Tsukiya broke into a wide grin at the thought of fighting the floor boss. "Don't you see, Yuki?" She asked, gripping the hilt of her sword. "That's exactly what we need to do. A big boss means big drops, Exp, Cor. The danger is pretty limited assuming we have a large enough group, but we don't want to have too large a group or else the drops get diluted. But it might not matter with a floor boss." At this point her eyes were practically sparkling, and she was hurriedly flipping through her handbook to try and find an entry. She even seemed to be drooling a bit.

Suddenly she seemed to remember who she was talking to, and cleared her throat, regaining her previous level headedness. "I mean, of course you might not want to fight it yourself, perfectly understandable. There should be a safe zone just outside the boss door."
I give up. If you're not going to listen to me at all, stop asking my advice.

The second thread doesn't work if all we do is move four people over into it. Have you even SEEN the roster?

Besides, half the characters in either guild ignore each other for friend in the other one. If you separate Harpy and Vyper again, all you're doing is forcing those people apart. If you DISSOLVE Harpy and Vyper, you allow those people and the people with friendships inside their guild stay together in a new guild. The only thing you're giving up is the NAME, not the people.
The problem with that is that the guilds that make almost the entire population are pretty much inseparable. I think the easiest way is to disolve Harpy and Vyper altogether and use the groups we've been naturally forming to make two new guilds. Not only will it solve the population problem, but it'll feel more like a guild when it's made out of groups of friends.

And I'm not "squelching" anything. The established histories are already part of the groups we'll be forming. What I'm saying is that the groups that naturally form over the course of the RP, those who have established histories together and those who form new bonds, will be kept together.
Guys, my staff and I are planning to create a new thread for the RP well, this thread would still exist but the new thread will be about the other two guilds.

Viper and Harpy are intact here in this original thread, though this topic is discussed in skype, it is problematic and we're still coming up with a solution.

The new thread in the foreseeable future would sure deal mixed interaction, plot on its own, same verse, can be related events. I called it Fangs and Scales because if Vyper has Harpy, LS has LW. Tentative but still we're discussing a lot.

So guys, we need your opinions for the best way to go.

GOAL: To solve the abundance of characters and distribute good posting with another, that's why the second thread idea is being discussed. Think of it as Flash and Arrow crossovers.

Alright, me and Demon tried to explain three times that this was not what we came up with.

What we REALLY came up with everyone, and the idea I pitched in the first place, is to:
Step 1: Mix everybody together in one big group for a while. No harpy, no vyper, not Lamia or Lunar. Everyone is on the same side and mixes freely.
Step 2: After everyone has sorted themselves into manageable groups by the normal course of events, we take those groups and put half of them in a new thread. This thread and the new thread both represent new, separate guilds.
Step 3: From here, each thread has it's own plot, and is limitedly effected by events in the other (Large events like attacks on major towns will be heard of in both threads, but likely only one will act on it). For events such as the GMG, both threads will temporarily merge again for the event.

This way, we manage to reduce the overpopulation that makes some characters go unnoticed without kicking anybody out of the RP. The reason we can't just separate Lamia and Lunar into their own thread is because Lamia and Lunar literally make up about 1/5 of the entire cast of characters, and removing them wouldn't solve the problem without forcing people from Vyper/Harpy to migrate with them.
You guys are melting my brain...
