Depending on the time of year, wolves in the same pack can spend time apart from each other.
Both are accepted. The whole one-night stand will add a very interesting element to the story.

Would you mind posting in the OOC tab first before moving to the character tab? Also, I guess I should have clarified this but the setting I had in mind was more of a North American temperate zone, hence the spruce and all that, and the species I was thinking was the gray wolf.

Personality: Before one gets to know her, she fits the stereotype of the Uutar. She is distrusting, touchy and can easily be made angry. However after another wolf earns her trust, she shows a side that is friendly, generous and playful. She likes to wrestle and show off her strength, and she is very proud of her identity as Uutar.
Appearance: Grizzled pale gray and black fur. Her left ear is half torn off. She has large paws, a short but thick tail and a mane of fur around her neck that makes her appear much larger than she actually is.
Other: The rest of the Uutar are killed by a rockslide.
