WIP (Obviously)

Appearance:

Name: Alda Bayne

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Grid: Slight

Secret Gift: Astral projection; can induce a trance in her physical body and create a "ghost" of herself that can pass through physical objects but also effect the physical world in limited ways, which include small flashes of light, knocking over or moving small/light objects, and creating small clouds of thin mist. She can do this at will, but because her control of this is limited, a big enough fright will cause her to enter a projection, which would appear in real life as fainting. Projecting leaves her 'real' body extremely vulnerable.

Weapon of Choice: An axe!

Gear: Medical gear, a bag of trail mix and a strong magnifying glass.

Bio: She discovered her power about a year ago during a powerful windstorm while she was taking a stroll through the forests of Slight. She was near the edge of the woods, where the wind picked up so much strength that it felled a tree, which narrowly pinned Alda by her lower leg when it fell (and broke the leg). The horror of the situation forced her into a projection; she thought she was dead because she could see her own body laying still on the ground but eventually managed to will herself back into her physical body.
The discovery caused her to grow apart from her family, and she became somewhat reclusive while she was recovering from the accident.

Habits: Walks with a limp. When she is stressed, she closes her eyes and becomes unresponsive.

Theme Song (Optional):

Boom, done!

Name: Aldo Wicks

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Sexual preference: Hetero

Human or werewolf: Werewolf

Pack member or loner: Pack member

Pack name: Odessa

Pack position: Regular pack member, although he is high on that list.

Appearance:

Strengths:
-Brave
-Helpful/generous
-Stronger than he looks

Weaknesses:
-Not too durable (cardiovascular) unless in wolf form
-Low pain tolerance (tied to the above)
-Shy around girls (that'll only bite him in the ass when it comes down to it)

Personality: He's a quiet, booky person who sometimes tries, often unsuccessfully, to be funny, and he loves puns- the worse the better. He sincerely wants to be able to pick up girls, but...he freezes up; he just gets too anxious. He works out in an attempt to look attractive, but the whole talking to ladies thing really just sabotages him regardless of looks. Around trusted people/good friends, he can be surprisingly loud, obnoxious, 'fun' and rowdy. Since he likes to switch forms, he eats. A lot. Very high calories...and he manages (because of all the energy he uses by transforming) not to put on any weight. Perfect exercise!

History: His childhood was...not extraordinary. It was, in fact, pretty boring, until he was eleven and found out that an older friend of his had been turned; that's how he discovered the existence of werewolves. Another year passed though, and his friend died because he hadn't found love. It was a hard experience for Aldo, and he was told that he should never become a werewolf.
He just couldn't shake off his fascination with the Odessa Pack though. He stayed friends with the werewolves, and was turned a couple of months ago after an accident in which he startled a werewolf and got scratched...deep.
Needless to say, when he got the wound treated and got home, all he could think was: "Shit."

Looks good to me.

Luz, who was now quite frightened by the amount of commotion going on, obediently put the knife away, as there was now another person yelling at her to stop. It seemed that her threat had successfully put off the white-haired woman from brutally murdering her (for now), which was a pleasant surprise and her goal accomplished, so she decided that the best thing to do at this point was to simply let Gwen free. Keeping an eye on Leo, whom she had zero trust for, she untangled the net and then cast the empty thing aside. She prayed all the while that this was not going to come back and bite her on the ass.

"I wanted to show the captain," she explained slowly to Balon. "I was of course fishing and didn't catch anything but her. I was so surprised that I decided I should take her back." There was a deep, shaky breath. "Didn't even know there were natives," she muttered and added in what she hoped was a lighthearted tone: "I guess we're having grubs tonight." Then her gaze wandered back to the fearsome, white-haired mermaid.
Sounds great. ^^
I think I'm interested! This would make a great novel, it sort of reminds me of Divergent. Would I be able to make a character who's a 'wild' anomalous (or at least one wild one, for later)? Also, what kind of powers are we talking and what are the limits? I have an idea in mind but I don't want to overstep any boundaries.
The sound of groaning from inside the net made Luz startle and swing the net around to her front so she could get a look at its contents. Then the--the thing gave a scream before appearing to go limp again; the noise made Luz cringe and almost move to cover her ears, but she didn't because she was not going to drop her net and let this girl-jellyfish-thing go.

But of course, this scream wasn't enough. There was a fierce-looking, white-haired woman running straight for Luz, making her eyes widen in utter terror; she also finally dropped the net. Shit, shit, shit. This was a mistake. Now that her hands were free though, she got out her knife and yelled. "Get back! Don't take another step or...!" Think fast-- she knelt over the net and the woman it contained. "Or I'll kill this woman!"

Sweet, I'm in!
