Hey, I'm Catharyn! I joined the Roleplayer Guild on 2nd Feb 2011, then rejoined on the 17th Jan 2014 after Guildfall.

I was active every day until late 2015, accruing (i think) around 7k posts across dozens of roleplays. Then, I started working and had to gradually slow down my RP schedule. In 2017, I officially went on hiatus when other commitments got fully in the way of roleplaying.

This continued until the COVID-19 pandemic hit, when I suddenly realised I had a lot more free time in lockdown! So in mid-2020, I returned to the Guild with a vengeance. I also managed to get The Cradle 1x1 off the ground - a story i've had percolating for almost a decade.

My posting schedule has slowed down a bit now that the world has opened up again. I still love science fiction, fantasy and espionage themes, and generally aim for around 300 words per post.

I'm glad you're interested in role playing with us.

I've read back through the IC so i'm up to speed. I'm going to start writing up the first post in our second chapter, which will carry on the story of Jack, Tali and Huxley while introducing some new second tier characters around Babylon and other cities/planets which people can interact with in any way they wish. These second tier characters don't require bios and posts don't need to be as in depth as first tier.

I want to work closely with everyone to help develop potential ideas or scenarios. If you guys feel you have something of interest, don't hesitate to put it on here or PM me or anyone else involved.

Hi Drallinix, nice bio
Two things though, aren't the arm blades enough? 36 inches not to mention another inverted 12 is more than just the hidden blade, I would assume that'd be your primary weapon. Also, I strongly suggest you pick up a firearm. Unfortunately this isn't Star Wars, so I will not be allowing super human Force assisted jumping around any combat situations. You may find it difficult to close distance which is where a gun can be invaluable.

Yay, welcome back Skull! Yeah you have a bit of light reading to get on with! There is a magnifique opportunity for your character owned news agency to seize upon the situation that has arisen regarding the Project Tower. PM me if you wanna discuss it.

Me too Shadowman. The good news (or bad news, depending on how you look at it. :p ) is that I'm back in England now after a hectic two weeks on holiday. i'll reply to your PM aswell as take a formal look at how the RP has been left and start putting together a care package in the form of a new chapter. I'd quite like everyone to get to a positions where all loose ends from the situation so far have been tied up.
