Please let me know before you post any sub events. I don't want the plot to end up revolving around a character, not that I think that is what you are doing. So please just tell me what you plan on doing before you do it please and thank you :)

Of course, that goes without saying. It's just want to bring Luka's stalker/s into play~

*Grins cheerfully*

Money pools are not for swimming in!
Indeed, I'm actually thinking of a few sub events to revolve around Luka that I can insert in from time to time, just fleshing out the ideas before I commit to anything concrete. I'll get a normal post up tomorrow night.
“Yeah, I guessed that,” Maxwell said with a genuinely warm smile, not offended in the slightest by Jackson's comment. Instead he simply got out of the guys way. Being angry was never productive. But doing nothing with that anger was even worse. At least by giving his anger a voice he would get it out into the open. With that said Maxwell had considered following after Jackson just in case he went a little overboard, which with the guy in question was a very real possibility, however in the end had opted against sticking his nose in any further. Besides, with Jackson gone it was left entirely to him to watch the entrance of the ‘tree house’. Which was not entirely a bad deal considering the uncomfortable vibes that he had gotten from the place. It didn't want him in there and the feeling was, as they say, mutual.

And in the end it didn't matter either way since Kanoa came trailing out of the house a few moments later with the others in tow, including Jackson. He listened with rapt attention to the various details that were offered by different members of the group, some more fantastical than others. But considering the ‘talents’ of those assembled not entirely beyond belief. And the more he listened the more sinister the house started to feel. Less like it was rejecting him and more that it meant him physical harm. But also the less nervous he became. The explanations were going fine for a little while, however Jackson seemed to be dancing on the edge of whatever tightrope he seemed to be metaphorically straddling.

He watched as Jackson backed away, consumed by another internal battle that must have been raging within. Unfortunately he didn't know how to help him, at least for the moment. He turned toward Kanoa. “I'm not saying that I agree with Jackson entirely but it’s easy to understand where he’s coming from. Learning through experience has its merits. No doubt. But not all us can go on faith alone,” he said in a neutral tone. He raised his hands in a conciliatory manner and looked between Jackson and Kanoa.

“How about this. For now we just carry on as is, at least until we get back to town. After that, maybe we can have a little talk, clear the air, that kind of thing. And perhaps then you can show us something a little more concrete than theory and folklore. It doesn't have to be much, books, images, documents, things that have been recorded by those who know about this kind of stuff. How about it, Leader?” Maxwell had already spoken more in the last few days than he did in the average week, or at least that was how it felt to him. It was taxing.

Louise

@Flamelord

“Yes Sir!” Louise said with a light hearted tone as she snapped him a mock salute before hoping off from her broom and onto the ground. “Bring me back something nice, you hear!?” Louise called as she watched Archer do his thing, shifting into his ethereal state so that he would go undetected by the bases personnel and security systems. Unless of course the military had installed some kind of state of the art top secret spiritual detection mechanism. Which they didn’t. Probably. Either way it was too late to worry now. Which left Louise on her own on the other side of a chain linked fence waiting for Archer to return.

Louise considered finding somewhere to hide in case their approach had generated some kind of response, automated or otherwise. Strictly speaking of course there was no law that said that she could not loiter on this side of the fence, provided that she showed no inclination to trespass. But then again civilian laws and military doctrine were not always the most compatible of bedfellows, especially when secrets were concerned. However if she was already being observed then running off to hide would look even more suspicious. So for now she decided to take stock of the situation.

Louise turned away from the base and looked around. “Bleh.” Sparse was by far the word of choice, with little to see save the occasional dead tree and rock protruding above the long grass. Of course she had seen the lay of the land on the way in and from the air no less but looking around at ground level had its advantages as well. Most importantly it let her form a rough idea of how far away she could be observed from, especially by someone who might have happened to follow her and Archer. And in turn the distance at which she in turn could see anyone approach. Though even that was of only moderate importance.

Louise by her own admission was not well prepared offensively for the battles that were to come, her only attack craft was all but completely incapable of inflicting serious injury to even the softest of targets. At best she could deliberately burst someone’s eardrums. A distraction at best. But when it came to her defensive capacity it was another story entirely. In this case she was thinking of her ability to avoid battle altogether. Should the need arise she could use her Prana to enable the ‘Jet Method’ which with enough warning would allow her to outrun even the fastest of Servants. And with enough altitude she could be beyond the reach of most entirely, especially out of the city with nothing that they could scale for height. So for now she was safe enough, or at least she assumed so.

Louise roughly pulled her witch style hat out from her bag before tossing the bag to the side. She took a moment to straighten her hat, nodding to herself once satisfied. She then pulled a pair of goggles over her eyes before following Archer, jumping off of the ledge in pursuit of her Servant. Though it took her a moment to catch up she eventually managed to match her speed with that of her Servants so that at the apex of his jumps the two of them would be level with each other.

“Neat huh? It a combination of two distinct invoked phenomena, ‘repelled by the earth’ and ‘foot not making contact with the ground’. The combined effect is that I can levitate in place for prolonged periods of time. Not indefinitely of course, I’m not ignoring gravity completely, just negating it to a point. That’s why you need to add some form of propulsion to the mix, especially if you want to actually get anywhere,” Louise explained in a cheerful, casual manner. Archer was an intelligent man in life so she assumed he was still possessed of that same curiosity that must have fuelled him in life. Plus she preferred conversation to silence. She was not the stoic type. “It’s easier for females to pull off, so as you can imagine it’s a pretty popular form of transportation.”

