The room was full of exhibits. Most of them were old instruments that looked interesting.

@Aisling "This photo was taken around 1900. We studied together in Zurich," Ioan explained. "He studied physics, math and education and I studied physics, math and astronomy. Albert never got around well with his professors, mainly because he was a Jew and they were nazis. And you know what he did once?" Ioan smiled thinking of it. "One day, at lunch, he sat down next to his professor, and the professor said, 'Eagles don't eat with swines.' And Albert countered, 'I'll fly away in a minute.'"

Since they had entered the observatory through the personnel entrance, the next room to be shown was the visitor's entrance hall. A big stellar map showing all 88 constellations hung on the wall, around it different old photos. Ioan pointed at one that showed him, standing next to a young man. "That was when I studied," Ioan said. "I could still walk there. And do you know who that young man is?"
