Navarre was twitching in his sleep, his mind was currently engulfed in a nightmare. The same one he occasionally suffered from. As soon as that alarm hit his ears he jumped up with a slight scream. His head began to ache as soon as he began to process what all had happened. That's right, he was at UA now instead of at home. It was... a different setting. Especially compared to what he was used to. He finally pulled himself out of his bed, trying his best to ignore the blaring alarm that forbid that he fall back asleep. Carelessly putting on his uniform, Navarre left his dorm room with his long hair still an unruly mess due to him not bothering to fix it at all.

Heading down to the first floor, Navarre sat by himself in the common room and began to pick at his breakfast as he mulled things over in his mind and tried to regain some semblance of focus. Thinking back... they did those tests. The ones that Navarre apparently didn't do so good. He got to Diana a bit. And then there was Karen... she was actually threatening. Navarre noticed that Karen was in the common room as well and he tried to avoid eye contact with her.

Any trace of a smirk that had been on Navarre's face disappeared as soon as his collar was grabbed. He started to sweat from a mixture of both the fear that the look in her eyes instilled and because of the insane heat she started giving off. Once he was finally released he fell to the ground and watched as she left. Drenched in his own sweat at this point, Navarre waited a few moments before sighing. I guess you could say she was... pretty hot. That small pun made him laugh a bit and managed to keep him from becoming too stressed about his situation. After picking himself up off the ground Navarre decided that the best course of action would be to head off to his dorm.

Perhaps... Diana was right. Maybe I should start trying to be a little normal. My cockiness might get me killed at this rate... Navarre began pondering to himself as he headed back, trying to decide if it was truly a good idea to continue his act. But at this point it was hard to tell if it was even an act anymore. By now he had turned what was originally an overactive imagination into his true personality. Before he could continue on with this train of thought he arrived at his dorm. As soon as he entered he instantly fell onto the bed, happy to be able to rest in an air conditioned room.

Navarre caught the eyes of the fiery headed girl as she walked by him, Karen her name was if he remembered correctly. He saw the look of anger in her eyes as she walked past and turned his head to avoid her gaze. Damn... I thought forgetting it ever happened would be the end of it Navarre thought to himself. Unfortunately he realized that she probably wouldn't forget about this incident anytime soon. He spent a few moments heavily debating to himself before reluctantly deciding that he should apologize and hope that she doesn't decide to actually put a fist into his face this time around.

After finally deciding upon his course of action, Navarre stood up from his desk and headed out of the classroom. He figured he could probably catch Karen on her way towards their new dorms and it turns out he guessed correctly. Plastering on the cockiest smile he could muster to hide the slight fear he held he began to approach her. "Greetings! I have realized an error in my earlier actions, rare for one such as I, and I feel that a formal apology is in order!"

Navarre sat in his desk and listened as the teacher went on about the tests. He even heard a few comments that seemed to be directed about how he 'improvised' in some of those tests. He scowled a bit and thought to himself, Well excuse me for trying to put on a bit of a show! It seems he wasn't the only one who was annoyed by the results because there was a feeling like needles and he saw Diana calming down the white haired boy when he looked around to find the source. Might need to look out for that one... Navarre thought to himself. His physical results might not of showed up well but with his quirk he seemed like a force to be reckoned with.

He thought that would be the end of problems and that the class would be able to go on but then another one of his classmates seemed to have a breakdown of sorts. It was the girl with one of the most interesting quirks, visually speaking. The wings and horns gave her quite an interesting look. How ever when she yelled at seemingly nothing Navarre was kind of surprised, and her running out of the class was definitely odd. Navarre didn't feel like it would be a good idea to chase after her so he decided to wait for class to resume.

Navarre was about to try and explain himself to Karen who had the unfortunate luck of bumping into, but his voice was cut off by a fist that stopped mere inches from his chin. His eyes widened and he flinched away from what he assumed what would be his attacker, it had been quite awhile since he had to deal with physical violence like this. Most people who found him annoying were usually intimidated by his quirk. And the affect it had on him was made worse because of the intense face and fiery hair. An all around terrifying presence to Navarre.

He somehow managed to get out of his situation without a black eye which was an absolute miracle. It took him a bit to be able to move again after the that and he finally made his way back to the class. He avoided making a big entrance this time around as he was too scared to flair. He began trying to recollect himself from his seat in the top left corner of the room.

