Personality: Vivian is kind, but not at all gentile. In fights, she's usually the first one to throw a punch (or a blast), and her fiery temper is matched only by actual fire mages. One thing you definitely don't want to do it make her mad.
History: Vivian has been a wizard her entire life, awakening to magic at age seven. Since then, she has honed and refined her skills into a subtle art, maximizing her abilities with mundane combat skills. In a brawl or sword duel, she is a good person to have at your side.
Magic:

Bearing - a form of advanced speed magic, Bearing allows the caster to freely control their rate of movement, from a range of three times their normal speed to one quarter of it. Moving faster does increase momentum, but does not increase resistance to physical shock.

Ancient Ritual - Vivian can learn and cast rituals used in ancient magic; powerful spells lost to most minds either because they were too dangerous or complicated. Similar to rune magic, these rituals are inscribed on a surface, but must also be accompanied by a specific prayer and offering. Many of her rituals are unknown to all but herself.

Four Corners Cant

Formation and Conditions:
runes must be placed at each of the four compass directions, and on those four runes must be placed something to represent a specific element.
Fire for North
Wind for East
Water for South
Earth for West

Incantation:
"[item used] to the North, an Icon of Fire,
[item used] to the East, an Icon of Wind,
[item used] to the south, an Icon of Water,
[item used] to the West, and Icon of Earth.
I call upon the providence of that which presides over these elements, exhibit your might in defense of the contract.
Four Corners Cant!"

Effect:
Anything caught within the circle created by the Cant (The area between the Runes) is assaulted by a massive elemental force. It is similar to being hit by a direct blast from the Jupiter Cannon.

Other: This Cant takes almost all of Vivian's magic, leaving her almost defenseless afterward.

Ethnicity: European
Personality: Free is, as her name suggests, a free spirit. She tends to ignore advice from everybody and do her own thing, despite that she hates being alone. Often she winds up in trouble, but she has a knack for getting back out of it.
Background/History: When asked about her past, Free adamantly refuses to talk about it. She even goes so far as to fly into a rage if pressed, telling people to back off if they "Know what's good for them". Despite not talking about it, it's obvious from the way she talks and acts that she's had a miserable life, but also a good education.
Goal/Desires: As soon as found herself in Aurora, Free realized she had a chance to start over. She imediately grabbed it, taking her new name and leaving behind her old world without a second thought.
Powers:
Reactive Adaptation - With Free, no matter what experience she's had before, just watching somebody do something is enough for her to learn to do it herself. Not only that, but the longer she does a certain task or action, the better she gets at it, rising from apprentice to master level in just a few days. Most obviously, her physical abilities also change the more she uses a certain skill. After she stops practicing for about a day, her newfound skill and physical prowess fade, and she returns to being how she originally was.
LockedReactive Evolution - Now instead of just learning quickly, Free's body can actually change it's form, depending on her situation. If she's falling, she can grow wings, if she's swimming, she can grow gills. Even if she's just fighting, her skin can become armored or her muscles far more powerful. These changes only last until she stops using them, afterward she returns to her usual form.
Equipment/Inventory: Free has very little on her. Originally, she had a locket, but she quickly threw that away.

Regardless, I can make a character after midnight. If you absolutely need it before then, I can probably make it happen, but it won't be fun.
