Except Revan isn't actually a demon, he has demon blood. We already determined that he takes less damage than normal demons, AND that he's powerful enough to withstand a direct hit from Devil Slayer magic (which does not just arbitrarily obliterate demons, but just deals more damage specifically to them like Dragon Slayer does to Dragons).

Caroline Caroline stared at Gray from the other side of the room. Suddenly, without a word, she stood up and started walking toward the exit, pushing by the old Fairy Tail wizard on the way out. Grey, She thought, pushing open the doors, If he's here, then so is she. Not like I care though.