Navarre sat at lunch alone after Diana had left, continuing to ponder her advice while mindlessly eating the food he was served. He was so lost in his thoughts that he almost didn't notice that the bell had rung. He had started rushing to get himself to class while still mulling things over in his mind. Should I listen to her..? I know I can barely function without acting like this anymore but I need to learn eventually.

While lost in his own mind he didn't notice that there was a figure in front of him who was walking slower than himself. It wasn't until he bumped into the unknown person that he realized. "A-ah apologies! It seems even my well trained eyes fail at times. I am truly sorry for-" And now he finally looked at who he had ran into. The threatening looking girl with the fiery hair and what seemed to be an even more fiery temper. His apology was silenced as he instantly felt threatened.

Diana went to change, this school was okay so far. She really didn't know what to expect from any of her class mates and they were all so...different to say the least. Putting back on her clothes, she pulled her phone and unraveled it, putting her ear buds back in and walking into a shadow in the corner of the locker room. She appeared in the hall way leading to the lunch hall, putting her hands in her pockets, she kept it moving as upper classmen turned to glare at her.

"Isn't that Dawn's sister, they look...so similar?" a girl whispered to the group she was standing in and they all peered over at Diana, who turned her head towards them. Making them instantly look away, Diana sighed.

Even here dammit, why are you such a pain in my ass... walking into the lunch hall, the same reaction to seeing Diana filled some of the room. Seems her name was something she would never escape...

The tests went by fairly easily for Navarre. He checked his scores and laughed in confidence before heading back to the locker room to get changed, however only after everyone else had left did he express the pain in his hands. Hitting a shot put with a metal bad was one of his worst ideas... He made a quick look around to make sure no one had heard him in pain. He obviously had to keep up his heroic personality.

After quickly making his way to the lunchroom with the rest of his classmates and that's when he noticed Diana. She definitely had one of the most interesting quirks and he knew he had to speak to her, but he had to make sure not to let his fascination become too obvious. After formulating vaguely how he would approach her he decided that he would just wing it.

"Greetings! My name is Navarre, a fellow student in your class. I found your quirk to be quite interesting. What is your name?"

_________________________________________________________________________

Diana wanted to pretend she didnt hear the boys voice over her music, as he seemed like a particularly loud, an even further reason to ignore him. However, the boy did have a quirk extremely similar to Shadowforge, so maybe she would take the oppurtunity to see what he was like and any information on how his own quirk actually works.

Taking out one ear bud, she turned and stared into Navarre's eyes"You're the first person to not know my name already...good...I am Diana. Tell me Navarre, I'm gunna guess...you choosing to talk to me either means, your curious about me,...in which case I'll let you know now...you're a pretty guy but I'm not into...dudes..., or you're curious about my quirk...in which case you must really not...know who I am..." him really asking for her name was a first in a long time, she was so use to people knowing about her family, she had almost forgotten there was a way people talked to each other when meeting for the first time weird...

_________________________________________________________________________

A blush spread across Navarre's face at her words. "N-no, that's not what I was here about!" Realizing that his act was broken he quickly scrambled to regain his composure. "I mean... I was in fact here to talk about your quirk. It is strikingly similar to my own, yet also different... I am intrigued."

He wore a smirk on his face despite his earlier slip up. He was severely hoping that she would ignore it so he wouldn't have to worry.

_________________________________________________________________________

Pretty boy to the max huh....to bad I'm not...into people... she listened to him talk and nodded in her head "As I thought...do you mind if we sit...standing takes alot and we...also are attracting alot of attention..." if she looked up, she knew a lot of upperclassman would be staring at the two.

Moving to an empty lunch table, she took her phone and and turned her music off. Going through her phone, she pulled out the ear buds and started looking online for pictures of her family members. Pulling up her older sister, who just recently passed away in a battle with an unknown villian "Before I tell you...you have to do the same...that's my catch to this conversation...deal?" she looked over at Navarre with her tiny hand out.

_________________________________________________________________________

"Of course we have attracted their attention, my presence always draws the eyes of others!" Navarre shouted a bit to loudly and put his hands on his hips, attempting a heroic pose. He was indeed a master at drawing peoples attention but he fails to realize it's because most people find him to be absolutely insane. Yet he has chosen to take praise wherever he could find it, even if he had to imagine it.

Moving to follow Diana to an empty table Navarre sat across from her. He nodded confidently at her proposition. "Of course! Feel free to ask me anything. Though be warned, my dark secrets are not for the faint of heart!"

