"Yeah, here ya go..." I handed Isaac back his knife and stood up. "I'm gonna go with Ilyssa..." I informed everyone, going into the little crawlspace to find Ilyssa. The place was so weirdly designed. Ilyssa was in the bedroom, if you could call it that. "Erm... Need any help with anything...?"

I nodded and did my best to cauterize the the wounds. I finished and looked at Alex's face. It didn't look any better, but the bleeding stopped and hey, I didn't pass out! "Is it okay...? I'm not sure it looks any better."

"Okay..." I put the knife in the fire until it was dull red, then took it out. His smile wasn't that reassuring, but I wasn't going to tell him that. I went over to Alex with Isaac and mentally freaked out a little when I saw how bad it was. "I have the knife..." I said awkwardly, crouching beside Kludd and Alex. I shakily cauterized most of the worst cuts on Alex's face, trying not to cringe.

Everyone was either being helpful or being helped. I felt a little useless... I mean, hey, I had a lighter, so that's something. But I was still just kinda... There. I fidgeted nervously with my left wrist as I watched Isaac deal with the fire and listened to Ilyssa say something about Alex's wounds. "Can I ah... I can I help with something...?" I asked Isaac and handing him my lighter.
