have such geniuses such as characters like Loremaster Abel Samuellson & that Incubus named Tenshi that likes to blow shit up, infact he was the one that first created the guns in the first place.
@Dead Cruiser

1. Guns are fairly new, they're not that advanced; as powerful as they are, they are rather vulnurable to malfunctioning. As of right now, only the Council of the Damned has advanced far enough to have guns, though they're not used that much, only by non-magic users.

2. Mid to late 1800's.

3. There's ALOT of Lovecraftian influence in this universe. Lotsa dark stuff... Arkus is heavy magic-based, even the air you breathe contains it.
Fair enough, proceed.
@Dead CruiserGo ahead, but I'm rather skeptical about the "Mechanical God" thing... it's a bit far fetched. Though it's best you wait until all of the Lore is released, there's alot of things that are still yet to be introduced, Behemoths for example... gargantuan 50ft-250ft elemental beings that roam the planet, incredibly dangerous things.
Gods and Old Gods are different in this world, the Old Gods are crafted by the Gods, shaped from the deeds and sins they committed in their previous Mortal life. Tor'qux massacred nearly 500,000 people, it's not as if he was going to be a Good Old God. The good ones aren't entirely good, and the evil ones aren't entirely evil.

Plus, this isn't mythology, these Old Gods are very much real; they are alive to keep a balance of Chaos and Order.
@Dead CruiserWell... we do actually infact have a group that create Artificial Gods, though not entirely mechanical.