_________________________________________________________________________

I'm already regretting this... she pulled her hands back. Yawning suddenly and stretching her arms, she slid the phone in between them and turned it his direction. "Are you're familar with the Hero...Twilight Shadow? She was killed in a battle...fairly recently..." scrolling pictures of her using her quirk came up. "Her name is Dawn...and she is my sister. Our last name is...Ravencroft...which if it sounds familiar...my father is also a hero...named Morning Star. Any child with...the Ravencroft blood in them...will more then likely..have the quirk, Shadowforge, I do...Now the quirk is a different variation...for every Ravencroft...I, however, have the closest...Shadowforge variation to the original, which... prior to me..my grandfather was the only one in years...to have the similar variation. What exactly are...you wondering about my quirk?" she put her phone away and propped her head on one hand.

_________________________________________________________________________

Navarre sat in slightly stunned silence as he listened to Diana's story. This wasn't the first time he heard about the Ravencroft family. He had actually admired her father when he was younger, however it had been some time since he's looked into them. "I... I apologize. My intentiones were not to bring up a sad moment for you." For one of the few times since he had arrived at this school Navarre showed an actual sincere emotion. He gave her a brief sympathetic look before moving on to answer her question. "I simply wanted to ask more about it, we are going to learn more about each others quirks after all. However I did not expect I would meet someone of the Ravencroft bloodline. Fear not! You are still my classmate and I shall not treat you any differently, for here our pasts matter not!" He gave her a confident smile. In all honesty, he was excited to meet her but he could tell she didn't want him to make a big deal about it.

_________________________________________________________________________

"Really there is no reason...to apologize, it is sad...but the truth is my...father, if you wanna call him that...sent her away a long...time ago, then she was sent here...just like me. Even if...i wanted to be sad...the truth is that we didn't...really know each other...all that well...but thank you none the less..." he wasn't all bad it seemed, that side he allowed to be shown for only a little, was...actually nice.

Lowering her voice so many could not hear, the less that knew about her quirk, the better "Well Shadowforge probably works...very similarly to your very own...quirk, it's main use being...creating weapons. I need shadows...in order to make said weapons and...there are many contributing factors to...the quality and strength of said...weapon. It's simple though...the bigger the shadow, the stronger...and bigger the weapon. A good way...to tell, is the color of the weapon...stronger means darker black...the lighter the color...the weaker it is and so on...The other part of my variation...allows me to travel through shadows around me" she decided to leave out the part about the cooldown, never know if they got into a fight, holding up the facade that she could just blink around like the one kid in their class, could mean winning the match. "I would say thank you...but being the little sister of someone...like my sister...on top of being a Ravencroft...it's impossible for me to avoid it...which brings me to ask...what about you? Who even...are you and I try to mean that...in the least cold way...but you have this attitude like...someone of my "Status" would act...and that quirk, it's been an incredibly...long time since I met someone with a...weapon conjuring quirk like mine"

_________________________________________________________________________

"Still, it can't be fun losing someone bound to you by blood, despite the closeness." He quickly realized that staying on this topic much longer would be a terrible idea. He also had trouble believing that a hero he looked up to for so long could act like that.

Navarre listened to her tentatively as she explained her abilities, utterly fascinated by the powers her quirk held. "I believe I understand. It is the reason you used the girl who grew exponentially at one point in your tests. A very effective method I must say."

Navarre tried his best to act shocked in a way that was clearly sarcastic. "As I have told you, I am Navarre Kanasu!" He looked at Diana with his arms crossed and the smuggest grin he could muster plastered across his face. He laughed a bit and sighed before letting it drop and he leaned into whisper to her. "In truth I am far less known than I make myself out to be. But with the way I carry myself I am able to fool even myself. I have always wanted to be... more than I am. I've wanted to be something legendary. That's why with my quirk, which I call Full Arsenal, I have been able to keep up my act of self confidence. I used this to power through life even when others would tease me for it. That is why I am so nervous whenever I drop it..." He looked away from her for a few moments, a somewhat saddened look in his eye before catching himself and turning to face her with an awkward grin. "Apologies, I didn't mean to burden you with my mysteries!"

