RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

His ability with always be on the small side such as these examples.

General Personality: Quiet, kind, generous. He doesn't build trusting relationship easily, and has all but completely lost faith in humanity.

Background:
Allendrois was born a twin and grew up with said twin. They played well together but not as well with other children. Eventually His twin took more of an interest with the other children than Allendrois did, and he'd spend time with them each day. Though, being so close to his brother, he'd always come back and spend time with him. Still Allendrois would occasionally get upset when his brother disappeared, and wouldn't tell him that it bothered him. So during the times that his twin was gone, he would read or help his mom around. He still didn't want to bother too much with the noisy business of playing with all the village kids.

Becoming slowly bitter over the years, Allendrois eventually became a bit of a delinquent. His twin still ddn't know about what was bothering him, and the only person he seemed to solidly respect was the eldest councilwoman. If he was not found with his twin or mother, it was a safe bet that he would be found reading or helping the councilwoman.

It was clear to all, and one day his mother was approached about it because his rebelliousness was starting to affect the entire village. So she secretly asked someone to be his mentor and to teach him respect. The training was strict. Allendrois tried many times to escape using his morphing powers but his mentor was smart, fast, and agile. He never got away once. and what was more, he was severely punished for his escape attempts. He didn't like it one bit, but he had discipline and respect ground deep into his being.

The councilwoman, who he was still allowed to visit, worried about his personal sense of inner balance so would tell him stories about when his kind and the kind they used to look after. He liked the stories, and liked that she was hopeful that someday thing would be like that again, but he personally thought she was foolish.

A year passed, and Allendrois became more and more engrossed with his training that it seemed training had become his life...until he was supposed to the death bed of the old councilwoman. He, his brother and two others. Suddenly being hit with guilt for his lack of visiting her in her bad health, he readily agreed to the task she asked of them. Go find the other kind, and see if they could be trusted again with their special bonds and protection.

(A magical animal morphing person who was born and raised in a village of his kind for a few human generations. His kind has mostly lost faith in the people that believe in them, due to them becoming selfish, foolish beings. Allendrois (Allen) was raised in this village setting, with the only person holding some belief still in those outside beings was the eldest woman chieftain/counsil member, whom Allen respected even though he disagreed with her ongoing trust. Even so, he and three others were gathered to promise her that they would try again, for it was her last wish in this living world. he fully intends on keeping this promise, but he doubts his ability to find anyone worth the trust of him and his village. this is just here to remind me what I expanded on)
"one of many beginnings?" she muttered, carefully looking at the book. "Then...vampires are a common human curse?" She felt the cover, trying to imagine how old this was. maybe the hunter hunted cain...she wondered if he had succeeded. she gently searched the translated pieces, making sure to keep everything in order. Certainly it would be a pain in the ass to put back together.

She looked up as he spread the information out to be viewed. "I never expect any information like this to be completed...vampire society doesn't chang emuch..but we're good at keeping secrets....though...are you sure you should be allowing me to see this? I never said I was an ally" he looked up at him. though the truth was....she was considering it now.
The joking aside, she watched him as he walked over to the bookshelf. When he read to her, her eyes widened and tears escaped her without her notice. When she was done her gazed traveled slowly down to the floor. Glancing over at the chair she had just gotten up from, she quietly walked over and sat right back down. She layed both her hands on the table infront of her and looked at them for a time before intertwining them and layed her head atop them. "Thank you" she said quietly.

"May I see that book? and the heirarchy that you mentioned?"
She nodded, getting up, stretching, and fussing with her hands a bit. eventually she puled out another towelette to take care of it. "I'll take you up on your offer...both of them."

On the thought of Meyers she gave a low annoyed hiss, "as for Meyers...her literary work is an affront to all things in the realm of vampire." she looked at him, " I have no pride in being what I am."

"Vampires are monsters.." she said quietly, to herself, before talking to Connor again. "..but...blood suckers that only stay away because they sparkle is incredibly stupid. i feel that those books should be dispatched of in a way similar to how a real vampire would be without protection in then sun AND-" she smiled wryly at this upcoming part, "she is one of the few I would consider actually turning."
hmmm interesting concept but not something i'd pursue at the moment, sorry v.v
He raised an eyebrow at her, finding it as amusing as annoying.

"Enough.' he said, raising his voice,"If you do not act like a proper witch...or any other humanoid for that matter...i will freeze YOU in place. Am I understood?"
"Um...no...no technically...being dead, nothing is really needed except blood. But we all do get more aggressive...cranky... without it. Your new, modern vampire children don't seem to understand that so they try continuing a 24 hour day."

She sat back more, looking about her, her eyes traveling to the window. "They are naive like that."

Her eyes snapped back to him, "Not complete darkness, but obviously we can't have sunlight in the room." she blinked after saying that, and felt her own hands. It dawned on her that he had closed the curtains a while ago..and she could have washed off the sunscreen.
sure
She didn't seem it, but she gave mild consideration to what he was saying about technology. maybe she could start learning about computers through phones...maybe he could help her even. Though why he was so helpful, she wasn't sure. this was going beyond being nice to guests...at least from her experience, it was.

As far as the ghost deterring was concerned, she only listened quietly and nodded. She already knew about ghosts and salt..but she wasn't familiar with the use of metal shavings. She made a mental note of it, because she was sure it would come in handy at some point of her long life.

More questions about vampires...she supposed she should get used to it if she was going to stay here. "They used to. Now, as you can see, we can be awake anytime we want. I still sleep though- from early morning to early evening. Fortunately, I can claim to work from home."
