I'd imagine there would be a floor (or multiple) for lodging purposes. And I can certainly see a chore system being put in place when it comes to washing clothes and cooking meals. After all, heroes will need to be self-sufficient on their journeys and such independence would certainly need to be cultivated somehow.

Great! Any ideas for a role or characters? I'd like to wait until we have at least 3-4 players before setting things up.
Completely understandable! Mm, I'm tempted to pen a student and/or an instructor personally. Detail-wise I'm not entirely certain.
That might not be something I want to start imagining at such an ungodly hour, pfft.

I decided to sign up for a forum at about... 2:00 in the morning so this probably won't be that great.
As seems to be the case with a lot of newcomers, I'm not new to forum roleplay by any means. I'm a little out of practise, though. I have a weakness for adventure or mystery themed stories, especially ones that are in period-esque settings. Talk to me about magic systems and you'll end up listening to a dork ramble for a good two hours.
I'll call my writing length/style a cross between "when a high school student has to adhere to a word count minimum" and "the actual epitome of word vomit if said word vomiter was slightly tipsy", but I'd say I'm decent enough.
