Cirus, if it's quite alright, I'd like to leave Sora's partner decision up to you. I'd feel bad for calling dibs on people and since you're GM it would make some sense ;w;
Ive just realized what magic theme is. Think of Medusa, she uses snakes right? But all arrows. Her theme is Arrows. Erika or whatever the frog one is named was Circles, ect.ect.

I know, but I'm talking about the Cirus' wolf character, who's magic theme was high tech

Sorry sorry I'm on mobile and wasn't able to finish the answer hehe. I'm not so sure about the theme, so perhaps looking up Witches on the Soul Eater wiki would help out? I'd look for you but, again, mobile.

Quick question about the magic theme, what exactly do you mean by that? I had a basic grasp of the idea, but then I read your character's magic theme, and I never imagined high-tech to be in that category. Can someone explain?

In the anime, all the witches had magic based on animals.

You're quite right, but collaborating on combat post might not be feasible, and it might become a bitch for the other players to read... Pros and cons, you know. Honestly, I think time I can collab with someone is great, but I don't have the technology to do it most of the time, nor am I a fast typer, which means collabs take forever to complete... :( And then they have to be edited. To use a trope: "awesome, but impractical". And, if it practical for you, that part of what I'm saying. It shouldn't be restricted either way.

I understand completely, though there are many ways to collab (Guild PM, Chatzy, Google Docs) some might be hindered by it. Then again, collabs could only be used for combat and that would make them a bit less frequent. Also, if the two writers wish they could easily distinguish who's writing what with name tags or whatever you put on top a post uwu but if it is an issue then do what is comfortable for you (if the GM is okay with it, at least)

Also, so many chikas. We need more sausages in this (what's the food that is relevant to female gentialia? Apples? Hamburgers? Buns? Sandwiches? These are probably sexist oop) fest

Damn Sora is gonna get along with Eiko, and shes not the shortest anymore.

Hell yeah to blunt, short, kick ass females. Let's make sure the two become good friends (:
Two different people can be partners without waiting for one to transform/attack/do whatever, as it is possible to collab on a post. Collaboration might be the best course of action for a SE rp, actually. (:

Name:
Sora Barlow

Age:
16

Gender:
Female

Role:
Student

Class:
EAT

Abilities:
- Minor knowledge in hand to hand combat
- Intellect
- Acrobatics
- Weak (but growing) Soul Perception

Appearance:
Sora is a short girl, standing at about 155 centimeters (5'0) and weighing about 54 kilograms (120 lbs.). Her body is slender, and her skin is fair. She is round faced, with large blue-green eyes, a small nose, and small lips. Her brown hair reaches down to her upper back and is thick and rather hard to manage, as she often claims during a bad hair day.

Mission Outfit

Brief personality:
Sora is best described as straightforward and a bit apathetic, normally seen with a book in hand and an annoyed grin dominating her face. An intellect, she enjoys reading and studying and if she was trying hard in anything it would be classes. She is somewhat detached emotionally and is oblivious to her own feelings and the feelings of others, but has a strong sense of justice and will not leave anyone in need. In a battle she is known to think before attacking, but if enraged she will grow reckless and rush head on into anything thrown at her.

Background:
Being the daughter of a Japanese mother and American father, Sora was always pushed to try and do her very best. She grew up in Death City, and while she wasn't the most popular kid she was rather content with her simple life. Her parents, while kind, always seemed to have a plan for their daughter, and sometimes forced her to do things that she hated like sports and martial arts. The only thing Sora did enjoy, though, were her parent's fantastical stories of being a weapon and meister team, which inspired her to go to the DWMA to become a meister herself. And, so, Sora grew up surrounded by books and stories, yet was alone friend-wise, and became rather apathetic and detached around other people.

Theme
(Cause those are fun <: )

Oh, just saw the original quest! Let's keep that on tabs if we ever need to make a spin-off. Having a quest with a prerequisite sounds cool. Maybe I'll ask you guys to send me missions in PMs in the future. Save me some work, y'know? >u< Edit: Does anyone know of someone who'd be interested in playing a similar character to Hao? I hope Ekirei comes back, but now would be a good time to start searching for a replacement.

I will begin coming up with missions, then! Meanwhile, I can ask around to see if anyone can make a character like Hao. (:

Also edited Mai's appearance because the chick from Steins;Gate just fit her better in my eyes ;w;
They had said the walk wasn't much, but Mai could already feel her body begin to protest. Ankles and knees creaked, sweat dripped from her brow, and she was breathing roughly, as if she couldn't catch her breath. A feeling of regret tugged at her heart, and then she was frozen, breathing hard and glaring at her feet, anger at herself causing her normally calm eyes to narrow and bristle,

'Stop.' her mind thought firmly, 'you are NOT tired. Just name more Pokemon, you'll be fine.' and she slowly rose her head and glanced back into the woods, watching shadows form and vanish until she could finally pin point enough details to name whatever happened to be hanging around,

"Arbok, Fletching, Ekans, Gabite..." She continued on after the group, purple eyes drifting quickly from left to right, up and down, at every single living thing she could point out. Honestly, she was impressed with the number of different Pokemon living in a single jungle, and she wondered briefly how all of them arrived to this island seeing as most were strictly land-oriented.

Eventually, the thick jungle parted, and Mai had since silenced her murmuring to catch her breath, feeling an uncomfortable tightness close around her chest. The sun's heat suddenly beat down on the open clearing and Mai glanced up at the sky, taking note of a Flygon and a few scattered Wingulls, and then around where they had ended up. The ground beneath was much harder then in the jungle, and soft grass sprouted from the dark earth in lovely patches. Bungalows, as the four had mentioned, surrounded the opening, and looked rather cozy, and the excitement of living somewhere without walls suddenly made her smile a bit. The excitement manged to quell her heaving chest and she managed to relax a bit, hands toying with the edge of her white dress offhandedly as she became lost in thought. One of the four rangers in front, the stuttering, blonde girl, suddenly called everyone's attention, and Mai allowed her wandering eyes to settle on the four in front once more, ignoring the jagged glare of the blaziken-looking one.

"Ah, if it's not too much t-t-trouble, t-these are your g-groups... y-yeah? U-uhm... We'll pick the leaders of each squad and y-you can n-n-name it if you'd l-like..."

Mai stared at the girl, feeling somewhat sorry for the poor thing who obviously did not do well in front of crowds. Names were called, one by one, and Mai sat in a sort of uncomfortable silence until the familiar-looking black haired girl took over for the jittery one. She examined the girls face, finding both her voice and looks to resemble that of a pop idol she had seen on TV some time ago, and then her name was called and she jumped a bit, stepping into the line and bowing her head ever so slightly, turning to see who her teammates would be. A pretty blonde girl named Cecelia Rielly stepped up besides her, and then a short boy named Rainer Spades came up next. They looked well off, prepared, and reliable. While it is said you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, there are times when it should be allowed, and right now Mai decided they looked like good teammates. Soon, all the names were called and the pretty girl instructed them to mingle, and then everyone was circling up, names were called, and Mai gulped down her fright and turned to her two teammates, bowing slightly,

"H-hel," her voice caught, growing tight and high with anxiety, but she coughed it away, took a deep breath, then continued, "sorry, hello. I am Mai T-Taniyama. Let's get along." she nodded again, a small, polite smile dominating her pale face.

So the Flygons are doing moonlight ritual and the Lucarios are doing Armor Prototype. Got it. Chezka, are you alright with doing Nevermelt? I have a bunch of ideas for it.

Looks like we got Unscheduled Playdate, team. I hope everyone is okay with that (:
