Cynthia Cynthia's eyes turned dark and her face lost all trace of emotion. "Aiden had a very good reason to be upset. We all had one, but Aiden probably had the worst of it. Maybe Sable would tell you what happened, but I doubt it, and you would do well not to bring it up again." She closed her book and stood up, brushing herself off. "I should go find where Sable ran off to. I'll see you later."

Cynthia Cynthia was startled out of her reading by Xavier's question. "W-what? ME? Attracted to that oaf? No way!" She stuttered her protest, but her face lit up bright red again. "Besides, I heard he has someone already. It's not like he'd choose me over whoever she is." Her attention focused back on her lesson, trying and failing to distract her from imagining her and Sable together.
