"Piss me off and I just might Jean." Rai responded with a cocky grin. He looked over his gauntlets for a moment before being lead out of the room by Guren. "Hey this place doesn't look so bad" Rai stated before walking over to a nearby cot. Rai dropped his gauntlets just to the side of his cot and laid down before saying "I agree, time to rest, see ya guys in the morning."

"It's been such a long time, I would love to see all of you again. Oh wait I almost forgot, I'm dead." She said, her words cutting into Rai like daggers. "I'm dead because you left us, I'm dead because you did nothing, I'm dead because you were weak and too afraid to do anything!" She roared. Rai stood there stunned but he knew this wasn't real, he knew that Aya would never have called him out for these things, so this had to be a demon's doing. Rai looked up to "Aya" and said "You're not Aya, and I know that for a damn fact demon!" The demon visibly recoiled at Rai's words, so Rai kept pressing his advantage. "Yeah, maybe I was weak, maybe I was too scared, but I'll tell you what demon, I am not the same person I was four years ago. I am not scared of acting anymore, and I'm certainly not going to let you beat me here!" Rai roared in defiance.

"You know the reason I'm here, I want your power, and I'm done watching you mock Aya's memory! You got that!? " Rai exclaimed furiously. The demon responded by just laughing as she dropped the illusion of Aya, her appearance changed to that of a black-haired red eyed teenage girl. "Oh, you're very easy to anger now aren't you? But you know what? I like your spirit, kid. I'll let you use my power. I'm Sakinade, call me Saki." she said as she stuck out her hand. Rai shook her hand and said "Alright Saki, let's wreak some havoc together."

There was a sudden flash of light and gust of wind, next thing Rai knew he was on his back in the chamber with the others, clutching the gauntlets in his hands. Rai got up and said "Well, I guess its over now." as he gazed at the others.

"Right" Rai replied as he tried to gather his courage. Rai wanted to say that he was completely ready, but he was not, he hadn't been ready for this but nonetheless he had to do it. If he didn't do it now, there was absolutely zero chance that he would be able to face the others again.This is for everyone who died four years ago, this is for you, Aya. Rai thought to himself. He took a deep breath and grabbed the twin gauntlets tightly, before falling into the demon's world.

Rai suddenly found himself inside the room where everyone had died. This time however there was no blood on the walls and no bodies in the room, just a single person standing alone... Aya. "Hi again Rai" she said in almost a mocking, condescending tone.

So when I make this post, how should I do this, end it with Rai grabbing the gauntlets and getting transported or should I go on longer?

"A bit dramatic eh Guren?" Rai said, trying to alleviate the generally stressful atmosphere. The room was filled with all sorts of weapons, swords, axes, bows there was almost everything that one could imagine in this one room! One weapon in particular caught Rai's attention however, a pair of bladed gauntlets. Rai walked over to take a closer look at them, the actual gauntlets were made of a smooth looking black steel, whilst the blades were jagged and subtly tinted red, or was that blood? Nonetheless Rai felt almost drawn to the gauntlets, they somehow 'felt' like they were the right choice to Rai. "Well, well, well I think I've found my choice" Rai said, grinning he approached the gauntlets.

Rai looked up from the gauntlets for a moment, he looked to his fellow cadets "Hey Jean, Ellie, don't get yourselves killed alright?" Rai said in a joking tone, but there was some genuine concern behind his words that he couldn't manage to hide. He didn't want to lose Ellie, even if she might hate him, she was one of the few people who Rai knew and cared about. Of course he cared about Jean as well, he didn't want to see a great guy who was his friend just suddenly end up dead. Rai swallowed his courage and looked down at the gauntlets once more. All I have to do is beat this demon, that's all I have to do Rai thought to himself, he was honestly trying to calm himself down so he could focus on the task at hand.

"Alright then, sounds pretty straightforward." Rai said as he clapped his hands and rubbed them together. On the inside Rai was both excited and worried, the test was already disorienting. What if this demon was stronger? What if it decided to kill him before he got a chance to prove his strength? He couldn't afford to think about this right now, he had to focus on showing this demon who's boss, for everyone's sake. "Do we just head on in and pick any weapon we want now?"
