Personality: Tali has a fairly laid-back attitude with a hint of cheeky self righteousness. This could be due to her various talents such as a steady hand and ruthless heart or just a running family trait. Accused by many of taking advantage of her supposed beauty to increase her standing and influence people, Tali strenuously denies this. She makes friends easily and has one of those ‘magnetic’ personalities that come from faking confidence and helping others to get what they want.
Biography: Tali was born on Harvest on the year of First Contact, when the Covenant stumbled upon the planet. Fortunately a large number of Harvest’s population were able to escape in Freighters, the Laurent family among them. They moved to Reach and tried to recapture the prosperous life they enjoyed on Harvest. Tali grew up hating the Covenant, and it was at age 12 that she started going shooting with her father and brother. Moa mostly; they discovered that not only was Tali a good shot, she knocked everyone elses shooting out of the park. Using outdated and uncalibrated weaponry she could take a Gúta’s head off from three miles away. At age 18 she signed on for the Marines and got transferred to ODST at age 23.
