Gundam Build Fighters Origin [Open]

“Um... I'm Sousuke Kikkawa?" A voice said and Nanashi immediately looked at its source. Blonde hair? Check. Gunpla on belt? Check. 3rd year? Unless this is the wrong class then check.

Nanashi pushed past the others and approached the sitting 3rd year. “*whistle* cool hat man, you look like a gangsta.” He said with a chuckle. “Well anyways, I want to ask you something.” He said clearing his throat. “Sousuke Kikkawa, Please join the .. the um .. er … I-I’m sorry but, is your Gunpla damaged?” He said looking at the SD Master Gundam on Sousuke’s desk. “I mean, you must have got hit in the joints or something while piloting because it looks like it can fall apart any second now.” He said rubbing his cheeks. The joints weren’t tight enough, the Gunplas hands weren’t clipped correctly and it looked like the frame hadn’t even been glued yet, but it seemed to have already been cleaned!! “Y’know, if you want I can help you with that.”

April 25th

Almost a week has passed since the beginning of the school year at ---. And after a week of being depressed about the school not having a Gunpla club, transfer student Nanabi Kanzen creates the --- Gunpla Battle Club!!!

… well, that's how it was supposed to go, but in reality.

“Please join the Gunpla Battle Club!”

“Sorry man, not interested.”

“Thanks for the invite but I’d rather watch than play.”

“I suck at piloting. There's no way.”

“I'm to busy with the volleyball club.”

“Screw off!”

Nanashi fell to the ground on all 4. “D-dammit, is no one really interested in Gunpla?” He said with comedic tears in his eyes. His lunch time recruitment plan not going as well as he'd hope.

“Yo, Senpai?” A voice said from behind him. Nanashi looked behind him to see Mika, a first year he met on his first day transferring to --- and a part time member of the Gunpla Battle Club. “Is it really that important that we get a third member?”

Nanashi quickly stood up and faced her. “Of COURSE it is Mika, school rules say that unless we got 3 members we can't make a club!” He said wagging his finger. “Plus with a third member we have the option of 3v3 battles.”

Mika sighed, “I honestly don't really see the point. Even if we can't find a third member isn't there another tournament that you can enter by yourself?”

“The Under 19 1v1 bracket. There's also a 2v2 bracket as well as a new free for all tournament. But this isn't about tournament!” He says with fire in his eyes. “All I want is to make a club where I can be surrounded by people who love Gunpla and enjoy it to the fullest” he said pumping his fist.

“... Senpai.”

“Plus.” He started with a grin. “If we become an official club, that means we’ll get a budget.” He said with a smile. “A school funded utopia of Gunpla building!!” He said while a laughing.

“Ugh, and here I thought you were being deep and profound.” She said with an irritated look. “Well anyways I think I got us a lead on our third member.”

Nanashi jolted at the mention. “What! Really?! Who?” He asked. Excited.

“Err, well I hear that he's this pretty skilled battler that sometimes shows up at the arcade. But apparently he's, and I'm quoting my sister on this, a ‘Cocky Dick’ as she says.”

“... man your sister is mean.” Nanashi says with a sweat drop.

“Uh yah. Anyways,” she says taking out a piece of paper with some writing on it “he's a blonde guy with a Gunpla case on his belt in class 3-A-” she says but it cut off by Nanashi flying past her. Leaving her alone in the middle of the hallway. She looked down at the paper again. “Ugh, that Senpai, I didn't even tell him the guys name. Sousuke Kikkawa. 3rd year.”

Nanashi ran through the halls of the school, checking every room one by one and asking random people while looking for him.

Nanashi

Name: Nanashi Kanzen

Appearance:

Personality: Excitable, Childish, and Thoughtful.

Background: Ever since seeing the Star Build Strike Gundam in the 7th World Tournament, Nanashi has become obsessed with Gunpla. Although he loves battling, he loves building much more. Having built replications of custom Gunplas like Maohs X Gundam and Ricardo's Wing Gundam Fenice.

Battling/Building Ability: Although Nanashi’s battling ability is average, he makes up for it with his Gunplas superb making. His Gunplas performance and Nanashi’s Gunpla knowledge keeps him from losing to other extremely talented battlers.

Mobile Suits:
-Name: Origin Strike Gundam
-Description: A pure white enhanced Strike Gundam with black features and an opening in the back of the neck that creates a plavsky particle scarf. The suit gains color depending on what Striker Pack is Equip. The Origin is also equipped with 4 circle shaped funnels that can create a particle shield and shoot independently. The Scarf can move around also like a pair of sub arms, being able to wrap around opponents to restrict them or to help repair broken off limbs.

-Name: Origin Zaku Warrior
-Description: An enhanced Zaku Warrior that's just painted white instead of green.

-Name: Origin Zaku Phantom
-Description:The Origin Zaku Phantom is the upgraded version of the Zaku Warrior, using parts from a Zaku Phantom kit. It has the two shoulder shiels as well as a thired one on its back. All shields hold a beam tomahawk and multiple missile pods, all able to fire homingh missiles. Lastly, the rifle is replaced with a beam sniper from a GM sniper unit.

Mobile Armors/Support Fighters:
-Name: Skyscraper
-Description: A support flier that equips and delivers Striker packs to the Origin Strike Gundam mid battle. It can utilize the effects of whatever pack is equipped. It's been modified to be remotely controlled by the Origin Strike Gundam.

Gundam Build Fighters Origin

Back in the 1980s, the success of the series Mobile Suit Gundam resulted in an economic boom due to sales of the Gundam model kits, or "Gunpla”, dubbed the Gunpla Boom. Years later, with the success of the second Gunpla Boom, special tournaments called Gunpla Battles are established throughout the world to see which customized Gunpla and its builder are the best. These incredibly popular Gunpla Battles culminate in an annual global tournament.

It's been 15 years since Reiji and Sei Competed in the world tournament, and 8 since Team Try Fighters competed in the under-19 tournament. But, this isn't about either of them. This is about the students of Ichikawa Private High School. Or more specifically, Ichikawa’s Gunpla Battle Club.

For a long time Ichikawa High had been the only Highschool in its area to not have a Gunpla Battle Club despite having many students and faculty that love Gunpla. That is until this year, where Nanashi Kanzen creates it.

The Under 19 has multiple separate tournaments that consist of a singles, doubles, and triple tournament.
