Looking For Active RP Partners

The name's CharmingDevil and I'm currently looking for one or two more partners to RP with. I currently have a couple active roleplay partners and just looking to fill the gaps left behind by a couple lost partners due to an unintentional hiatus on my part. If you're reading this and were one of said partners, I sincerely apologize. I wouldn't be opposed to starting up again if you're willing.

I write casual to high casual (3-6 decent paragraphs) depending on my interest in the story and depending upon how much you give me to work with. I expect the same in return. I do not want to be writing the story myself. If I did, I would be an author. I only play M x F and I prefer to play the male. I’m fine with mature content as long as you are 18+ (I myself am 26) and as long as there is decent plot and character development that eventually leads to romance and mature situations. I will write descriptive smut if requested (only in PM for obvious reasons) and as long as it's well written; aka no cybering! Fluff and intimate scenes are also ok. I am fine with violence and gore but no torture (implied is fine depending on the situation). One big weakness I do have is writing battle scenes so please bear with me if our story leads to such.

I also don't require character sheets. Prefer to do without them honestly. Building characters within the story is more natural since everyone changes over time. Just a picture of your character is optional but it helps me to be able to visualize who I'm interacting with.

I'm online at least once per day but only to check messages and new responses. Just because you see me online doesn't necessarily mean I'm writing. My writing days are Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays unless I have ample free time on a different day. Please don't fret though if I take a while to post something. I never submit a post I'm unhappy with so a lot of my time is spent proof reading my drafts.

I'm looking for partners that are active and will post at least once per week (I don't expect you to post everyday because I sure as hell won't be). If you're going to be away for an extended time, have a writer's block, or just lose interest altogether, please let me know! I don't bite, I promise. I just hate waiting around for a post that may not come.

Below are a list of fandoms and originals. I don't currently have any plots or starters for any of them but love to brainstorm ideas since I'd rather have a different story for each person I write with. I'm also very open to any ideas you may have. I'm not limited to only this list as long as I'm familiar with the fandom and have interest in it so suggest everything. For fandoms, I'm open to either AU (Alternate Universe) or Canon-verse. If we decide on using the Canon Universe, the plot needs to be interesting and not be an exact play-by-play of what happened in the canon story (some elements are fine and sometimes necessary). I'm a sucker for angst (addicted to tragedy I am). If this is something you absolutely do not want, let me know. Shall we continue?

I was thinking about timeskipping Daniel to the end of his shift since there's really nothing else for me to mention until then but since there's other characters currently at the Cafe having conversations I wanted to give a heads up. My timeskip shouldn't really affect anything since the only person he's interacting with is Teryn but let me know if this is ok. Thanks.

I'm not super picky so it's really whatever you're most interested in. I have a pretty angsty writing style as I'm addicted to tragic characters but I'm flexible to any genre. A lot of what you listed sounds interesting. Of your pairings, I wouldn't mind the Demon x Human. In opposition to you, I actually prefer to roleplay the more aggressive dominant character so that works out haha. A lot of your brief scenarios sound pretty entertaining too.

It was eerie almost as Daniel watched more members of his dark family walk through the door of the Cafe. Teryn was the first soon followed by Angel and Tobias. But not too long after Daniel sat down at Teryn's table did Eddie and Sky enter within minutes of each other. Now, he wasn't superstitious by any means, but it felt like an omen with so many of them gathered in a public place like this. It was silly feeling that way seeing how each one of them was practically a walking omen, harbingers of bad luck and ill will. However, this felt different. Maybe it was just the lingering whispers of last night's events still weighing heavy in his mind, but they hardly ever gathered together like this unless it was under the light of the full moon deep in the woods. Forcing himself to ignore the cold shiver that ran up his spine, Daniel returned his attention back to Teryn as she spoke.

He was a little hesitant now that she was requesting his presence after work. "That should be fine. I get off at 1 and don't really have anything planned after work..." Daniel's hesitation soon faded though after he noticed how unbearably fidgety she was. This must be really hard for her, asking for help. Poor girl... He felt bad now that he had doubts in the beginning regarding her intentions. She merely needed help with the mission Grimbold had assigned them. He mentally berated himself for his lack of trust but it was safer that way.

"I'll help you out but don't worry about owing me anything..." Daniel would feel guilty if she felt she was indebted to him. The fact that she felt she could trust him was payment enough. Maybe in turn he would learn to trust her too.

Startled, Daniel looked up from the pastry display he had been busy organizing when he heard someone greeting him. He was even more shocked when he realized it was Teryn that had been trying to get his attention. It wasn't uncommon for him to see some of the others at the Cafe while he was working. It was a pretty popular meeting spot after all. However Teryn, like himself, didn't seem the type to go out of her way to interact with people unless it was necessary. Shaking himself from his reverie, Daniel quickly muttered, "Morning," as he straightened himself up from the display case. Before he could think of something to say, Teryn spoke up again. "When is your break?" Daniel dusted his hands off on his apron as he glanced towards the clock on the wall. She must really need help with something. Daniel highly doubted she merely wanted to hang out. "Umm, in about half an hour. If you want to just hang around, I can come find you when I'm done." Daniel offered her what he hoped was a friendly smile. In reality, he was actually pretty anxious to hear her reason for seeking him out. But in hindsight, she was probably more anxious than he felt since she willingly came to a crowded place just to talk to him. At that moment he heard someone calling her name over the buzz of conversation. "I think your order is ready. I won't be long."

Daniel decided to take his break a little early since he did arrive earlier than normal that morning. Hanging up his apron in the back and grabbing his jacket from his locker, Daniel made his way back up front where he found Teryn sitting near the back of the Cafe. He also noticed Angel and Tobias must have arrived not too long ago because Angel seemed to be tucking into her meal with enthusiasm. He nodded a quick greeting in their direction, not knowing if they really noticed or cared, and continued towards Teryn's table. Taking a seat across from her, Daniel offered a small smile. "I'm all yours for about 20 minutes. We can head outside if you like? A little less crowded out there..."
