"Yeah, but the Thalmor don't really do much to make people think otherwise of the Altmer. So elves like the ones you knew are probably few and far between." Cronic said, losing himself into his own run-in with the Thalmor. He was on a road between towns at the time, lugging around a pack full of supplies and that heavy ass bow like it was nothing, when next thing he knew the Thalmor came out of nowhere, swiftly surrounding him and spitting false accusations. He tried to explain to them otherwise, but they didn't care. He snapped back to reality as the door knocked, and Aria told him to get the door.

"Wouldn't mind an easy job after fighting a bloody dragon." Cronic said, before he got up and opened the door to the Odd Jobs building, before speaking to whoever happened to be knocking.

"May I help you?" Cronic said, just keeping it short and simple for now.

"Please be an easy job."
"I make no secret I'm not a follower of the 8 divines the Thalmor regard highly. Akatosh, Stendarr, Kynareth... I've got better things to do than spend my life praying to gods. Needless to say, and I don't know how they came to think about this, the Thalmor came to the conclusion I was a worshipper of Talos, and they weren't keen to hear my side of the story. Needless to say I've been on the shit list ever since, having had to fight my way out of that encounter." Cronic said, looking at Aria setting the journal and quill aside while he waited for the Ink to dry.

"Hence why I typically use an alternate name if I have to pass through somewhere I know there are Thalmor agents operating. For what good it'll do. It's helped me dodge arrests by the Thalmor on some occasions, but on others, not so much." Cronic said, as he sighed.

"Someone needs to knock those damn High Elves off their bloody perch."
"On that, we agree." Cronic said, catching the septims, and setting them onto a table nearby, a journal-like book in his left hand, and a quill in between two fingers in the hand he'd used to catch the bag.

"A few close shaves too many with that one. We've fought against grim odds before, but that was because we were outnumbered against enemies our size. I was genuinely worried we'd end up finely roasted. Dragon breath is no joke..." Cronic said, his coat's right sleeve singed slightly, a slight burn on his arm from where the dragon's fire breath had caught his arm.

"I need to see if Arcadia has any potions that can treat burns later." Cronic said, as he went back to writing in the journal. Judging from what he was writing, he'd not had much time to put in a significant entry since he joined up with Odd Jobs. That or he just forgot about it for a time. One of the two.

"As for wanting the septims and none of the credit, I think I can understand that. I've made a few enemies in my travels, and having Balgruuf announce our names to the entire hold? I might as well just strap an archery target to my back. Word travels faster than most folks realise. Let's hope the people of Riverwood keep their traps shut about the whole thing."
"Could definitely use a break from the latter. Even if only for a time." Zerenis said in response to the Haro, before looking at Izumi.

"Just don't go overboard. I'm not exactly keen on throwing out my back today. Or any other day for that matter." Zerenis said, as he just kept an eye out for trouble as a just in case.

"The brightest lights cast the darkest shadows. Let's just hope this isn't a problem here." Zerenis thought to himself. Izumi had almost been lost to death's embrace once. He wasn't going to let some thug give the reaper a second chance.
Cronic, meanwhile, as he stepped onto the Cradle, and made his way back to the Escutcheon, took out a communicator and waited for the person on the receiving end of the call to answer it; Junk Guild's "Glitch".

"Glitch? I just got done with the meeting with the Minerva's captain. General resupplies are going to be needed, which is a given, and I can take care of that easily enough, but there's also a shortage of Impulse Silhouettes. And considering they now have two Impulse Gundam units on board, they're going to need plenty of spares. Impulse may be a four-part version of the Strike that can swap out damaged parts in mid-field, but if they run out of parts, there'll be a good few problems as a result. Think the junk guild can manage remedying that problem?"
Cronic just sighed as he picked up his Evoker and pocketing it, not saying a word.

"Just drag us right into this mess, why don't you... It's not like we don't have lives of our own that we need to live. Hell, I'd sooner prefer to wake up in my hotel room than get killed in some fantasy dream world right now. Throwing my life away has NEVER been high on my to-do list." Cronic thought to himself, as he began to run after the rabbit, doing what he can to avoid dropping the person on his shoulder."

"This is a situation of life and death for crying out loud. You go in half-assed and you're going home in a box."
Folding his arms, Zerenis let out a sigh, before turning to look at Izumi.