It didn’t take them long before they left the main city boundaries and entered the outmost districts. Once free from the city it wouldn’t take them long to reach the nearest military base. “So what’s the plan Archer? Want me to find a safe place to hang back out of sight? I suppose it’s pretty easy for you to get in and out unseen but I’m pretty conspicuous.”

“I assumed that you might,” Charlotte said from behind Jacob. It was not that she had responded overly quickly to his summons but rather that she had been close by to begin with. Behind him in fact. Stalking people came easily to her class after all, to the point that she almost didn’t realize that she was doing it. Of course she had been in her ethereal form so the majority of people would not have seen her to begin with. Her Master had seemed distracted, or focused, she couldn’t yet tell. Either way. “Do you like?”

Charlotte had been clothes shopping. It had been with other people’s money but that was beside the point. The style itself was very similar to that which she had donned the night before, a brown scarf wrapped around her neck, tossed over her shoulder, a brown coat over a pale yellow jumper with a blue skirt. On her feet a pair of soft brown boots that extended above the ankle. The only true difference was these clothes were real, so unlike those that she had ethereally manifested previously they had labels, and receipts. Both of which would be useful for maintaining any future ruse. She bought other clothes as well but they were already secreted away for another, more public, occasion. The true difference was with her hair, which was now vibrant and full of life when compared to how it been when she had first manifested. The post execution look was not becoming.
@Constantine
Let me know if you had anything special planed for Assassin. I have no idea what she has been up to this entire time. I can change that post if need be.

Naw, your post will work perfectly well for me~
I like how "Take Archer to a gun store to look at physical weapons" became "let's break in/rob the JSDF". :D

It's not that bad, we could rob the police armoury instead...

“Ah, Archer! Don’t be atypical man, never willing to take the lead!” Louise said with a cheerful laugh, deliberately ignoring mention of her acquiring a weapon to defend herself with. She was still not entirely comfortable with the idea of having to fight another human being. Self-defence was one thing but inflicting deliberate harm was another, though with that said she mentally conceded that should it come to it she might not have a choice. The other Masters might not give her a choice. And as her talents lay almost completely in nonaggressive forms of magecraft a weapon of some variety would be required. However the thought of guns gave her an idea. She turned toward Archer excitedly. “An arsenal indeed!”

She walked away, hurried retrieving her phone from her skirt pocket while rapidly inputting a series of commands to unlock the rarely used device. After a moment she found what she was looking for and turned back toward Archer and showed him the screen. On the screen there was the image of a chain fence with a no entry sign courtesy of the JDF. “If it’s an armoury that we need then why not aim a little higher, my ethereal friend,” Louise said some small degree of satisfaction. However if this idea proved too dangerous for Archer to go along with it also brought another straight to mind. “Or failing that the police must have at least one armoury within the city limits, right? Oh, I’m getting excited, it’s like a shopping trip with somebody else’s credit card! Lead the way!”
“Yeah, that right, you sure you’re not just trying to lure me into your secret lair? Have your wicked little way with me?” Silk replied in a cheerful, playful manner, her mood improving with every step that she took. Which was understandable, considering each step took her away from the danger. Silk was no coward and she could fight well enough when she had to. But that was only when she had to. She preferred more subtle solutions when at all possible. She danced around to face Matthew while continuing to walk backwards. “Or perhaps you were hoping that I might be particularly…grateful? she said in a suggestive manner, her tone matching her expression.

She then burst out laughing, patting Matthew on the back. “I’m just joking with you. But you do have a point, we need to lay low until the heat dies down a little. And since this mystery man seems to know me so well it might be best if you take the lead, at least for the moment. But just remember, I’m not cheap, so watch your hands mister!” Silk called out cheerfully, waving her sword playfully into the air. She was only half joking.

Meanwhile…

Back outside the tavern, standing alone in a secluded dark corner stood Isaac. He watched with an amused look on his face as he beheld the commotion in the bar reach its eventual conclusion, a group of Raiders dragging their unconscious leader outside with some considerable effort. He lit up a cigar, the pale flash of the match striking momentarily lighting up his exceptionally plain features. It had been, he considered, money very well spent. The little dove had flown the scene as he had expected she would. The fact that she had acquired company was no surprise. He knew Silk was rather talented in roping people in. It would be fun, when push came to shove, to see how quickly she betrayed him. Without anyone seeing him he slipped quietly into the hustle of the street, disappearing from sight.

“Oh, I don’t know, the flowers that grow here have a certain charm to them,” Louise said with a wide cheerful grin as she walked up beside Archer and looked out over the area. She listened to him as he listed his concerns and nodded, pausing thoughtfully for a moment as she considered their options. “Well, that depends on what it is that you actually need. Chemicals I can synthesis in the labs without raising too many eyebrows. Metals, well, if it’s basic stuff, iron or steel, there are plenty of options that can provide us with material in fairly large quantities. Say, construction sites and abandoned factories? Heck, we could probably scourge up some mechanical components that might be of use to us. I have magecraft that can make them as good as new.”

As she spoke Louise walked over to a specific section of ledge and laid down on her chest so that she could reach down over the edge. After a moment of rooting around she found what she was looking for, her hands closing around a piece of solid, engraved wood. “I hate to break it to you but this country is not so hot when it comes to personal gun ownership. I don’t know if any the stores here would be able to supply anything beyond basic hunting weaponry,” Louise said as she found and released the straps that where holding the broom to the underside of the ledge. She got back to her feet with a satisfied look on her face, an old fashioned looking straw broom held firmly by the shaft. Along its surface ran a series of complicated and intricate engravings.

“Though with that said I’m not particularly well versed in firearms myself, so I dunno where else to look, sorry,” she said, dusting herself off. She then looked at Archer expectantly. “So, Mr Archer, what do you think we should do?”