_________________________________________________________________________

"You know something Naverre...you are incredibly stomachable...when you're being yourself...you know that right...I'm not...how do you say...the nicest or easiest person to talk to...to be honest with you" she looked at a group of girls pointing at them, realizing she was staring, they all scattered like children getting caught with their hand in the cookie jar. I actually hate...a good majority of humans...but im gunna give...you some advice, I think...most people all think you're...just some cocky guy...and I get the whole...doing something big...not my thing but...that's not the point. I think...that little vunerable side you...just showed me would go...a long way in people...thinking or better yet...wanting you to be...legendary...or make people believe...you're something bigger...then you actually are..." she shrugged and propped her head on her fists "But take what...I say with a grain...of salt, after all...I hate being apart of...something "big", you realize...notoriety just means there's...a bigger target on...your back so to speak"

All things considered...he's loud but...he isn't all bad...Good, he could be useful...as well, I wonder how he fights...

_________________________________________________________________________

Navarre looked away from her awkwardly. It had been quite awhile since really anyone had given him any sort of compliment. It was actually quite refreshing to have someone be even a little happy with his normal personality. Although he knew what to expect after, that he should drop his act. "I do appreciate the advice... and I am very thankful for the compliment. But I will be unable to stop acting like this." The entire time he spoke he looked down, trying to avoid eye contact. He didn't want to be rude but he knew he would be unable to show his true self this easily again.

_________________________________________________________________________

She stood up and grabbed her phone "well none the less...this was a very insightful talk...more then what I thought...I was going to...get from you. Even...if you cant stop doing...that whole being cocky thing...you should consider being...just a tad bit quieter...it goes a long way...with me if you...want to..." she thought for a moment on what adjective to describe what she wanted from him "be acquaintance's at the very least..." this was a small way of her saying he was alright enough that they could be friends but being loud was a one way ticket to making Diana you're enemy "if you want...that of course...i know im probably not...the most fun...regardless, I'm going to go...to the library, I forgot...how loud school lunch...rooms got when it's nearly...filled." she looked over at Navarre, giving the smallest smile she could muster before falling back into her own shadow and disappearing. Coming up from the ground she appeared at the library remember where her sister described it being. Walking in she went straight to a tabe and sat, putting her ear buds in and sighing, finally being in silence I am never talking that much....ever again...

_________________________________________________________________________

"I will take it into consideration." He gave her a smile as well and a nod before she disappeared. That was absolutely awesome... Navarre thought to himself as he internally freaked out because of how cool her quirk was. He had only just realized how hungry he was so he quickly grabbed some food and sat back down. A friend huh... it's been awhile. It'd been so long since he had let his old personality show itself to anyone. For his own sake, he had to keep acting like this though. He had to be something more than he was. But... maybe being true to one person wasn't too bad.
"Hahaha, simple tasks for one such as I! Watch and learn, mortals." Navarre laughed confidently as he walked past his classmates. Of course his quirk wouldn't bring any sort of spectacular result but he had to keep up his confidence.

First up he had decided to hit the 20 meter sprint. With a some decent training in running since his quirk wouldn't have helped him regardless, he thought this would be the test he shined in. He managed to finish with solid score of 3.7 seconds. Getting the final test of running out of the way he set himself up at the starting line. He finished the race panting and checked his time. 15 seconds, not bad at all.

Next up were the two tests his quirk could be useful on. "Ha, now you shall finally see the power in my veins!" Navarre formed a spear in his hands and with a running start, he dug the top of the spear into the ground and pole vaulted a distance of 8 meters high. Finally was the shot put. Navarre knew his strength wouldn't help him here. "The die has been cast..." Instead he tossed the ball straight in the air, a metal bat forming in his hands. "Strike!" He called out as he launched the shot a distance of 22 meters. Not impressive but better then without his quirk. "Heh, it's good I didn't unleash my true power."
"The chosen hero has received his first objective!" Navarre muttered to himself as he pushed himself up from his desk. Of course he was far more flashy in the image he created in his own mind. He followed after the rest of classmates as he let his imagine run wild.

He quickly found his way to the locker and opened it up. Ha, a simple task for one such as I! He called out in his own mind. This school had obviously gotten to him in the best way possible.
Looking around, Navarre was able to tell that no one seemed to have any intrest in him. This alone was enough to make him scowl to himself. That was until the teacher walked in.

The man was almost quite literally a giant praying mantis, a rather classy one at that due to the suit. His face lit up from the sight of this more unique quirk but he quickly composed himself. He couldn't let his new mentor see him falter, after all. He was about to greet the teacher but was stopped as it was announced that they'd be getting straight to business. The 20 meter dash and possibly the race he'd be able to handle, but he was secretly concerned about whether or not his Quirk could help him with the rest.
