Still check in from time-to-time though. This website literally hasn't changed since Mahz migrated it over like 8 years ago lol

BTW, anyone from Minecraft Forum/RPGuild days who remembers me (especially among the Precipice/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon circles), hit me up on PM! I won't reply super quickly but I will eventually hit you guys back!

I think Aaron is taking issue with the fact you're essentially trying to recreate the United States in an RP that is about the aftermath of its breakup. If you made a nation that encompassed two or three states, it wouldn't be so much of a problem but you're trying to claim a large number of states AND say they're economically powerful AND militarily powerful. Everyone else within the former USA is trying to tell a good story while it seems (judging by your application) as if you're trying to recreate the US to steamroll over everyone else, as well as leaving potential new players out. If you want my advice, it would be a good idea to keep the "remake the old USA" idea but centre it on a much smaller area (say, 2-4 states as opposed to 13).

I could see a possible small border conflict or diplomatic solution occurring due to the situation of the world.

Seeing as you and @Chairman Stein are the fellow Asian players, I'd like to ask about the current situation in the Phillipines and Korea. Are they American/Chinese? Are they independent? Are they a republic? I feel like setting up a good canon will help with constructing my posts.

Oh and I'm okay with you claiming all the old Japanese colonies (Shenyang, Dailian, Taiwan) but IC, Japan is going to claim Taiwan, Korea and all the other former colonies are "Occupied Territory" and probably will try to retake them in the future.
What is the MCF? And how did you guys got ban?

There's a fun story.

Googer founded this RP back in 2010 on the Sporum but from what I understand (I wasn't around then), they jumped off that sinking ship and migrated to Minecraft Forums (MCF) in 2011-2012, where it continued for a few years. The admin of MCF, a squid named Citric, took a page from Stalins book and started purging the "Other" section of things he disliked - swearing, politics and chat threads. HugtheZombie/Pepperm1nts and Feokris/Shyri, two of our own, had infiltrated the moderators outer circles and the Precipricks tried to encourage better-quality RP through them. There was even a roleplay discussion thread that had slipped through the cracks and basically became a place for us to shitpost, chat and advertise new RP's. Anyway, somehow Citric found out and started purging the Roleplay section. Feo got put into "retirement" and Hugs was outright de-modded for "neglecting their duties" (not enforcing the swear ban properly, allowing a chat thread to exist). I think Evan or Vilage even got banned or something. We eventually found out a guy on the forum who disliked us had sold us out to the secret police and then Aaron dragged us over here 2 years ago or so. The old threads are still up, buried beneath highschool RPs and Aaron still shitposts there sometimes.
Second in this timeline, since I'm assuming Japan hasn't invaded China just yet.
@Chapatrap

Just a FYI, China owns Shenyang, Dailian, and really, western Manchuria.

I'm going to argue that you don't own Manchuria/Manchuko at all (or have limited influence there) since, in your app, you say:

with heated border conflicts and tensions with warlord states like Manchuria, Inner-Mongolia, Tibet, and Xinjiang.
Doctoryzer

I'd be more than happy to include an arc where border conflicts in Manchuria create friction between Japan and China (Second Sino-Japanese War, anybody?) and we can even collaborate on an accurate map of East Asia but as I was referring to your application frequently while writing my own, I'm more than sure that Manchuria/Manchuko is still a Japanese client state.
I nominate myself and Takahashi Korekiyo:

Name: Empire of Japan.
Government Ideology: Imperialism/Fascism.
Leader: Hirohito
Rough Population: Approx. 65 million.
Capital: Tokyo.
History of Your Nation since start of Great Depression:
Japan's economy survived the Great Crash due to the policies and reforms put in place by Takahasi Korekiyo. As both head of the Bank of Japan and finance minister, Korekiyos sweeping reforms led to the abandonment of the gold standard, mass lowering of interest rates and controversially, cuts to government spending on the military. While saving the Japanese economy, Korekiyo's reforms turned more than few heads in the military, who plotted his demise after the loss of Korea and Taiwan to Chinese forces and the well-publicised seppuku of General Masato.

Korekiyo met his maker at the end of a katana in his summer home in Nagasaki in early 1936 and the uneasy alliance between civilian and military government continued. His successor has proven to be much more conservative in cuts to the military and inflation has begun growing at a steady rate. Despite losing their oldest territories, many still remain. The South Pacific Mandate, bestowed upon Japan by the League of Nations after the First World War, remains under Japanese control, as does the puppet state of Manchuko, cut off from Japan but still very much falling under their sphere of influence. While an interest remains in retaking lost territory, the Japanese have set their sights on the wider Pacific Ocean. The wealth of the Dutch East Indies, the agricultural potential of the Phillipines and the crucial natural harbours in Hawaii have long interested the Japanese and calls for their freedom from western control have grown louder since the revolutions in 1935.

Emperor Hirohito, a puppet to his own Diet, is revered as a god to his own people and this has led to an easy control of Japanese citizens by the government. The Emperors speeches have become increasingly militaristic in the last year as he hopes to rile his people and regain the honour lost in the humiliating wars with the Chinese.

Manchuko, which currently lies isolated between Russia and the Third Chinese Republic, has become infamous for alleged biological testing on captured Chinese soldiers and Japanese control on daily life. The client state, which was firmly declared as under Japanese protection following the short Sino-Japanese War of 1935, lies in a state of uncertainty and fear. The Kangde Emperor, Puyi, resents the Japanisation of Manchuria and a series of operations in Manchuko are currently underway to reign in the reluctant emperor.

Current territory:
Japan, South Pacific Mandate, Manchuko/Manchuria (client state).

I'll make a map later.
I'd be interested in Japan, after reading the OOC. I'll throw an app up.
We'll reach the stage where every post has a relevant art image soon.
And now I'm back to shitposting on the MCF.

It's all it's good for, tbh.

And tracking down non-canon posts.
(minus the ending)

The Klezmer ending really sums up this RP.

If we're looking at Tarantino soundtracks for PoW:
