RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

Elizabeth blinked when he said something about there being a different forever. She didn't understand , because to her there was only one way to describe 'forever'.. She smiled and waved him off as he left, sending a small prayer to God for his safety.

During his time away, she stripped and refolded her new change of clothes so they weren't all wrinkly when she got out of the shower. While she hummed it the luke warm shower, she thought of many things. Connor was more safety oriented than he had been before. She frowned, why did that bother her. She stared at the shower head nozzle for a moment beofre groaning to ehrself. The man from last night. Usually, she would have said that someone could have broken in after they left but that only worked when you checked out...and she was so shocked by her own doing that she had rushed them out of there...thus causing them to flee before actually checking out.

She knew that she and connor had gone through measures not to be traced, but now they would be suspects in his death, and she wasn't sure if she and connor had been non-descript enough. She was glad now that her tattoo had been covered up.

Thank you God, for giving me foresight.

if only she had had enough foresight to allow time for them to check out. She paused, the key to their room still had to be in the car of his coat pocket. That would need to be addressed. No evidence..no evidence. As she ended her shower, she stepped out, dried off, and checked her hair color. She was pleased to note that her special shampoo had dulled down the color from the black it had been to a dark brown. It would be enough of a difference for her not to get picked out. She pulled out some small hair curlers she had packed into her purse just in case this happened. a three hundred year old vampire had to have he ways of disappearing after all...and a curly brunette was a lot different than a straight haired raven.

She pulled out her makeup set and was considering what kind she'd wear this time when she heard the door close harder than was usual, when she peaked out, she also heard a click. That wasn't good news. her mind rushed, taking in his appearance out of habit. They might need to make him disappear too.

"How bad is it?"
When he placed his hand where her heart was, she wished that it could beat right then and there so that he could feel i like she did every time she touched his chest. It wouldn't, but she didn't cry. She knew they were growing closer to their goal, and the sound of his conviction soothed her even more. Someday, it would beat for him to feel.

Her other hand found his when he reached up to push away her hair. She too felt perfectly fine just staying there, sitting on top of him, and expressing her feelings for him through a silent language they seemed to have suddenly developed. When her voiced the same feelings, however, she only grinned at him.

"You say that now, but 'forever' is a long time." she reminded him, making a slight reference to her age though she was nowhere near infinity years old.

She slipped off of him, with some reluctance, and patted his knee. "I have to rest now,...if only to give you time to do your work. Remember, I left some cash for you in your car. It should make it easier for you to do what you have to." she paused, almost in thought. "Actually...I'm going to take a proper shower while we are here. I'm going to get tired of the smell of 'lake' soon." she said, wrinkling her nose in jest.
She laughed into the kiss a bit as they fell onto the bed, but it remained a very good kiss. When he had to pull away, the poor human, she kept their foreheads touching a bit, enjoying every bit of contact. Finally she sat up and looked him over, practically grinning and laughed again at how cute and flushed he looked.

Finally, after she had her laugh, she took a deep breath 9even though, yes, she doesn't technically need to breathe) and sighed a great, happy sigh. She placed her hand over his heart, feeling its rapid beat through her finger tips. "I also want things to happen." She told him, feeling like it would be good to cement things between them. "Lots of things...maybe...sharing a heartbeat...someday, even." She would have blushed if her body allowed for it.
She nodded, getting the idea that things are going to be harder for them now. but on the birhgt side, she told herself, they would save money.

As if a vampire as old as herself needed to save money.

"You plan what you need to then," she said, pulling out the wad of money from before and setting it on the dashboard, "I'll make sure not to unpack , so that I'm ready when you are."

She followed him inside, waiting for him to set everything down and do his usual sweep of the place. But she closed the door and looked at him, looking a bit like a mischevious sort of predator but not like she did when she was hungry for blood. she slowly stalked towards him, knowing that she wasn't going to take no for an answer for what she had in mind. a little closer and she pounced! Right onto him/ into his arms. Her kiss was as hungry as his had been before, but longer, because she was hungrier.

He may have been a nice guy forced to be alone for 4 years after nearly dying...but she was an adventurous socialite who was forced to be alone for several hundred years after actually dying.
It was a long, silent drive. Very silent. Very long.

Even though it took those couple hours until the sun started peeking up for them to get to town, and she had had that long to think things over...she still could think straight enough to figure out what to do or say. She felt that he deserved something, she wasn't punishing him for anything. But there was nothing she could think of.

She almost jumped when his voice broke the silence, imagining that she heart would be going like a racehorse if it still worked. She didn't want to get her hopes up though, so she didn't look directly at him as he spoke.

But when he had gotten done, she felt an emottional sort of warmth well within her and she smiled. Not only did he finally say that he wasn't dead, but he said that she wasn't either. It didn't mean quite the same thing to her, since she had technically died, but she found herself incredibly happy that he said that...and, in his own way, that he wanted to be with her. She looked over, still smiling, and gently laid her hand on his . It wasn't enough to disturb any of his driving, but enough to just be able to touch him, to have that connection.

"I'm glad." she said finally, "because I feel alive. "
She turned to him with a sense of eagerness that she never saw coming, and that excitement built up and joined togetehr soemwhat with nervousness as he came towards her. He tried to speak, she tried to listen - but instead she just ended up in his arms and she lost her head, feeling swept away as they met for another, though more intensive kiss.

She was human again, completely alive. Not only that, but everything around her ceased to exist as he gave her his physical confession of his feelings.

Soon it ended, and he found herself on the ground again, outside in the dark, and watching him walk away. she stood and stared at nothing in particular for a moment. Her mind barely registered the sound of the car getting unlocked and the door opening and shutting. it took a bit for the message to get all the way through, and when it did she complied silently, getting in and buckling up. She continued to stare infront of her though, unsure of what to do or say. Where should she go from here? It felt like anything she would do or say would break the remnants of magic she felt between them.

What does a person do or say after they've had a reality altering kiss?
For one moment, his warm body engulfed her. She was close enough to feel it start to soak in and she could feel his strong hearbeat against her. For one moment, her mind reached out and could imagine that she was human again. She fell in love with that moment.

But it was just a moment, and she felt herself being pushed away - her moment of humanity litterally ripped away from her.

She quickly regained her balance and looked to him, trying to scope out what was going on, what feelings he might be displaying to give her a sense of what to do next. But he just turned from her, and she heard some vague words. Part of her was happy, part of her was sad, she was definitely disappointed....but, even though she thought she should feel hurt by his rejection, she didn't. A calm-ish, but sad understanding came over her. They couldn't be together like that.

Well...there were no more issues -besides the fact they couldn't be together- so she refocussed herself around why they were so far away from her apartment in the first place. She looked to the sky, it wasn't quite ligh yet. But the birds were chirping, a sure sign that sunrise would be soon. She looked over to him, and reached out to rub his shoulder. He had turned away so maybe she shouldn't have...but she wanted him to know that it was alright, that she wasn't angry or upset.

"Come on. We should get to wherever we're going so that we can rest. I took my medicine, so you shouldn't feel too rushed." She told him, gently, like a kid who had scraped their knee. She used that soft, almost motherly tone, because she wasn't sure if anything else was appropriate to get him out of his thoughts about them and get back to business.

And with that, she gathered what she had set down to talk to him and walked over to the other side of the car.
When he revealed his bite marks, Elizabeth was almost overwhelmed by the feeling that some other vampiress had touched him, and found that she had the desire to bite over those marks to claim him as hers...what a strange feeling that was.

Luckily, or unluckily, she was drawn away from those thoughts. She listened to him again. Listened to his pessimism again. Her body grew tense, her grip tightened as she found herself angered by what he was saying. Not because he was forced into a certain life, but because he was saying that he had no choices in that life - when she knew better because she was one of those choices. She was about to quite literally bite his head off because of the shit he was talking about. She found it offensive not only to her one and only dream, but to the kind grace of God that her had received that she felt denied of and had to suffer that denial for three centuries. She was so into it that she considered giving him a life or death ultimatum, a chance to end the misery he so claimed to have....even if it would cost her her soul.

But just as she felt a tightening in her chest, a goodbye to her future...she caught herself looking down at his chest, her ears attuned to it from earlier. She grew less tense, her grip loosening. She let go of his face but kept him there. His heart was back to being even. It had been fluttering a little bit ago, when she touched his chest. Soon, she felt that she understood what was actually going on. He had invited her along with the promise of converting her even though he didn't have to, he returned her kindnesses, he didn't kill her right away when started to get dangerous, he purposefully kept her alive....he even technically killed a man for her.

A small smile and a sense of calm over took her, and again, she placed her hand over his heart. "Stop pretending that you're dead." she told him, looking back into his eyes and leaning up and in. "because you're not."

She closed the distance even more, the space between them being destroyed with a gentle kiss.
And she listened, she listened to all of it. He didn't answer all of her questions, but he answered the ones that seemed to matter. She felt hurt and pity for him when he spoke harshly about himself, and was touched by the last few things he had said. She looked up at him, seeing his pain...knowing now how frustrated he must being feeling about himself, and baout what's been happening. She vaguely noted where they were going, destination wise, but her mind kept replaying the more emotional part of his answer to her.

She placed her hand over his heart, again feeling his heatrtbeat. "You're wrong..' she said finally, quietly, "about being inhuman...People will do things for their own gain, commit sins...that is as part of being human as much as caring for another or being selfless is. And, Connor...you ARE still human. You are not some selfish asshole who only thinks for himself. If you were as bad as you feel you are, you would not have let me or that werewolf live. You wouldn't care about the farm being in your family...you wouldn't care about losing Bessie....why...if you didn't care about anyone but yourself...I doubt you would have been a hunter in the first place."

Gently, she puts her hands on either side of his face and looks at him. "but you ARE a hunter. You protect innocent people from being slaughtered or turned. You saw past my curse, and that of the werewolf girl. You gave us refuge when we needed it. You care for Bessie so much, she has connected with you and few others. You saved a girl from being raped...gave me something to hope for, didn't give up on me when I started to...and even though you've rationalize that that werewolf girl is probably dead, you're hoping that she isn't...and all you want...is to not be alone...and to feel like it's all been worth it...that you did some good with your life. Connor...I wish to tell you so much that you have done more than your fair share of good things...but I'm not even sure if I can break through this wall of self-doubt that you have up around you."
"about where we're going..and what's going on in your head." She closed in on him a bit,. She could tell that he was nervous and frightened but she felt like she had to know, that she had to push the limits to get her answers. After all, he was the leader here - but she had thoughts and feelings too. she needed to know what has changed between them in order to know how to proceed with their kind of teamwork.

She had him against the car, but this time she only slowly went for his hands. "What was going through your head when I had you against the wall? What was going through your head when you switched out your ammo? What was going through your head when you shot me?" She looked at him directly in the eyes now, "What were you thinking about when you went out to find someone for me? When you threw him into the room? When you waited outside? When you did not look or speak to me for almost the entire ride here? What were you thinking about so much that you, a hunter, did not notice when someone walked up to you? I know you have things on your mind, and they must weigh pretty heavily for you to do something completely different than what you've done before you met me....But I left a fairly comfortable life because of you, and I need to know where the hell I am going."

(oh please do not try to answer any of those before she gets done speaking XD)

She looked intent for a while before dropping her eyes and quieting down, "I also need to know why the one person I need to stay alive is making such stupid mistakes all the time...when I know he's better than that." She sighed, and her shoulders dropped as she went to lay her head on his chest. She could hear his heart beat very clearly now, but she didn't move or twitch. She just listened.