"Just don't go overboard. Since you're down to one arm and there's only two of us, there is only so much we can carry between us." Zerenis said, as he followed Izumi through Cradle 2, his mood taking a turn for the better.
Emerging from the briefing Room as Lucia and the new recruits proceeded towards it was none other than Cronic himself, and he seemed to be talking to the captain.

"So there's a shortage of Silhouettes for the Impulse, huh? Or should that be Impulses now? Either way, I'll see what I can do to remedy that problem, but I make no guarantees I'll be able to get them to you before the fighting kicks up again. Best of luck to you Captain." Cronic said, as he turned down the hall and began to make his way off the Ship and back into Cradle 2.

"I've other things to attend to as well, such as getting resources to the Junk Guild for the new units, along with keeping the fleet well stocked. This is going to be quite costly in the long term... Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Cronic said to himself, lost in his own thoughts.
My CS Post. I'll throw in more CSes when I can.

Firstly; My leading man and namesake character.

Name: Crobalt Nicholas Crystalis
Aliases: Cronic
Race: Imperial(?)
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Appearance:

Faction: The Odd Jobs (Full time)
Weapons:
Seldom seen without a sword or a giant bow that he carries on his back. Said bow he never uses because conventional arrows just don't fit it. He's been trying to figure out what the bow is supposed to shoot, but isn't aware of it's ability at this time.
Magic:
Adept level destruction and restoration magic
Equipment/Items:
A few potions, a pickaxe and a blacksmith's hammer.

Backstory/Personality: Raised in an orphanage since he was a baby, no-one knows who left him at that orphanage or why. The only thing they had was a name for him; Crobalt Nicholas Crystalis, and a massive bow with a spike on the end of the lower limb. No-one ever adopted him, so when he became old enough to fend for himself, he went off exploring the world, learning the way of the sword, the bow, and the Blacksmith. His travels had taken him to Whiterun, and at the time, he was a little scrapped for money, and happened to notice the Odd Jobs, so he joined the organization looking to make some coin, all the while furthering his expertise in his weapon proficiencies and the smithing trade.

Typically calm and level headed, Cronic usually only ever talks if spoken to first. Mainly on account of being lost in his own thoughts. Due to having no idea who his parents even are, or even if he has any family, he has no clue who he really is, or what purpose he'll serve in life. His nomadic lifestyle is the only thing keeping him from dwelling on it too much.

And past this point, other chars.

"I'm going to go with Izumi, just in case there's a couple of things she can't carry back with her for obvious reasons." Zerenis said, walking over to the blue haired pilot.

"As the veterans fall, those that are green as grass take their place... It's a sad reality." Zerenis said, to no-one in particular.

"Mobile suits can be replaced, but the pilots who are at the controls..." Zerenis said, gritting his teeth at the amount of casualties Task Force Sabre suffered because of Maddox's idiocy.
Cronic held the last remaining sleeping individual over his shoulder, as he raised an eyebrow at the Rabbit's dialogue between it and the... thing, in font of it.

"...Great... So now we're in a place where we're likely to die regardless whether or not we want to be here." Cronic said to no-one in particular, slamming the palm of his free hand against his forehead and shaking his head in annoyance.

"If I had a weapon of some description, I'd probably just off myself now and save whoever wants us dead the trouble. Unbe-freakin-lievable." Cronic said to himself, rubbing his forehead, having hit himself harder than initially intended.
"I think you'll first need to learn to have some self-confidence. If you're not confident about what you're going to get yourself into, then this could jeopardize the entire team. Though if you let it go to your head, you'll end up repeating the same mistake Maddox made. Sure we dealt a blow to the enemy, but we lost a fair bit ourselves too. Were it not for an independent organization happening to be there in the time, Izumi would likely not be here with us right now." Zerenis said, placing one hand on Akira's shoulder.

"We're currently not planning any major skirmishes as far as I'm aware, and the ETs will likely be licking their own wounds as well, so if there were ever a time to get you up and combat ready, I see no better time for a mock MS Battle than now. Firstly, you should get yourself familiarized with the ship and get settled in. We'll start the practise session as soon as you're ready. I'll do the same for Xanotos as well; I'd like to gauge where you're at in terms of skill, and identify your weak points and strong points."
